ABOUT NATURAL CONVECTION
What is Natural Convection?
Answer: When in Bake mode, your oven automatically defaults to Natural
Convection Baking. In your countertop oven there is carefully designed
venting built into the oven that contributes to improved airflow throughout
the chamber and as a result, cooks your food faster and more evenly.
Do I need to adjust my time when in Bake mode to accommodate for Natural
Convection?
Answer: On average, Natural Convection will shorten the cooking time, but
it will vary by food. It’s suggested to shorten your cooking time to start and
then add additional time if needed.
NATURAL CONVECTION BAKING
Note: This oven has been designed to cook faster. Please inspect your items
earlier than the prescribed cook time for a conventional oven to ensure that
they do not get overcooked.
Note: For best results, when baking or cooking, always preheat the oven for
at least 10 minutes at the desired temperature setting.
1. Place items to be baked directly on wire rack or place pan on wire rack.
2. Set Temp selector knob to desired temperature. The Bake indicator light will
blink, indicating the oven is on stand by.
3. Turn the Time knob to set cook time on digital display.
4. Press the Start/Stop button to begin baking. The digital display will count
down while cooking, showing the time remaining.
5. There will be 2 audible beeps once the cooking cycle is complete. After 60
seconds the unit will turn off.
6. Open the oven door. Using oven mitts or pot holders, slide the rack out to
remove the food.
7. Unplug appliance when not in use.
