3. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the button once to power on the device.
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds* to power it off.
Brightness Adjustment
While the device is on, press the button once to switch between
two brightness levels.
Temperature Unit Switch
Quickly double-press the button to toggle between Celsius (°C)
and Fahrenheit (°F).
TVOC & HCHO Sensor Warm-Up
Upon powering on, please place the device outdoors in a clean,
fresh-air environment.
The TVOC and HCHO sensors will automatically perform a 120
-second warm-up calibration.
Once the countdown is complete, you may bring the devic
indoors for accurate testing.
Note: Each time the device is restarted, TVOC and HCHO readings
will reset and require the same outdoor preheating process.
4. Precautions
Avoid Water and Dust
Do not expose the device to water or use it in environments with
heavy dust.
Temperature Limitations
Do not place the device in high-temperature environments
exceeding 55°C/131°F. Avoid direct sunlight exposure, especially
when measuring airquality inside a vehicle.
Do Not Disassemble
This product is a precision measurement instrument. Do no
attempt to disassemble or modify it.
Charging Temperature Effects
During charging, internal circuitry and battery heat may cause
the displayed temperature to read 3°C to 5°C (5°F to 9°F) higher
than actual.
Ensure Accurate Temperature Readings
For accurate temperature readings, allow the device to cool
down for a short period after charging before taking
measurements.
Storage for Long-Term Inactivity
If the device will not be used for an extended period, fully charge
it, power it off, and store it in a safe place.
Formaldehyde Sensor Interference
The formaldehyde (HCHO) sensor uses a professional MEMS
module.It may also detect gases with molecular structures
similar to formaldehyde, leading to potential interference.
Common interfering substances include, but are not limited to:
alcohol, cooking wine, vinegar, perfume, cologne, skincare
products, and acidic fruits. For best results, avoid testing in
environments containing such substances.
