• This coffee maker is intended for indoor, household, non-commercial use for
brewing coffee. Do not use the coffee maker for any other purpose.
• Keep the coffee maker out of reach from children and pets. This coffee maker is not
intended for use by children. Extra caution is necessary when using this product
near children.
• Never leave the coffee maker unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the
coffee maker from the electrical outlet when storing.
• Always operate the coffee maker on a flat, level, and stable surface.
• Do not place the coffee maker in areas or on surfaces (for example: carpets) that
may be damaged by water, heat, or moisture. We will not be liable for any water-
related damage that occurs during the use of this product.
• Do not set the hot carafe on a wet or cold surface as the temperature difference
between the hot carafe and the colder surface may cause the carafe to break or
crack.
• Do not place the coffee maker or the carafe on or near gas or electric burners. Do
not place the coffee maker or the carafe inside of, or on top of, a microwave oven or
conventional oven.
• Do not operate this product or any other electrical product in the presence of
explosives and/or flammable fumes.
• Use only product manufacturer’s attachments with this product; otherwise a risk of
fire, electrical shock, or personal injury may result.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of this product. Always touch the product using the
handle and knobs. Never move the coffee maker when it is in use or while it
contains hot liquid. Allow the unit to cool completely before handling. Do not
touch the glass portion of the carafe or other hot surfaces of the coffee maker.
• Do not operate the coffee maker if it has a damaged power cord or plug. Do not
operate the coffee maker if it shows signs of damage. This product has no user-
serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only qualified
service personnel should perform any repairs.
• Do not remove bottom cover of coffee maker, as there may be a risk of fire or
electrical shock.
• Do not immerse the power cord or plug in, or otherwise expose them to, water or
other liquids, as an electrocution hazard may result.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter where it
may get tripped over or pulled.
• Keep the power cord and product away from heated surfaces.
• To disconnect product from an electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug; do not pull
on the power cord.

• Keep the carafe lid on the carafe while brewing and serving coffee. Never operate
the coffee maker without the carafe in place on the warming plate and the carafe lid
closed.
• Do not open the lid to the water reservoir or the filter basket while the coffee maker
is brewing. Allow the filter basket to cool completely before removing it from the
coffee maker.
• The carafe is designed solely for use with this coffee maker. Do not use the carafe
on a stovetop heating element or with other products.
• Do not use the carafe if it has a loose, weakened handle or if it is cracked, chipped,
or otherwise damaged.
• Do not clean the carafe with steel wool pads or other abrasive cleaners and
materials.
• This product is for indoor use only. Do not use this product outdoors, as an
electrocution hazard exists.

SHORT CORD
PURPOSE
NOTE:
A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should
be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by
children or pets.
POLARIZED
PLUG
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other),
please follow the below instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet
only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the
plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with
an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not
alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being used with this product. Do not
attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

BEFORE
FIRST USE
• Unpack all packaging materials and clean the coffeemaker thoroughly. Allow to dry
before first use.
• Before the first use, please check if all the parts of the appliance are in good
condition. If not, please contact the seller or manufacturer.
• It is recommended to run the coffeemaker for one cycle with just plain water and no
coffee to clean the internal parts of the coffeemaker.
HOW TO USE YOUR
COFFEEMAKER
• Open the filter compartment from left side and take out the built-in removable
filter, then put ground coffee into the filter evenly.
• Reinstall the filter, close the filter compartment and click it back into place.
• Open the lid.
• Fill up the glass carafe with cold water and pour in to the water reservoir tank.
• Put the carafe with the lid onto the hotplate; the lid of the carafe pushes the lever
and opens the drip hole.
• Plug the coffee maker into an electric outlet and switch to ON
• After a few minutes hot coffee drips into the carafe through the drip hole.
PAUSE ‘N SERVE FEATURE:
During the middle of brewing process, you can pause the cycle by simply removing the
carafe out of the coffee maker to sneak a cup of coffee. A special built-in device will
pause the brewing cycle and keep coffee from dripping into the carafe.
AFTER USE
• When the last drop has dripped out of the filter, the carafe can be removed from the
hot plate; the lever goes back automatically and closes the drip hole.
• Put the carafe with the remaining coffee back on the hotplate to keep the coffee
warm.
• After drinking, please switch the appliance off and unplug the appliance. The pilot
light will turn off.
• Remove the coffee filter and the remaining coffee grounds, then clean the filter.
• If more coffee is required, please switch off the appliance first. After cooling the
appliance for 5 minutes, pour cold water into the water tank.

CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the main plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
• You may clean the unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the unit in water or wash
it directly in water.
• The removable filter can be washed directly with water or in a dishwasher. Always
note not to damage the filter mesh.
• When de-scaling, operate the appliance twice using white vinegar instead of water
to fill the water reservoir tank
• Let the appliance work twice more with only water to rinse away the remaining
scale and vinegar

WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID WITH A DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE
1. Your small kitchen appliance is built with precision, inspected and tested before leaving our
factory.
2. It is warranted, to the original purchaser to be free from any manufacturing defects under
normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded. This Warranty applies only to the
original purchaser of this product.
3. If you need to exchange the unit, please return it in its original carton, with a sales receipt, to
the store where you purchased it. If you are past the stores allowed return policy period,
please see the enclosed Warranty.
4. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should give you
years of satisfactory service.
5. During the one-year warranty period, a product with a defect will be either repaired or
replaced with a new or reconditioned comparable model (at our option) when the product is
returned to our Service Center. (See the “Returns” section below).
6. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance of the
one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.

This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50 contiguous states
plus the District of Columbia and does NOT cover:
- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial use,
improper assembly or installation of product.
- Damages caused in shipping.
- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
- Defects other than manufacturing defects.
- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care and maintenance,
or incorrect current or voltage.
- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.
- Damages of parts that are not electrical; for example: cracked or broken plastic or glass.
- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.
- Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service Center.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
RETURNS:
A. Any return of defective merchandise to the manufacturer must be processed
accordingly by first contacting customer service (contact information shown below) to
obtain an RA # (Return Authorization Number). We will not accept any returns of
merchandise without an applicable RA #.
B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your following these
instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic USA:
1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable box to avoid
damage in shipping.
2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:
a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime telephone
number, and RA#,
b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,
c) The model number of the unit and the problem you are having
(Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to the unit before the
box is sealed), and
d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.
3. Maxi-Matic USA recommends you ship the package U.P.S ground service for
tracking purposes. We cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged
products returned to us during incoming shipment. For your protection,
always carefully package the product for shipment and insure it with the
carrier. C.O.D shipments cannot be accepted.
4.
All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.

6. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic USA will
repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or workmanship,

13. Siempre deberá de apagar el aparato antes de desconectar del toma corriente.
14. Nunca introduzca utensilios de metal en el aparato, podría causar fuego, descarga
eléctrica o daños personales
15. Fuego podría ocurrir, si el aparato es cubierto o toca material inflamable como:
Cortinas alfombras y paredes cuando esté en uso.
16. Extrema precaución deberá tener cuando use depósitos construidos de otro
material que no sean de metal o vidrio, si aplica.
17. Para reducir el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica, este Aparato tiene una ploga
polarizada (un lado de las navajas de la ploga es mas ancha que la otra) y esta
diceñada para entrar en un reseptáculo polarizado de una sola manera.
18. No ponga dentro o en la superficie exterior del aparato los siguientes materiales,
papel, cartón, plásticos, algún otro material inflamable o artículos similares que no
sean comestibles

como usar su cafetera
Antes del primer uso
• Favor de comprobar si todas las partes de la cafetera estan en buenas condiciones
antes de usar por vez primera. Si no lo estan, favor de comunicarse con el vendedor
o fabricante.
NOTA: Para remover cualquier residuo de fabricación, favor de
enjuagar la cafetera perfectamente antes de usar.
Como enjuagar:
• Llene la jarra de vidrio con agua unicamente y vacie en el deposito de la cafetera.
• Conecte la cafetera en la toma de corriente eléctrica y encienda.
• Sin colocar los granos de café en el filtro, espere a que el ciclo de transferencia haya
terminado y tire el agua.
Usando la cafetera
• Abra el compartimento del filtro y mueva hacia un lado, coloque el café deceado en
el filtro de manera uniforme,
• Coloque de nuevo en su lugar el compartimento de filtro y cierre perfectamente.
• Coloque la jarra de vidrio en la cafetera, la tapadera de la jarra empujará y abrirá la
válvula de goteo automáticamente y dejará caer en la jarra de vidrio el café ya
hecho.
• Habra el deposito principal de la cafetera.
• Llene con agua fresca, asegurandose de no sobre llenar el deposito de la cafetera.
• Conecte la cafetera a la toma de corriente eléctrica y coloque el interruptor en la
posición de encendido.
• Espere a que el café termine de prepararse o sirva en cualquier momento.
Como utilizar la característica de pausa y sirva:
Durante el ciclo de transferencia de café, usted podra remover la jarra de vidrio y en
cualquier momento servir una o varias tazas de café. Una válvula integrada en la cafetera
evitará que el café se derrame en el plato térmico.
Despues de usar
• Podra usted sacar la jarra de vidrio de la cafetera en cualquier momento o cuando el
ciclo de transferencia haya terminado, la válvula integrada en el deposito del filtro
se cerrara automaticamente y evitara cualquier derrame de café.
• Para mantener el café caliente, despues de servir, coloque la jarra con el residuo en
el plato térmico,
• Apague y desconecte de la toma de corriente eléctrica despues de usar.
• Mueva a un lado el compartimento de filtro, limpie y remueva todo residuo de café.
• Si se require el hacer mas café apague la cafetera y espere unos cinco minutos
aproximadamente para que enfríe, coloque los granos de café y agua fresca en sus
respectivos compartimentos y por ultimo encienda la cafetera.

• Siempre desconecte el aparato de la toma de corriente eléctrica antes de limpiar.
• Utilize un trapo húmedo para limpiar exterior de la cafetera. Nunca lo lave
directamente o sumerja bajo agua o ningún otro líquido.
• El filtro puede ser lavado en el lava platos sin dañarse o directamente bajo el agua.
Tenga cuidado de no dañar el filtro.
• Para limpiar el deposito de agua y sus conductos de mal olor y reciduos minerales,
utilize vinagre solamente para llenar y limpiar el deposito de la cafetera, no ponga
granos de café en el filtro y deje trabajar la cafetera por dos ciclos.
• Deje trabajar la cafetera dos ciclos más, con agua solamente.para limpiar los
residuos de vinagre.
uso de un cordón corto
NOTA
: Un cordón eléctrico es suministrado para reducir el riesgo de daños personales
resultando que pueda enredarse o tropezar con un cordón largo.
Extensiones eléctricas están disponibles y podrán ser usados siempre y cuando sean
utilizados con mucha precaución
Si una extensión es utilizada;(1) Las especificaciones eléctricas marcadas en el cordón
deberán de ser cuando menos igual a las especificaciones del aparato;(2) La extensión
eléctrica deberá de colocarse de manera que no cuelgue de la orilla del gabinete donde
podría ser jalado o tropezar sin intención por niños o mascotas.

Si este aparato está equipado con un enchufe polarizado (Un lado de la navaja es más
ancho que la otra), siga las siguientes instrucciones:
Para reducir el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica, este enchufe esta diseñado para entrar
en un receptáculo polarizado de una sola manera. Si no puede enchufarlo en el
receptáculo trate haciéndolo girar.
Si el enchufe todavía no entra correctamente, póngase en contacto con un electricista
profesional. Nunca utilice el enchufe en una extensión eléctrica a menos que entre
completamente en el receptáculo de la extensión. No altere el enchufe del aparato o la
extensión eléctrica utilizada con este producto. No intente anular la función de seguridad
del enchufe polarizado.

1. Su aparato de cocina está construido con precisión, inspeccionados y probados antes de
salir de nuestra fábrica.
2. Se garantiza, al comprador original, de estar libres de defectos de fabricación en
condiciones de uso normales y las condiciones para un (1) año, cordones excluidos. Esta
garantía se aplica sólo al comprador original de este producto.
3. Si necesita cambiar la unidad, devuélvala en su caja original, con el recibo de compra, a la
tienda donde lo compró. Si usted está más allá del plazo concedido para el retorno por la
política de la tienda, por favor consulte la garantía incluida.
4. Si utiliza el aparato para uso doméstico y de acuerdo con las instrucciones, debería ofrecerle
años de servicio satisfactorio.
5. Durante el período de garantía de un año, un producto con un defecto será reparado o
reemplazado por un modelo nuevo o reacondicionado (a nuestro criterio) cuando el
producto sea devuelto a nuestro Centro de Servicio. (Consulte la sección "Devoluciones" a
continuación).
6. El producto reparado o reemplazado estará garantizado por el saldo restante del período de

INSTRUCCIONES DE DEVOLUCIÓN
DEVOLUCIONES:
A. Cualquier devolución de mercancía defectuosa al fabricante deben ser procesados
apropiadamente contactando primero al servicio al cliente (información de contacto se
muestra a continuación) para obtener un # RA (Número de autorización de devolución). No se
aceptará ninguna devolución de mercancía sin un # RA aplicable.
B. INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE RETORNO. Su garantía depende que usted siga estas
instrucciones si va a devolver la unidad a Maxi-Matic EE.UU.:
1. Empaque cuidadosamente el producto en su caja original o en otra caja adecuada
para evitar daños durante el envío.
2. Antes del envío de la devolución unidad, asegúrese de adjuntar:
a) Su nombre, dirección completa con código postal, número de teléfono
durante el día, y #RA
b) Un recibo de compra fechado o COMPROBANTE DE COMPRA,
c) El número de modelo de la unidad y el problema que tiene (Encierre en
un sobre y pegue directamente a la unidad antes de sellar la caja) y
d) Todas las piezas o accesorios relacionados con el problema.
3. Maxi-Matic EE.UU. recomienda enviar el paquete de servicio terrestre de UPS para
fines de seguimiento. No podemos asumir la responsabilidad por productos
perdidos o dañados devueltos a nosotros durante el transporte entrante. Para su
protección, siempre cuidadosamente empaquetar el producto para su envío y
asegurarlo con la compañía. Envíos C.O.D no puede ser aceptado.
4.
