About Your DryPod
What is a DryPod?
DryPod is designed to help reduce excess moisture in small enclosed spaces such
as wardrobes, cupboards, bathrooms, cars, caravans, drawers, and storage areas.
As the silica gel absorbs moisture from the air, it can help reduce dampness,
condensation, musty odours, and moisture damage to stored items.
Once saturated, simply place the unit onto the drying base to restore and reuse it.
Important: DryPod is designed for small enclosed spaces only. It is not intended to
dry whole rooms, large bathrooms, or areas with ongoing leaks or excessive
humidity.
What are Silica Beads?
DryPod works by using silica gel beads to absorb moisture from the air. Silica gel is
a highly absorbent material that attracts and holds water vapour.
When placed in an enclosed space, air naturally passes through the unit, and the
silica beads begin pulling moisture from the surrounding air. As the beads absorb
moisture, they gradually change colour, indicating they are full and need to be
dried.
To reuse the unit, it is placed onto a heating or drying base. The heat removes the
trapped moisture from the silica beads, restoring them so they can absorb moisture
again. Once dried, the beads return to their original colour, and the unit is ready for
reuse.
Silica bead dehumidifiers are best suited to small enclosed areas such as:

Usage
Before using the product for the first time, check the silica gel colour in the display
window.
• If the silica gel is orange, the product is ready to use.
• If the silica gel is dark green, place the unit onto the base and power it on until the
silica gel turns orange.
1.When the power is turned on, the indicator light will flash white. Once the main
body is correctly placed onto the base, the indicator light will turn green.
2.When the silica gel in the display window is orange, the product is ready to absorb
moisture and can be used in areas such as wardrobes, closets, cabinets, and other
enclosed spaces.
3.When the silica gel turns dark green, it means the product has absorbed moisture
and needs to be dried. Place the product on the base and begin heating to dry the
silica gel. During drying, the base will heat the unit to remove trapped moisture. Once
the cycle is complete, the indicator light will flash white. Once the silica gel returns to
orange, the DryPod is ready to use again.
Note: Drying time may vary depending on environmental conditions. If the silica gel
does not return to orange after one heating cycle (2 hours), remove the main body
from the base for more than 3 seconds, then place it back onto the base to begin
another heating cycle. This will help ensure all remaining moisture is fully removed.

Troubleshooting
ISSUE
HOW TO FIX
DryPod not absorbing moisture well?
Use in a small enclosed space and keep doors or
drawers closed where possible.
Silica gel changing colour quickly?
This may indicate very high humidity levels in the
area. More frequent drying cycles may be required.
No indicator light showing?
Check the power outlet is switched on and ensure
the DryPod is correctly places onto the base.
DryPod has an unusual smell during
drying?
A slight warm or heated smell during the drying
cycle can be normal during first use.
Condensation or dampness still
present?
DryPod is designed to help reduce excess moisture
in small enclosed spaces. For larger rooms, ongoing
condensation, severe humidity, or moisture caused
by leaks and poor ventilation, an Ausclimate
dehumidifier may be more suitable.
