Different from a tap and die set to cut new threads a thread chaser set is
designed for cleaning up and restoring existing threads. They remove dirt
and corrosion from threads without shaving off metal and aim to eliminate
resistance when reinstalling and removing the bolt and avoid
cross-threading.
To use a thread chaser, simply fasten it on a threaded hole or bolt as you
would with regular bolts or nuts. Then, turn the chaser slowly down the
gunky or slightly damaged threads. Be gentle to avoid causing more
damage.
A thread chaser set is for anyone who takes things apart and reassembles
them. But most importantly, it is a must-have kit for any auto mechanic for
chasing threads on rusty fasteners and bolt holes on cylinder heads,
engine blocks, and bodies of vehicles.

Reparar roscas dañadas.

un juego de roscadores está diseñado para limpiar y restaurar hilos
existentes. Eliminan la suciedad y la corrosión de las roscas sin raspar el
metal y tienen como objetivo eliminar la resistencia al reinstalar y quitar el
perno y evitar roscas cruzadas.
Para usar un cortahilos, simplemente fíjelo en un orificio o perno roscado

cacciafili è progettato per pulire e ripristinare i fili esistenti. Rimuovono lo

Wiedereinsetzen und Entfernen der Schraube zu beseitigen und ein

ASSEMBLY AND USE

Anders dan een tap- en matrijzenset om nieuwe draden te snijden, is een
draadvolgerset ontworpen voor het opruimen en herstellen van bestaande
draden. Ze verwijderen vuil en corrosie van schroefdraad zonder metaal af
te scheren en zijn bedoeld om weerstand te elimineren bij het opnieuw
installeren en verwijderen van de bout en om kruislingse schroefdraad te
voorkomen.
Om een draadvolger te gebruiken, bevestigt u deze eenvoudigweg op een
gat of bout met schroefdraad, zoals u dat met gewone bouten of moeren
zou doen. Draai vervolgens de jager langzaam langs de smurrie of licht
beschadigde draden. Wees voorzichtig om te voorkomen dat u nog meer
schade aanricht.
Een draadvolgerset is voor iedereen die dingen uit elkaar haalt en weer in
elkaar zet. Maar het allerbelangrijkste is dat het een onmisbare kit is voor
elke automonteur voor het najagen van schroefdraad op roestige

bevestigingsmiddelen en boutgaten in cilinderkoppen, motorblokken en
carrosserieën van voertuigen.

Ta bort mutter eller bult.
Till skillnad från en tapp- och stanssats för att klippa nya gängor är en
gängfångare utformad för att rengöra och återställa befintliga gängor. De
tar bort smuts och korrosion från gängor utan att raka bort metall och syftar
till att eliminera motstånd vid återinstallation och borttagning av bulten och
undvika korsgängning.
För att använda en gängfångare, fäst den helt enkelt på ett gängat hål eller
bult som du skulle göra med vanliga bultar eller muttrar. Vrid sedan
chasern långsamt nerför de fula eller lätt skadade trådarna. Var försiktig för
att undvika att orsaka mer skada.
Ett trådjagarset är för alla som tar isär saker och sätter ihop dem igen. Men
viktigast av allt är det ett måste-ha kit för alla bilmekaniker för att jaga
gängor på rostiga fästelement och bulthål på cylinderhuvuden, motorblock
och fordonskarosser.
