To set cruise control speed:
1.Push the CRUISE button on the
steering wheel to turn the system
on. The CRUISE indicator light in
the instrument cluster will illumi-
nate.
2.Accelerate to the desired speed.
• min. 30 km/h (19 mph): when
there is no vehicle in front
• min. 0 km/h (0 mph): when there
is a vehicle in front
3.Lever must be moved down (to
SET-) prior to setting any desired
speed. The SET indicator light in
the instrument cluster will illumi-
nate. Release the accelerator at
the same time. The desired speed
will automatically be maintained.
If there is a vehicle in front of you, the
speed may decrease to maintain the
distance to the vehicle ahead.
On a steep grade, the vehicle may
slow down or speed up slightly while
going uphill or downhill.

• Always maintain care in
observing your direction of
travel when using your ASCC
including potential dangerous
surprise events such as
pedestrians and suddenly
stopped or oncoming vehi-
cles.
• The ASCC system is not a sub-
stitute for proper and safe driv-
ing. Always drive safely and
use caution. The ASCC may
not detect every object in the
vehicle's direction of travel.
