The Bluetooth PTT handlebar remote can be mounted to handlebars to
allow a rider to initiate a radio transmission without taking their hands
off the handlebars while riding or stopped.
Note: The Bluetooth PTT handlebar remote functionality does not
require a helmet communication systems connection to work.
1. The blue light on the Bluetooth PTT handlebar remote button will
flash twice a second to indicate there is no connection
2. Essure the SQUAD BT radio Bluetooth functionality is enabled by
confirming the Bluetooth icon on the SQUAD BT radio is displayed:
a. if the Bluetooth icon is not displayed. short press the power
button once to turn on the Bluetooth function
3. Short press the Bluetooth PTT handlebar remote button to
connect-the first connection may take a few seconds
4. The PTT handlebar remote button will switch to flashing blue once
every five seconds to indicate it is connected
5. If there is any trouble connecting, simply turn the SQUAD BT radio
Bluetooth function off and then back on again by short pressing
the power button. This disables power saving mode which prevents
connections.
