INSTRUCTIONS
1 Turn o cold water supply under the sink.
2 Remove the old cartridge from the manifold by
rotating it to the left until it unlocks. Pull cartridge
down and discard.
3 Remove new cartridge from packaging. Ensure all
connection points are aligned before attaching new
cartridge to the manifold. Push in the cartridge and
turn to the right until it locks into place.
• Systems certied for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected
waters that may contain lterable cysts.
• Rated Capacity: 7,900 gallons (29,904.75 liters)
• Reference the Performance Data Sheet for specication information
For use with municipally treated water only. Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown water quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
4 Ensure cartridge is securely attached
prior to turning on water supply.
5 Turn on the water supply to pressurize
the system and ensure there are no leaks.
6 Turn on kitchen faucet to cold water and run water through the cartridge at full force for
at least 10 minutes. This action will purge the system of air and carbon nes ensuring
maximum lter life and an eective water ltration system.
