How to use your Compact Cold Brew Coffee Maker:
1. Align two vertical markings of Brewing Container to prevent leaking, and add 6 oz/175 g
of coarsely ground coffee up to coffee bean icon on Brewing Container. If you’re using
an OXO Conical Burr Coffee Grinder, this will be 11-15 on the grind setting. We
recommend weighing your coffee grinds, but for reference, 10 oz is roughly 3.5 cups.
2. Place the rainmaker on the brewing container
3. Fill glass carafe with water up to the dot under the OXO logo

#1 Does the brewer snap on or just sit on top of the carafe? Just received mine today.

It just sits on top of the carafe. Gravity does the rest. Make sure you have the bottom of the brewer screwed all the way in or it will leak all over your refrigerator.

#2 How do you clean out the grounds?

It’s messy but fortunately the mesh bottom screws off so you can rinse it. I put paper towels in the bottom of an empty sink befor I do it to catch all the grounds, then toss everything in the garbage. They really should have made filters for this!

#3 How much coffee do you use? How much does it make?

You put coffee up to the coffee Bean marker, 6 oz.
Use 24 Oz water. Yield is about 16 oz of coffee concentrate. The book says about 5-7 drinks.

#4 Is the voltage value 100-230 v, does it work with 230 volts?

This cold brewer does not require any electricity for it to work

#5 Can you use regular brands of ground coffee?

Yes. Just purchased this a couple weeks ago. Used regular Folgers once and it turned out find. Just poor the water in slowly as it takes longer to seep through.

#6 What are the dimensions of the coffee maker?

It measures approx.: 5.2" L x 5.3" W x 8.6" H
