Safety information
Before using your new Samsung Refrigerator, please read this manual thoroughly
to ensure that you know how to operate the features and functions that your new
appliance offers safely and efciently.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or those who lack experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not let children play with the
refrigerator. Do not let children clean the refrigerator or perform user maintenance on
the refrigerator without supervision.

It is your responsibility to use common sense, caution, and care when installing,
maintaining, and operating your appliance.
Because the following operating instructions cover various models, the characteristics
of your refrigerator may differ slightly from those described in this manual. Not all

R-600a or R-134a is used as a refrigerant. Check the compressor label on the rear of the
appliance or the rating label inside the fridge to see which refrigerant is used for your
refrigerator. If this refrigerator contains ammable gas (Refrigerant R-600a), contact
your local authority in regard to safe disposal of this product.
To avoid the creation of a ammable gas-air mixture if a leak in the refrigerating circuit
occurs, the room you site the refrigerator in must be at least 35.3 cubic feet for every
8 gram of R-600a refrigerant in the refrigerator. The amount of refrigerant in your
particular appliance is shown on the identication plate inside the appliance.
Never start up an appliance showing any signs of damage. If in doubt, consult your
dealer. The room must be 35.3 ft

The installation location should not be exposed to direct sunlight and not placed near
any electric appliance or heat source, e.g. stove, oven or hob, radiator, etc.
If you use two products side by side, for safety reason, be sure to use certied products
in explosive gas atmospheres.
Refrigerant squirting out of the pipes could ignite or cause an eye injury. When
refrigerant leaks from the pipe, avoid any naked ames and move anything ammable
away from the product and ventilate the room immediately.
- Failing to do so may result in re or explosion.
It is hazardous for anyone other than an Authorised Service Person to service this
appliance.
