When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons or property. Read all instructions
before using this ice maker.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To minimize potential hazards, be sure to read the following precautions carefully
before installation and use.
Do not operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord. If the
supply cord is damaged, contact customer service.
Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat insulators. Do not
cover the cord, and keep cord away from traffic areas
Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or making any repairs or servicing.
Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when appliance is used
near children.
Do not use the ice makers outdoors.
Do not upend this product or incline it over a 45° angle or tip over.
If the ice maker is brought in from outside in wintertime, give it a few hours
to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
The ice maker must be plugged into a three-hole socket with a grounding
wire when in use. Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into the receptacle.
Do not use outdoors or in extreme environments (high heat, ultra-low
temperatures, etc.)
Do not plug and unplug the power supply with wet hands.
Do not use the ice maker next to high heat sources such as ovens and
cookers.

Do not attempt to modify or add any parts.
Do not pour water on cord, plug and ventilation, immerse the appliance in
water or any other liquid.
⚠ WARNING
Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in
structure, clear of obstruction.
Ensure the voltage is compliant with the voltage range stated on the rating
label, and ensure the earthing of the socket is in good condition.
When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or
damaged.
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting
process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of
the appliance, unless recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant in this appliance.
Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies
at the rear of the appliance.
Do not switch on the power button frequently (ensure at least 5 minutes)
to avoid the damage of compressor.
When disposing of the appliance, do so only at an authorized waste
disposal center. Do not expose to a flame.
Do not use other liquid to make the ice-cube other than water.
Component parts shall be replaced with only recommended parts and that
servicing shall be done by qualified persons so as to minimize the risk of
possible ignition due to incorrect parts or improper service.

CAUTION: Risk of fire / Flammable materials.
• The refrigerant isobutene (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the
appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is
nevertheless flammable.
• During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure that none of the
components of the refrigerant circuit becomes damaged. If the refrigerant circuit
should be damaged:
o Avoid open flames and sources of ignition
o Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the ice maker is situated.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as
o staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
o farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
o bed and breakfast type environments.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
UNPACKING YOUR ICE MAKER
1. During transportation, do not tilt the machine more than 45 degrees, do not
reverse the machine. This may damage the compressor and refrigerant system.
2. Remove all packaging material and check to make sure that there is no damage to
the ice maker or power cord. If the power supply cord is damaged, please contact
customer service.
3. Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
4. Do not use your ice maker outdoors. Place the ice maker on a level surface away
from direct sunlight. Keep away from the oven, radiator, or other heat sources.
5. Make sure that there is at least 6 inches of space between the back and sides of
your ice maker with the wall to ensure good ventilation.
6. Allow at least 2 hours for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in your ice
maker. The power plug must be accessible directly.
WARNING: Fill with potable water only. Only use drinking water.
NOTE: All Ice Makers are fully tested to ensure that all functions are operating normally
before shipment. If there are a few residual water droplets or moisture inside the
machine, it is considered normal.
⚠ DANGER
Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power
cord is damaged, please call our customer service.
1. This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this
appliance is equipped with a grounding plug which mates with standard grounding
wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electric shock.
2. Plug your appliance into an exclusive, properly installed, grounding wall outlet. Do
not under any circumstances; damage the grounding means of the plug. Any
questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a
certified electrician.
3. This appliance requires a standard 110-120V, 60Hz electrical outlet with good
grounding means.

CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS

OPERATING YOUR ICE MAKER
Making Ice
1. Open lid and remove the ice basket.
2. Add water to the reservoir up to the MAX mark and place the ice basket back.
Should water exceed this marking during the ice making process, your ice will
partially be submerged in water causing it to melt quicker.
3. Make sure your ice maker is plugged into power and press the button to start
making ice. The POWER light will turn on. Press it again to stop making ice and
enter standby mode. The POWER light will now blink intermittently. You can also
hold this button for 3 seconds to enter rinsing mode.
Rinsing Mode
Press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds to enter rinsing mode. The light
will flash in the order of POWER>ICE FULL> ADD WATER. In rinsing mode, water will
circulate from the reservoir to the evaporator prongs back into the reservoir. This
process will repeat for 5 cycles.
NOTE: When the ice basket is full, remove and use ice. Ice will melt into the reservoir if
not used immediately. When pressing the button to stop making ice. Allow 3-5 minutes
before starting an ice cycle again.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Clean the ice maker before using it for the first time or after a long period of time. It is
recommended to have regular cleaning and maintenance according to the local water
quality and actual use.
Use solvent-based cleaning agents to clean, otherwise, it may cause damage or harmful
substance residues; do not rinse the ice maker with water, use a damp cloth to wipe the
inside and outside.
• Unplug the appliance after using or before cleaning.
• Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire
hazard or explosion.
• Never clean with scouring powders or hard implements.
CLEANING & USE GUIDANCE
Follow these cleaning instructions to make sure your ice maker is clear of mineral
deposits and the longevity of your ice maker is maintained.
For disinfectant, use water with either vinegar or citric acid (10:1 ratio).
1. Clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water tank and ice shovel frequently. When
cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice. Use the diluted solution of water and
vinegar/citric acid to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Rinse
thoroughly before using.
2. Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure clear of obstruction. Do not
use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.

3. To ensure the cleanness of ice, please change water for water reservoir at least once
per day. If not using for a long time, please drain the water out and clean it up.
4. If the compressor does not work due to lack of water, ice full or power failure, it will
delay for 3 minutes to start up after restarted.
5. Always use potable water before starting ice production either at initial installation
or after a long shut-off period.
6. Remove the ice basket and filter cover from the water tank in turn, clean the filter
cover with clean water with a brush, and then put it back in place.
Note: For best hygienic practices, do not leave water in the reservoir for over 24 hours.
If the unit is not to be used for a while, drain all the water & dry the reservoir.

Dispose of this ice maker’s material in accordance with national regulations.

LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
This appliance is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. For one year from the
original date of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace any parts of this
appliance that prove to be defective in materials and workmanship, provided the
appliance has been used under normal operating conditions as intended by the
manufacturer.
Warranty Terms:
During the first year, any components of this appliance found to be defective due to
materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced, at the manufacturer’s discretion,
at no charge to the original purchaser. The purchaser will be responsible for any
removal or transportation costs.
Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by any of the following:
• Power failure
• Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
• Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective household wiring or
inadequate fuses
• Accident, alteration, misuse, or abuse of the appliance such as using non-
approved accessories, inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal
operating conditions (extreme temperatures)
• Use in commercial or industrial applications.
• Use of force or damage caused by external influences.
• Partially or completely dismantled appliances
• Excess wear and tear by the user
Obtaining Service:
When making a warranty claim, please have the original bill of purchase with the
purchase date available. Once confirmed that your appliance is eligible for warranty
service, all repairs will be performed by a Newair™ authorized repair facility. The
purchaser will be responsible for any removal or transportation costs. Replacement
parts and/or units will be new, re-manufactured or refurbished and is subject to the

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
DESEMPAQUE DE LA MÁQUINA DE HIELO
1. Durante el transporte, no incline la máquina más de 45 grados ni la invierta. Esto
puede dañar el compresor y el sistema de refrigeración.
2. Retire todo el material de embalaje y verifique que no haya daños en la máquina
de hielo ni en el cable de alimentación. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado,
comuníquese con el servicio de atención al cliente.
3. Limpie el interior con agua tibia y un paño suave.
4. No utilice la máquina de hielo al aire libre. Coloque la máquina de hielo sobre una
superficie nivelada, alejada de la luz solar directa. Manténgala alejada del horno, el
radiador u otras fuentes de calor.
5. Asegúrese de que haya al menos 6 pulgadas de espacio entre la parte posterior y
los lados de la máquina de hielo y la pared para garantizar una buena ventilación.
6. Espere al menos 2 horas para que el líquido refrigerante se asiente antes de
enchufar la máquina de hielo. El enchufe de alimentación debe ser accesible
directamente.
ADVERTENCIA: Llénelo únicamente con agua potable. Utilice únicamente agua potable.
NOTA: Todas las máquinas para fabricar hielo se prueban completamente para
garantizar que todas las funciones funcionen con normalidad antes del envío. Si quedan
algunas gotas de agua o humedad residuales dentro de la máquina, se considera
normal.
⚠ PELIGRO
El uso inadecuado del enchufe con toma de tierra puede provocar riesgo de descarga
eléctrica. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, llame a nuestro servicio de atención
al cliente.
1. Esta unidad debe estar correctamente conectada a tierra para su seguridad. El
cable de alimentación de este aparato está equipado con un enchufe con conexión
a tierra que se acopla a las tomas de corriente de pared estándar con conexión a
tierra para minimizar la posibilidad de descarga eléctrica.
2. Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente de pared exclusiva, correctamente
instalada y con conexión a tierra. Bajo ninguna circunstancia dañe el medio de
conexión a tierra del enchufe. Cualquier pregunta relacionada con la alimentación
o la conexión a tierra debe dirigirse a un electricista certificado.
Este aparato requiere una toma de corriente estándar de 110-120 V, 60 Hz con un buen
medio de conexión a tierra.

CÓMO OPERAR SU MÁQUINA DE HIELO
Fabricación de hielo
1. Abra la tapa y retire la cesta de hielo.
2. Agregue agua al depósito hasta la marca MAX y vuelva a colocar la canasta de
hielo. Si el agua excede esta marca durante el proceso de fabricación de hielo, el
hielo quedará parcialmente sumergido en agua, lo que hará que se derrita más
rápido.
3. Asegúrese de que su máquina de hielo esté enchufada a la corriente y presione el
botón para comenzar a fabricar hielo. La luz de POWER se encenderá.
Presiónelo nuevamente para dejar de fabricar hielo y entrar en el modo de espera.
La luz de ENCENDIDO parpadeará de manera intermitente. También puede
mantener presionado este botón durante 3 segundos para ingresar al modo de
enjuague.
Modo de enjuague
Mantenga presionado el botón durante al menos 3 segundos para ingresar al modo
de enjuague. La luz parpadeará en el orden POWER>ICE FULL>ADD WATER. En el modo
de enjuague, el agua circulará desde el depósito hasta las puntas del evaporador y
regresará al depósito. Este proceso se repetirá durante 5 ciclos.
NOTA: Cuando la canasta de hielo esté llena, retírela y use hielo. El hielo se derretirá en
el depósito si no se usa inmediatamente. Al presionar el botón para detener la
producción de hielo, espere de 3 a 5 minutos antes de comenzar un ciclo de hielo
nuevamente.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Limpie la máquina de hielo antes de usarla por primera vez o después de un largo
período de tiempo. Se recomienda realizar una limpieza y un mantenimiento regulares
de acuerdo con la calidad del agua local y el uso real.
Utilice agentes de limpieza a base de solventes para limpiar, de lo contrario, puede
causar daños o residuos de sustancias nocivas; no enjuague la máquina de hielo con
agua, use un paño húmedo para limpiar el interior y el exterior.
● Desconecte el aparato después de usarlo o antes de limpiarlo.
● No limpie la máquina de hielo con líquidos inflamables. Los vapores pueden provocar
un incendio o una explosión.
● Nunca limpie con detergentes abrasivos ni con objetos duros.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y USO
Siga estas instrucciones de limpieza para asegurarse de que su máquina de hielo esté
libre de depósitos minerales y se mantenga su larga vida útil.
Como desinfectante, utilice agua con vinagre o ácido cítrico (proporción 10:1).
1. Limpie con frecuencia el revestimiento interior, la bandeja recolectora de hielo, el
tanque de agua y la pala para hielo. Al limpiar, desenchufe la unidad y retire el hielo.
Use la solución diluida de agua y vinagre/ácido cítrico para limpiar la superficie
interior y exterior de la máquina de hielo. Enjuague bien antes de usar.
2. Mantenga las aberturas de ventilación en el gabinete del aparato libres de
obstrucciones. No use dispositivos mecánicos ni otros medios para acelerar el
proceso de descongelación, excepto los recomendados por el fabricante.

3. Para garantizar la limpieza del hielo, cambie el agua del depósito de agua al menos
una vez al día. Si no lo usa durante un tiempo prolongado, drene el agua y límpielo.
4. Si el compresor no funciona debido a la falta de agua, porque tiene mucho hielo o
porque falla la energía, demorará 3 minutos en encenderse después de reiniciarlo.
5. Siempre use agua potable antes de comenzar a producir hielo, ya sea en la
instalación inicial o después de un período prolongado de apagado.
6. Retire la canasta de hielo y la cubierta del filtro del tanque de agua, limpie la
cubierta del filtro con agua limpia con un cepillo y luego vuelva a colocarla en su
lugar.
Nota: Para una mejor higiene, no deje agua en el depósito durante más de 24 horas. Si
no va a utilizar la unidad durante un tiempo, vacíe toda el agua y seque el depósito.

GARANTIA DEL FABRICANTE
Este aparato está cubierto por una garantía limitada del fabricante. Durante un año a
partir de la fecha original de compra, el fabricante reparará o reemplazará cualquier
pieza de este electrodoméstico que demuestre tener defectos de materiales y mano de
obra, siempre que el electrodoméstico se haya utilizado en las condiciones de
funcionamiento normales previstas por el fabricante.

la fecha de compra. Una vez confirmado que su electrodoméstico es elegible para el
