JL Audio recommends high quality ampliers such as the JL Audio XD300/1v2. The diagram below shows the recommended crossover settings for the XD300/1v2. For a detailed description of the
amplier settings, consult the owner’s manual for the amplier. If another amplier is being used, please reference this illustration and use similar settings on that amplier.

CONNECTIONS
Using quality power, signal, and speaker wire is essential in ensuring the performance of your Stealthbox®. JL Audio recommends using a 4 AWG power kit such as the XD-PCS4-1B for your
Stealthbox® amplier. Other kits are available should you be using more than one amplier. Signal wire such as the JL Audio Premium Audio Interconnect Cables should be used to provide signal for
both channels of the amplier. JL Audio recommends using 12 AWG speaker wire for subwoofers such as our XC-BCS12-25.

STEP 8
Using a 3/8” drill bit, carefully enlarge the holes
in the floor and heat shield, then remove the
Wax Square.
STEP 7
Carefully remove the enclosure, ensuring the
Wax Square remains affixed to the floor.
Using a 1/8” drill bit, carefully drill through the
center of the impression in the Wax Square and
through the vehicle floor and the heat shield
below.
STEP 6
Set the enclosure into position inside the
vehicle, as shown. Firmly press down on the
enclosure so that the 3/8 - 16 x 1-1/4” Set Screw
leaves an impression in the Wax Square.
STEP 5
Carefully place the enclosure on a flat surface
with the subwoofer facing down.
Thread a 3/8 - 16 x 1-1/4” Set Screw into the
threaded insert on the bottom of the
enclosure, leaving approximately 1/8” exposed.
STEP 4
Remove the adhesive backing from the Wax
Square, and affix it to the floor in the corner of
the flat section of the floor, as shown.
STEP 3
Remove the clips around the flange of the
underseat storage pocket on the passenger
side, then remove the storage pocket from the
vehicle.
STEP 2
Fold the seat bottom up.
STEP 1
Empty the rear seat area.

MID/HIGH FREQUENCY DRIVER FITMENT
A variety of JL Audio coaxial and component systems will t in the factory speaker locations of your vehicle.
STEP 9
Unclip and remove the passenger side door sill
panel. Route speaker cable under the carpet
from the enclosure location to the sill, and
route the cable as
necessary.

ST EP 11
From under the vehicle, slide a 3/8” Flat
Washer, 3/8” Split Lock Washer, and 3/8 - 16
Hex Nut over the 3/8 -16 x 1-1/4” Set Screw, and
fully tighten.
STEP 10
Back the 3/8 - 16 x 1-1/4” Set Screw out of the
threaded insert until approximately 3/4” is
exposed.
Connect the speaker cable to the terminal cup
on the side of the enclosure, and place the
Stealthbox® into position, allowing the 3/8 - 16
x 1-1/4” Set Screw to pass through the holes in
the floor and heat shield.
STEP 12
Reinstall the door sill panel.
Fold the seat bottom back down.
