Insert Coro into the Coro charging and
storage pod. Use the alignment cones to guide
the shield onto the charging pins.
The Coro app is compatible with iOS and
Android. Go to www.coroflo.com and
download it for free from the App or
Google Play stores.
It is recommended that you register in
order to access all your breastfeeding
data. Coroflo’s statement about data
protection is available at www.coroflo.com.

You can store the USB cable in the front
compartment of the Coro charging and
storage pod.
The battery life for the fully charged Coro
shield is approximately 3+ hours of continuous
use. We recommend fully charging Coro
before each feed.
In order to protect it and preserve its materials,
the Coro shield should be stored out of direct
sunlight. It is recommended to store the Coro
shield clean and dry in its charging and
storage pod.

Size: Coro nipple shield is designed with
the same dimensions of a standard
commercial nipple shield of medium size.

Light guide
Plug the USB cable into the USB port and
connect the other end of the USB cable to a
USB port or to a wall charger. If your phone is
compatible, you can charge Coro from your
phone (USB cable not provided). The average
charging time is approx 30 min.
The light guide will indicate the charging status
of the shield with a dim light and it will switch off
when fully charged.
Read all the instructions before using this
product.
CAUTION!
Coro is not a
medical device and should
not be used to diagnose,
treat or prevent any medical
condition. Always remember
to contact your lactation
consultant or GP may you
experience any issues or pain
while breastfeeding.
Guidance on the use of
nipple-shields can be sought
from a qualified lactation
consultant or GP. Coroflo
can also provide sources of
information on request.

Important safety information
IMPORTANT: Ensure Coro has been
cleaned fully before using.
SYRINGE
Before use, separate all syringe parts
and wash in warm soapy water. Leave to
dry on a clean surface.

Prepare two small bowls: one with
clean warm water mixed with a few
drops of dishwashing liquid, one
with clean drinking quality water.

Fill the syringe fully with water
and dishwashing liquid.

Place the syringe fully into the Coro
teat and carefully inject all the water
solution. Be sure to push down the
syringe slowly for a few seconds to
ensure the Coro teat is cleaned
fully. Rinse the soapy syringe.

Repeat the same process with
the clean water until no soapy
water remains and then rinse it.
Get rid of any remaining water by
pushing air in with the syringe.
Repeat as necessary.
Leave all parts on a clean
surface to air dry.

Cleaning Coro Cleaning Coro
Coro must be rinsed thoroughly to avoid
dry up of breast milk and prevent
bacterial growth. Under no circumstanc
-
es should any other implement or tool be
inserted into the teat as this will damage
the sensor; this also excludes the use of
any type of cleaning brush (soft-bristled
or otherwise). If so desired, sterilisation
liquid or tablets such as Milton may be
used on the Coro shield, but only in cold,
drinking-quality water.
CAUTION!
In order to avoid
infections, always inspect the
Coro shield and the inside of
the Coro charging and
storage pod before use to
check for dirt. Do not use the
Coro shield if there is visible
dirt or contamination on it.
The Coro Shield and its
charging and storage pod
are intended for use by a
single user only and should
not be shared between
babies for hygiene reasons.
CAUTION!
The expected
lifetime of the silicone parts is
6 months of continuous use,
this can be longer with
intermittent use but if there
are any signs of degradation
or wear and tear, Coro needs
to be replaced.

WARNING! If the light guide shows a
flashing light when the USB cable is
connected to the charging pod, this
may be an indication of device
malfunction or excessive temperature.
If the situation persists in a cool
environment, disconnect the USB
cable immediately, discontinue use,
and return the unit to Coroflo.
WARNING!
Do not return the Coro
shield to the pod if wet or damp.
CAUTION!
This product is not a toy. Do
not allow children to play with the Coro
shield or the Coro charging and
storage pod.
Avoiding damage to the device
WARNING!
Do not use microwaves,
heat sterilizers, dishwashers, washing
machines, boiling water,
bleach/cleaning agents or use any
cleaning instruments on the shield.
WARNING!
Never use water or damp
cloths to clean the charging pins on
the Coro charging and storage pod as
water can damage the electronics
inside.
Store the device away from
temperature extremes and out of direct
sunlight.
If the device stops responding and will
not connect, it is possible that the
internal battery has discharged.
Return the device to the charging pod
and allow it to charge via USB before
attempting reconnection.
Start a feeding session

If not already on, enable the
Bluetooth on your phone.

Remove the Coro shield from the
charging and storage pod (this
activates Bluetooth on the device).
If any connection issue arises,
return the Coro shield to the
charging and storage pod and retry.

Apply the nipple-shield section of
the device to the breast in
accordance with professional
advice.

Open the Coro app, select either
left or right breast.

Commence feeding as normal. If
you are switching breasts, simply
press the other breast button.

When your feeding session is
finished, press the Stop button.

Remove the Coro shield from
your feeding breast.

After each feed, wash the Coro
shield according to our cleaning
Coro guidelines.

When dry, return the Coro nipple
shield into its charging and
storage pod.
The Coro shield and its charging and storage
pod are made of different materials and
contain electronics which cannot be removed
prior to disposal.
Do not discard the device into the household
waste; instead follow the disposal guidelines
of your local collection system for electronic
equipment (including batteries).
WARNING! The battery is not
user-replaceable and no attempt
should be made to open or modify
the device in case of a suspected
battery issue. Please return the unit
to Coroflo in this case.
WARNING!
In the event the battery
is removed KEEP OUT OF REACH
OF CHILDREN. Swallowing may lead
to serious injury or death in as little
as 2 hours due to chemical burns
and potential perforation of the
oesophagus.
WARNING!
The Coro shield and its
charging and storage pod must be
inspected prior to each use. Do not
use the device if there is any visible
sign of damage since this may
cause injuries. If you notice any
cracking or clouding of the silicone
area discontinue use and return the
unit to Coroflo.
WARNING!
Do not attempt to open
or repair Coro yourself, return the
unit to Coroflo instead. No
modifications to the device are
permitted.
WARNING!
Charge Coro in
accordance with the instructions
provided. Only use the USB cable
provided in the box or a USB cable,
smartphone, computer, powered
hub or power supply that is certified
by a recognized testing laboratory.
WARNING!
If you have any trouble
using the device or if you experience
any malfunction immediately
discontinue use and return the unit
to Coroflo.
Coro has passed the consumer product
safety requirements and attained the CE &
UKCA Marks, declaring conformity to the
requirements of applicable Directives.
It has passed independent food-contact
testing.
It has passed electromagnetic safety testing
and it is equipped with a Bluetooth Low
Energy radio transceiver.
All the materials used for the production of
the Coro shield and its charging and storage
pod are food-contact safe, latex free, and
BPA free.

Warranty
Coro and its charging and storage pod are
backed by a Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty
against any defects in materials and/or
workmanship for two (2) years from the date of
original purchase, provided that the product
has been used in accordance with the
information provided in the product
documentation and that all operating and
maintenance instructions are strictly
respected.
No person or entity is authorised to make any
other warranty on behalf of Coroflo.
This Limited Warranty only applies to this
product and does not cover other hardware
not supplied in the Coro box.
This Limited Warranty also does not apply in
the case of:
1. Cosmetic deterioration or damage caused
by normal wear and tear included aging of
materials (such as discolouration or
stretching).
2. Damage caused by failure to follow the
instructions for use provided by Coroflo;
3. Use of improper voltage or power supply for
charging;
4. Use of the device with, or connecting it to,
any product, accessory, software or service
not manufactured or supplied by Coroflo;
Please note that, for reasons of hygiene,
Coro is meant to be used with one baby only;
use by more than one person will invalidate
this warranty.
Coroflo does not assume any responsibility
or liability associated with or for the use of
Coro. Coroflo reserves the right to revise
and/or update this document without
notification to the user.
Coroflo must be notified of any defective
device. If a defect is found in your Coro you
must contact Coroflo within the product
Limited Warranty period. When a valid claim
is received, Coroflo will reserve the right to
decide whether to replace or to repair the
defective product at no charge (shipping and
handling charges may apply). The duration of
this Limited Warranty will not be extended if a
repaired/replaced product is received. This
Limited Warranty is valid only when Coro is
sold by Coroflo or through its authorised
resellers.
To obtain warranty service, you must ship the
device in its original packaging, or in other
packaging providing adequate protection, to
the address specified by Coroflo. All claims
must be supported by evidence of the defect
found and with proof of date of purchase.

Coroflo will not be responsible for any
damage which may arise after replacing your
device.
5. Accidental, physical or natural destruction,
misuse, neglect or other external causes;
6. Damage caused by service by anyone
except a Coroflo representative;
7. Any attempt being made to open or modify
Coro or its charging and storage pod (such
as to alter its functionality or capability);
8. The serial number on the device being
removed, erased, defaced, altered, or
rendered illegible in any way;
9. Refusal to return the unit to Coroflo for
repair and investigation.
