Wireless Network Control Connection
Wired Network Control Connection
1. Connect the PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier to mains power using the supplied mains cable and wait for the
front panel WiFi indicator to illuminate green.
2. Use a mobile, laptop or desktop device to search for available WiFi networks. Connect to ‘Sonance PZcP (model)
(serial number)’ using the password, ‘password’. The amplifier serial number can be found on its rear panel.
3. Open a mobile, laptop or desktop device web browser and enter the following IP address: 192.168.4.1. The amplifier
configuration web interface will open in the browser to enable amplifier configuration as required.
It is strongly recommended that the PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier WiFi password is changed
following initial wireless connection.
1. Connect the PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier Network Control socket through a network switch, or directly to
a laptop or desktop device.
2. Connect the PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier to mains power using the supplied mains cable and wait for the
front panel Network indicator to illuminate green to indicate that the amplifier has network connectivity.
3. The PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier’s network settings are configured for DHCP from the factory. The network
router will automatically assign the amplifier an IP address for seamless network connection (a network scanning app
can identify the IP address if needed).
4. Download and launch the PowerZone® Control Center desktop application from the Sonance website.
5. The PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier’s name and serial number will be automatically detected and displayed in
the PowerZone® Control Center (e.g., “Sonance PZcxxxx xxxx-xxxx”).
6. In PowerZone® Control Center, choose the PowerZone® Connect PRO amplifier you want to configure. For detailed
setup instructions, refer to the PowerZone® Connect PRO manual.
It is highly recommended to secure the amplifier’s LAN settings with a password by navigating to
Settings > Security.
A mobile, laptop or desktop device with Wi-Fi functionality and a web browser is required.
