#2 Does your freezer have an ice maker?

If your freezer has an ice maker, it could be allowing warm air to enter. Ice makers have a flap that prevents cool air from exiting the freezer while also keeping warm air out. Open your freezer and examine the ice chute. There should be a flap of material that will be flush against the housing. If the flap is not sitting flush, check for any ice or debris that may be blocking it.

#3 How do I defrost my refrigerator?

f there's a lot of ice in your freezer, you should defrost it and remove any build-up of frost and ice.
Remove all items from your freezer and place them in a refrigerator or cool environment
Unplug your freezer
Lay out some towels underneath the freezer to catch any water and have some more handy to mop any water inside the freezer
Carefully, fill a clean spray bottle with boiling water
Spray the frost with the hot water to melt it
Mop up the water with a towel and make sure the freezer is completely dry
Plug your freezer back in and restock it

#4 What to do if your ice maker is producing 50-90 cubes a day

If your ice maker is not producing enough ice, please try the following:
Lower the freezer temperature. The freezer temperature must be 0°C for the ice maker to work properly.
Make sure that the water valve on the refrigerator water supply line is completely open. You can find the water valve at the point that your refrigerator water supply line taps into your house water line.
If you have a water filter in your refrigerator, it may help to change the filter cartridge. Please consult your user manual for more information.
Make sure that your freezer is not overfilled. This can reduce ice production.

#5 How to make your ice maker produce more than 120 cubes a day

An ice maker typically makes 1 tray of ice every 90 minutes. To shorten the amount of time the freezer takes to produce a tray of ice, lower the freezer temperature.
If your refrigerator has a Power Freeze function, press the Power Freeze button to speed up the ice-making process. In Power Freeze mode both the compressor and the freezer fan run for 10 hours continuously. The ice-making interval will be reduced from 90 minutes to 55 minutes. If the ice bucket fills in fewer than 10 hours, then Power Freeze will stop automatically.

#6 Do you open the freezer door regularly?

If your home is humid, simply opening the freezer door can cause ice to build up. As you open the freezer door, warm and humid air rushes in and begins to freeze. Try and avoid leaving the freezer door open or opening it unecessarily.
