Important Safety Instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
• This appliance is not to be used by children. Keep this
appliance and its power cable out of the reach of children.
• This appliance may be used by persons with physical,
sensory or mental impairments or by inexperienced
persons, if they are properly supervised or have been
informed about how to use the product in asafe manner
and understand the potential dangers.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by
children.
• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced in
aprofessional service centre in order to prevent
adangerous situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance
with the power cord damaged.

Incorrect use may lead to injuries.
• Be careful when handling the attachments andwhen
cleaning them.
• Always clean the food contact surfaces of the appliance
according to the instructions in this manual.

Additional Important Safety Instructions forUse of the Appliance
• This product is designed for household use only. Do not use the appliance in an industrial environment or outdoors.
• This appliance is used for mixing, kneading and whisking food. Do not use it for any other purposes than those intended.
• Before connecting this appliance to apower socket, make sure the rated voltage stated on the product'srating label corresponds to the voltage in
your power socket.
• Do not place the appliance on or near an electric or gas cooker, on the edge of atable or on an unstable surface. Only place the appliance on an
even, dry and stable surface.
• Use the appliance only with the original accessories supplied with it.
• Before first use, the detachable attachments should be thoroughly washed with warm water using kitchen detergent, then rinsed with potable water
and wiped thoroughly dry with asoft cloth.
• Before switching on the appliance, always make sure that the removable attachments are properly attached to the motor unit. Never combine
different types of attachments.
• Do not use the appliance if your hands are wet.
• Do not cover the appliance ventilation openings.
• Do not turn on the appliance when it is empty. Incorrect use of the appliance may negatively affect its lifetime.
• Operate the appliance only after you have immersed the whisks or kneading hooks in the container with the ingredients. While the appliance is in
use, keep the attachments submerged in the container of ingredients to prevent splashing.
• Avoid contact with rotating parts of the appliance. Do not insert your hands, fork or other objects into the container of ingredients while blending and
keep hair, clothing, etc. well away from the rotating parts of the appliance. If afork or other object falls into the container while blending, turn the
appliance off immediately.
• Take extra care when handling hot liquids and food. Hot steam or splashing hot liquids andfood may cause scalding. For added safety, it is
recommended to let hot liquids and foods cool before blending. Never mix hot foods and liquids directly in apot that is placed on the hob.
• If you have been processing hot foods, the removable attachments may become warm after use.
• If food sticks to the rotating attachments or the sides of the container, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains socket. Make
sure that the rotating parts have stopped rotating and dismantle the attachments. Clean the sides of the container and accessories with aplastic
squeegee. Afterwards, reassemble the appliance properly, connect it to the mains socket and continue mixing.
• Do not leave the appliance in continuous operation for longer than 10 minutes. Let it cool down before turning it on again.
• Keep the appliance clean. Perform the cleaning in accordance with the instructions in the Cleaning and maintenance chapter. Do not submerge the
motor unit andpower cord in water or any other liquids, and do not wash these parts under running water. The removable attachments are intended
for short term contact with food (including beverages), i.e. max. 4 hours. Do not leave them submerged, for example in water, for along time to avoid
damaging their finish.
• Ensure that the power plug contacts do not come into contact with moisture. Do not place heavy items on the power cord. Make sure the power cord
does not hang over the edge of atable or that it does not touch ahot surface.
• Unplug the appliance from the power socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord. Otherwise, damage to the power cord or the socket could occur.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly or shows any signs of damage. To prevent dangerous situations, do not repair or modify the
appliance yourself. All repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre. Tampering with the appliance may result in the loss of your
legal rights regarding faulty performance or warranty for quality.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging materials, including advertising labels and tags,
from the appliance and its accessories.
• Wash the whisk set and kneading hooks thoroughly with warm water
using neutral kitchen detergent. Then rinse everything with clean
water and leave to dry freely, or wipe thoroughly with asoft cloth.
• None of the components of this appliance are dishwasher safe.
• Wipe the motor unit with adry cloth.
Warning:
Do not rinse the motor unit or its power cord under
water or immerse it in water.

ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING
• Before assembling or disassembling the appliance, make sure
that the speed switch (A2) is set to 0 (off) and that the motor unit is
disconnected from the mains socket and the rotating parts are not
moving.
• Select the attachments (whisks or kneading hooks) you want to use
and attach it to the holes at the bottom of the motor unit (see Figure B).
• The correct procedure must be followed when inserting the
attachments into the holes, otherwise the attachments may come
loose during operation. Insert the whisk or ring hook into the left hand
hole and press it towards the motor unit until it is fixed. Fix the second
attachment of the same type in the right opening in the same way.
Warning:
Never combine different types of accessories.
• To remove the attachments, bring the appliance to an upright position
and place it on aflat surface. Press the A3 button. This releases
the attachments from the holes at the bottom of the motor unit and
they can then be easily removed. Do not use force to remove the
attachments.
Warning:
The A3 button is locked against pressing unless the
speed switch (A2) is set to 0 (off).

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
• Place the food and liquids you want to process in alarge enough
container.
• Assemble the appliance according to the instructions in the chapter
Assembling and Disassembling.
• Unwind the entire length of the power cord and connect the appliance
to the mains socket.
• Immerse the attachments in the container of ingredients and set the
speed switch (A2) to the desired speed between 1 and 5 to start the
appliance. For initial mixing of the ingredients, we recommend setting
alower speed first and then adjusting it as needed. Use only speed 1 to
knead the dough. During operation, keep the attachments submerged
in the container to avoid splashing ingredients outside the container.
Warning:
The maximum continuous operation time of the
appliance is 10 minutes. Allow the appliance to cool
for 15 minutes before using it again. When kneading
heavy, dense dough, do not leave the appliance
running for more than 5 minutes.
• Press and hold the TURBO (A1) pulse button to increase the speed to
the maximum speed. Do not use this button for more than 30 seconds
to avoid overheating the appliance.
• When you have finished using it, set the speed switch (A2) to 0 (off)
and unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Make sure that
the rotating parts have stopped rotating. Bring the appliance to an
upright position and place it on aflat surface. Disassemble the used
attachments and clean all used parts according to the instructions in
the chapter “Cleaning and Maintenance”.

• When whisking egg whites, the container and attachments must be
absolutely clean and dry. Even asmall amount of fat can cause the
egg whites not to be whipped to the desired snow consistency.
• The whipping cream should be cooled to 6°C before whipping.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is switched off,
disconnected from the mains socket and that the rotating parts are
not moving.
• Wash the dismantled attachments thoroughly with warm water using
neutral kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with clean water and dry
thoroughly with afine wiping cloth. The removable attachments are
intended for short term contact with food (including beverages), i.e.
max. 4 hours. Do not leave them submerged, for example in water, for
along time to avoid damaging their finish.
• To clean the outer surface of the motor unit, use acloth slightly
dampened with aweak solution of detergent cleaner. After applying
the detergent solution, wipe the surface with acloth slightly
dampened in clean water and then wipe it dry.
Warning:
None of the components of this appliance are
dishwasher safe. Never immerse the motor unit or the
power cord in water or any other liquid.
Warning:
Do not use thinners, abrasive cleaners, etc. to clean
the appliance.
Otherwise the surface treatment of the appliance
could be damaged.
