Saturation display
When the metal grease filters or the activated charcoal
filter are/is saturated, a signal sounds for approximately
four seconds after the fan is switched off.
The display for the corresponding symbol flashes as
well:
Metal grease filter: E
Activated charcoal filter: F
If you have not yet done so, the metal grease filters
should now be cleaned or the active carbon filter
changed.
For instructions on how to clean the metal grease filters,
please refer to the ~ "Cleaning and maintenance"
on page 8 section.
The saturation indicators can be reset while they are
flashing. To do this, touch the appropriate symbol.
Switching over the indicator for air recirculation
mode
For air recirculation mode, the electronic control
indicator must be switched over accordingly:
The extractor hood must be connected but remain
switched off.
If the air recirculation mode starter set is fitted, touch
and hold the # and + symbols at the same time
until the bars above symbols 1 and F light up. If the
CleanAir air recirculation module is fitted, touch and
hold this button combination again until the bars
above 2 and F light up.
Touch and hold this button combination again to
switch the electronic control indicator back to air
extraction mode (E indicator).
Lighting
The lighting can be switched on and off independently
of the fan.
Touch the B symbol.
Setting the brightness
Press and hold the B symbol until the required
brightness is reached.
Audible signal
Switching on the audible signal
Touch and hold the # and C symbols at the
same time for approximately three seconds when the
fan is switched off. An audible signal sounds as an
acknowledgement.
Switching off the acoustic signal
Repeat the "Switching on the acoustic signal" process.

The appliance will become hot during operation,
especially near the bulbs. Allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.

Penetrating moisture may result in an electric shock.
Clean the appliance using a damp cloth only. Before
cleaning, pull out the mains plug or switch off the circuit
breaker in the fuse box.

Do not use any high-pressure cleaners or steam
cleaners, which can result in an electric shock.
:Warning – Risk of injury!
Components inside the appliance may have sharp
edges. Wear protective gloves.
Cleaning agents
To ensure that the different surfaces are not damaged
by using the wrong cleaning agent, observe the
information in the table. Do not use any of the following:
Harsh or abrasive cleaning agents,
Cleaning agents with a high alcohol content,
Hard scouring pads or cleaning sponges,
High-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners.
Wash new sponge cloths thoroughly before use.
Follow all instructions and warnings included with the
cleaning agents.
