Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used
by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater
is left operating and unattended.
CAUTION: This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way
in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to compromise
this safety feature. To do so could result in an electrical
shock hazard.
CAUTION: It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the
touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet and
plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug.
Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn
outlet.
CAUTION: Always plug heaters directly into a wall
outlet. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable
power tap (outlet/power strip).

This heater is hot when in use. To avoid bums, do not
let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, always use
handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.
Always unplug the heater when not in use.
Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or
plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any manner.Discard heater, or
return heater to an authorized service facility for
examination,
electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
Do not use the heater outdoors.
This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container.
Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord
with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not
route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord
away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped
over.
This heater draws 12.5 amps during operation. To
prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater
into a circuit that already has other appliances working.
To disconnect the heater, first turn controls to the 0
position, then remove plug from outlet. Never pull by
the cord.

Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do
not use it in the areas where gasoline, paint, or
flammable liquids are used or stored.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
The output of this heater may vary and its temperature
may become intense enough to bum exposed skin. Use
of this heater is not recommended for persons with
reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to react to
avoid bums.
Don’t leave the heater on unattended.
To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like
a bed, where openings may become blocked.
Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of
hyperthermia include high body temperature,
headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness,
fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience
symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater
and seek medical
attention.
To avoid excessive room temperatures which can
cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave product running
unattended in a confined space around infants, or
individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the heater on a firm, level surface free from obstructions, and at least 3 ft.
(0.9m) away from any wall or combustible material.
• With the Power and Setting Control in the 0 position, plug the heater into a 120V
outlet. Always operate the heater in the upright position.
• To turn the heater on, while turning the Power and Setting Control to the desired
position ( 1 for 500W 2 for 1000W 3 for 1500W ).
• When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat
Control counter-clockwise until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the
thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the thermostat will
automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.
• Turn the Power and Setting Control to 0 and unplug the heater when you finish using
it.
NOTE
There is 1 heating tube illuminating at setting 1 and are 2 heating tubes illuminating at
setting 2 and 3 heating tubes illuminating at setting 3.
NOTE
The Safety Protect Bar will be hot while the heater is in use. Do not use it as a carrying
handle. Please use the carry handle in the rear cover when moving the heater.
You may notice vibration/noise coming from the grill and the interior quartz tubes when
the heaters turned on. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A NORMAL AND SAFE OPERATION.
Once the quartz heating element has warmed, the vibration/noise will go away.
Safety off Switch: This heater is equipped with an automatic Safety Shut off Switch for
overheat protection, which is activated when the internal temperature exceeds normal
operating temperatures. If this occurs, turn the heater to “0”. Unplug the heater and
allow it to cool. Inspect and carefully remove any objects on or adjacent to the heater.
Plug the heater back in and resume normal operation.
Tip Over Switch: This heater includes a Safety Tip-Over Protection Feature which will
shut the heater off in case it is tipped over. If, at any time, the heater does tip over, put
the heater back in the upright position. The heater will resume its normal operation.
If the unit shuts down please operate as follows.
1. Turn the unit off

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• Clean your heater using the above-mentioned steps, then pack the heater in its original
container and store it in a cool dry place.
• This heater does not disassemble.
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and before off season
storage.

Incorrect operation of your appliance can lead to errors and malfunctions. The following
tables contain possible causes and notes for resolving an error message or malfunction.
It is recommended to read the table below carefully in order to save your time and
money that may cost for calling to the service center.
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is
working.
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction turn the
heater OFF. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes
for it to cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the
heater back in and restart it as described under OPERATION.
• If you still notice the same defect above mentioned, remove
the plug from the socket and have the appliance serviced by
authorized service personnel only.

• Ubique el calentador en una superficie firme y nivelada donde o haya obstáculos, a
una distancia de 0.9 m como mínimo de las paredes y otros objetos como muebles,
cortinas, plantas o materiales combustibles.
• Con el Control de Encendido y posició n “ 0 ” en laposición,enchufe el calentador en
un tomacorriente con descarga a tierra de 120 Voltios.
• Encienda el calentador girando el encendido y el control de ajuste en el sentido de las
manecillas del reloj en el ajuste de encendido que desee ( 1-500W 2-1000W 3-1500W ).
• Cuando la temperatura de la habitación se alcanza cómodamente, por favor gira el
Control de Termostato contra la dirección de la aguja del reloj para apagar el
calentador.
Es un punto donde el termostato se configura para igualar la temperatura de la
habitación.
En el punto de configuración, el termostato encenderá o apagará el calentador
automáticamente para mantener la temperatura seleccionada.
• Encienda e 1 calentador girando el encendido y el control de ajuste a la 0 y des
enchufe el calentador cuando termine de usarlo.
NOTA
Un tubo de cuarzo se ilumina en el equipo 1 y dos tubo de cuarzo son iluminados en el
equipo 2 de cuarzo son iluminados en el euipo 3.
NOTA

Este calentador está equipado con un interruptor de seguridad de cierre automático de
protección contra sobrecalentamiento, que se activa cuando la temperatura interna
supera la temperatura normal de funcionamiento. Si esto ocurre, apague el calentador a
“ 0 ”. Desenchufe el calentador y deje que se enfríe. Inspeccione y retire con cuidado
cualquier objeto en o adyacente al calentador. Enchufe el calentador de nuevo y
reanude el funcionamiento normal.
Interruptor de Vuelco: Este calentador incluye una Función de Seguridad de Protección
contra Vuelco que apagará el calentador en caso de que se vuelque.
Si, en cualquier momento, el calentador se vuelca, ponga el calentador en la posición
vertical. El calentador reanudará su funcionamiento normal.

• Apague y desenchufe el calentador. Déjelo enfriar.
• Utilice un trao seco para limpiar las superficies exteriora del radiador.
NO LTIICE AGUA, CERA, LUSTRADOR O CUALQUIER OTRO RODUCTO QUÍMICO.
• Limpie el calentador siguiendo los pasos descriptos anteriormente. Luego, empaque el
calentador en su.
• Contenedor original y guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco.
Recomendamos limpiar el calentador al menos una vez al mes y antes de guardarlo al
fhal de la temporada.

• Verifique que no haya obstrucciones. Si encuentra una
obstrucción, apague el calentador, desench úfelo y espere
almenos 10 minutos hasta que se enfríe. Luego,quite
cuidadosamente la obstrucción, enchufe nuevamente el
calentador y vuelva a encenderlo tal como se describe bajo el
subtítulo INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO.
• Si no logra hacer funcionar el calentador, quite el enchufe del
tomacorriente y hágalo revisar únicamente por personal de
servicio autorizado.
• Asegúrese de que esté enchufado y que el tomacorriente esté
funcionando.
