SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Ensure that servicing is done by factory
authorized service personnel, to minimize
product damage or safety issues.

appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear
of obstruction.
WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other
means to accelerate the defrosting process, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside
the food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) whose physical, sensory or
mental capabilities may be different or reduced,
or who lack experience or knowledge, unless such
persons receive supervision or training to operate
the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. Grounding
reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an
escape wire for the electrical current.
This appliance has a cord that has a grounding
wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be
plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded.
If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be
replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall
outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage
and frequency the appliance is designed for.
WARNING - Improper use of the grounding
plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualifi ed electrician or service agent
if the grounding instructions are not completely
understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the
appliance is properly grounded.
Do not connect your appliance to extension
cords or together with another appliance in the
same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord.
Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the
third ground prong from the power cord. Do not
use extension cords or ungrounded (two prongs)
adapters.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similar qualifi ed person in order to avoid hazard.

This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as
•
working environments;
• farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and
other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments;
• catering and similar non-retail applications.
NOTE If the manufacturer wants to limit the use of the
appliance to less than the above, this has to be clearly
stated in the instructions.

• This appliance is 27.95 inches (71.0 cm) wide
by 68.03 inches (172.8 cm) high by 27.89 inches
(70.85 cm) deep. Make sure that you leave
the minimum amount of space between the
appliance and all surrounding walls and vents.
Do not cover any of the ventilation openings
with any material as the appliance needs
adequate space to breathe.
• Allow 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space between the
back, sides and top of the appliance and all
adjacent walls.

The control panel default mode is unlocked. Press
and hold the °F/ °C button for 3 seconds to lock
or unlock the control panel manually.

Sabbath Mode
To activate Sabbath Mode, press and hold the “MODE” button for 5 seconds, “SA” will be displayed
and kept displayed in low brightness.
When the appliance is in Sabbath Mode, the appliance will continue to cool according to the mode and
temperature previously set by user, the interior light will turn off and stay off, the buttons do not function,
all error codes and alarm signals will not appear.
To deactivate Sabbath Mode, press and hold the “MODE” button again for 5 seconds.
"FRIDGE": 32°F ~ 46°F (0°C ~ 8°C)
"SUBZERO": 18°F ~ 25°F (-8°C ~ 4°C)
"FREEZE": -11°F ~ 7°F (-24°C ~-14°C)
"FAST FREEZE": -18°F (-28°C)
NOTE
Once it is activated manually, the Sabbath Mode will be deactivated automatically after 80 hours.
If the appliance powers off and restarts (for example, if there is a power failure), the Sabbath Mode
remains active.

DOOR REVERSAL INSTRUCTIONS
If the appliance is placed on its back or side for any length of time during this process, it must be allowed to
remain upright for 6 hours before plugging it in to avoid damage to the internal components.
WARNING: Before door reversal, make sure to unplug the unit and place the door face up. To avoid
personal and property damage, replace the door with two persons. It is suggested to replace the door by
authorized service personnel. Please keep the removed parts for the door reversal and close the door tightly.
STEP1: Replace top door hinge STEP2: Replace bottom door hinge
1. Remove the hinge cover and hinge by
removing screws at the top right corner of the
cabinet. Open the wire cover at the door,
disconnect the wiring connector from cabinet and
close the wire cover.
2. Remove the decorative cover at the top left
corner of the cabinet and assemble it at the right
side. Open the wire cover at the top left of the
door.
3. From the accessory bag, take out hinge and
hinge cover. Assemble the hinge firstly, the
terminal of the wiring, the hinge cover and close
the wire cover.
Finally, check whether the two sides of the door are in line with the cabinet. If necessary, adjust the leveling
feet in the front of the unit so that the product is completely horizontal. After replacing the door, place the
unit vertically and let it stand for 6 hours before power on.
1. Remove four bolts and bottom hinge. Unscrew
the door shaft nut, move the door shaft to the left
hinge and tighten, and remove 4 cap nails of the
other end.
2. Remove the door limit block on the right of the
door and then assemble it to the left end of the
door and fix it.
3. Assemble the bottom hinge where the hinge
shaft has been replaced on the left of cabinet with
four screws and tighten it. Plug the four holes at
the right with cap nails.

CLEANING
Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
• To clean the inside of the appliance, use a soft
cloth and a solution of a tablespoon of baking
soda to one quart of water or a mild soap
solution or some mild detergent.
• Wash removable shelves in a mild detergent
solution, then dry and wipe with a soft cloth.
• Clean the outside with a soft, damp cloth and
some mild detergent.
• It is important to keep the area clean where the
door seals against the cabinet. Clean this area
with a soapy cloth. Rinse with a damp cloth and
let dry.
Note: Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or
alcohol on the appliance. Ammonia or alcohol can
damage the appearance of the appliance. Never
use any commercial or abrasive cleaners or sharp
objects on any part of the appliance.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within a few
hours and should not affect the temperature of your
appliance if you minimize the number of times the
door is opened. If the power is going to be off for
a longer period of time, take the proper steps to
protect your contents.
Note: Wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting
to restart the refrigerator if operation has been
interrupted.
DEFROST
This unit is equipped with an automatic defrost
function and does not require manual defrosting.
Defrost water from the appliance is channeled into
a drip tray located above the compressor. Heat
transfer from the compressor causes the defrost
water to evaporate.

VACATION
• Short vacations: Leave the appliance operating
during vacations of less than three weeks.
• Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used
for several months, remove all items and turn
off the appliance. Clean and dry the interior
thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth,
leave the door open slightly, blocking it open if
necessary.
ENERGY SAVING TIP
The appliance should be located in the coolest area
of the room, away from heat producing appliances,
and out of direct sunlight. Do not overload the unit
or block any ventilation openings.
MOVING
• Remove all items.
• Tape the door shut.
• Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright
position during transportation. Also protect the
outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar
item.
• If the appliance is placed on its back or side
during transportation, upon reaching the
destination, allow it to remain in its operating
position for 6 hours to avoid damage to internal
components.
DISPOSAL
This appliance may not be treated as regular
household waste, it should be taken to the
appropriate waste collection point for recycling
of electrical components. For information on local
waste collection points, contact your local waste
removal agency or government offi ce.

Element Appliance Limited Warranty
(the “Products
” or “Product” when referencing a singular product herein)
This Product (including any accessories included in the original packaging) as supplied and distributed in
new condition, is warranted by Element Appliance Company, LLC ("Element
") to the original customer
who purchases the Product from an authorized Element retailer (the “Original Customer
” or “you”)
against defects in material and workmanship under proper use, maintenance, and care according to the
owner’s manual, warnings, and instructions accompanying the Product (“Warranty
”) as follows:
* PLEASE NOTE – Proof of purchase evidencing the date of purchase by the Original Purchaser from an
authorized Element retailer (“Valid Proof of Purchase
”) is required for all Warranty service. The express
Warranty set forth herein is subject to all terms and conditions set forth below.
1. WARRANTY SERVICE:
A. ONE-YEAR WARRANTY: Except as provided in subpart 1 .B below, for a period of one (1)
year from the date of purchase by the Original Customer (the “Warranty Period
”), if the parts or
components covered by this Warranty are determined by Element or Element’s authorized service
provider to be defective in material or workmanship, Element will, at its sole and absolute discretion
and option: (i) repair the defective part or component at no charge to the Original Customer, (ii) replace
the defective Product with a new Product of similar or better quality, at no charge to the Original
Customer, or (iii) refund the documented purchase pri
ce paid by the Original Customer (excluding tax)
to the Original Customer upon return of the defective Product as directed by Element. After the
Warranty Period expires, the Original Customer must pay for all parts, components, shipping and
handling, labor, and replacement costs associated with the Product or any part or component thereof,
regardless of any defects in the Product or any part or component thereof.
B. LIMITED EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH PRODUCT REGISTRATI
ON: If and only if the
Original Customer registers the Product at www.elementelectronics.com
within ninety (90) days of the
date of purchase by the Original Customer, then the Warranty Period discussed in subpart 1.A. above
shall be extended an additional one (1) year to a new Warranty Period equaling two (2) years from the
date of purchase by the Original Customer. If the Product is not registered as provided for in this
subpart 1.B, then the standard one-year Warranty Period set forth in subpart 1.A shall apply.
C. TIMING AND PROCEDURE: Before Warranty service can co
mmence, the Original
Customer must contact either (i) the retailer from whom the Original Customer purchased the Product,
or (ii) Element directly, in either case for problem determination and service procedures. Valid P roof of
Purchase evidencing that the Product is within the Warranty Period MUST
be presented by Original
Customer in order to obtain the requested Warranty service. Please have your model and serial number
available, along with your date of purchase of the Product. To remain eligible for Warranty service,
Original Customer may not return the Product or any part or component thereof to the retailer or
Element without Element’s prior written consent.

2. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS TO WARRANTY SERVICE
The Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the Product encountered
in the normal, non-commercial use of the Product, and does not cover (a) damages or malfunctions
resulting from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, abuse, negligence, failure to follow
instructions contained in any written materials that accompany the Product, deterioration by reason of
excess moisture, corrosive atmosphere, lightning, power surges, connections to improper voltage supply,
unauthorized alteration, or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity,
modifications, scratches or discoloration; (b) any damage caused by using non-authorized parts or
service facilities for repair of Products (however, for avoidance of doubt, using non-authorized parts or
service facilities will not, in and of itself, void the Warranty); (c) transportation, shipping, delivery, pickup,
insurance, installation, or set-up costs; (d) ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or damage due to
acts of nature, including but not limited to, water, floods, wind, storm, tornado, earthquake, or fire, or
due to damage caused by extraordinary impact events, such as dropping, crushing, demolition or other
extraordinary damage; (e) commercial use of the Product, or use of the Product for anything other than
single-family household or residential use; or (f) modification of the Product or any part of the Product.
This Warranty is made to the Original Customer only and does not cover Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL
FAULTS. The Warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from
the Product. This Warranty is valid only in the United States, and only applies to Product if it was
purchased and serviced in the United States. The addition of equipment or features to the Product that
are not manufactured or recommended by Element could affect the intended function of the Product,
and therefore m ay void the Warranty. Furthermore, the exposure of the Product to chemicals, heat,
cold, humidity, or other elements can affect the Product components, and therefore, the Warranty does
not cover discoloration, fading, cosmetic changes, rust, or any damages or failure related to any such
items. The Warranty is contingent upon the proper use, maintenance, and care of the Product. The
Warranty may be void if the Product has been used in a manner contradictory to, or in violation of, the
terms of the user’s manual, warnings, or instructions accompanying the Product.
THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR GENERAL USE, WHETHER EXPRESS,
IMPLIED, COLLATERAL, STATUTORY, OR PROVIDED BY COMMON LAW, THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL
CODE, OR OTHERWISE. ELEMENT FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER THE END OF THE
WARRANTY TERM DEFINED ABOVE. NO OTHER E XPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY
OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT T O THE PRODUCT SHALL BE B INDING ON ELEMENT.
REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE, AT ELEMENT’S SOLE
DISCRETION, ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES OF THE CUSTOMER.
ELEMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE
USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT. THESE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, ANY
DAMAGES IN THE FORM OF LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, LEGAL FEES, ECONOMIC LOSS, PE RSONAL
INJURIES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF
ELEMENT. NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, ELEMENT’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO ANY
CUSTOMER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. T HIS WARRANTY
SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED THE

PRODUCT, AND IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO A L TER, EXTEND, OR WAIVE
THIS WARRANTY OR ANY OF ITS TERMS OR CONDITIONS.
Some states do not allow the e x clusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow
limitations on warranties, so the above limit ations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty
gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. The exclusions
and limitations to the Warranty apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and unless restricted or
prohibited by law. Where any term of this Warranty is prohibited by applicable law, it shall be null and
void, but the remainder of this Warranty shall remain in effect.
