Features
•High resolution 70 mm diameter HD driver units
Ultra wideband (4 Hz - 100 kHz) audio performance beyond the audible range
produces atmospheric musical nuances that are characteristic of high resolution
audio files.
•Aluminum-coated Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragms
Liquid crystal polymer film, which is ideal for diaphragms, is coated with aluminum
to provide high and flat internal loss in all ranges and sound production without
coloration.
•Enfolding structure
Inclined earpads provide a comfortable wrap-around feeling.
•Ergonomic ear pad
The ear pads are manufactured by draping, which allows ergonomic design to fit
the head and makes use of the flexibility of urethane. Improvement of the fit
protects from sound leaking and delivers powerful lows.
•L/R ground separated cable for cross talk reduction
•Silver-coated OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) strands to reduce the transmission loss of
the signals
•L/R separated cables for high sound quality
•Detachable cables
A normal headphone cable and a balanced-connection headphone cable are
supplied. By connecting to the Sony portable headphone amplifier PHA-3
(optional), that supports balanced output, balance connection can be made.

Precautions
High volume may affect your hearing. For traffic safety, do not use
while driving or cycling.
•The supplied unimatch plug adaptor is only for the headphone cable; the balanced-
connection headphone cable cannot be used.
•To disconnect the headphone cable, pull it out by pulling plug, not the cord.
Otherwise the cord may break.
•When connecting the headphone cable, make sure to fully insert the plug. If the
plug is not fully inserted, the sound may not be output.
Optional replacement earpads can be ordered from your nearest authorized Sony
retailer or www.sony.com.
