Water Quality and Treatment Guidelines
1. Compare water quality at your location to the Convotherm Water Quality Requirements.
2. Contact your water company for information about the quality of your water, OR
3. Order a Convotherm water test kit #FLT0001-COV
4. *Water that does not meet the follwing minimum standards will require proper treatment.
FLT0039-COV: Reduces chlorine/chloramines and takes out sediment down to ½ micron.
FLT0040-COV: Reduces chlorine/chloramines and takes out sediment down to ½ micro and includes
IsoNetTM scale inhibitor.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems remove total dissolved solids (TDS), including chlorides and mineral
hardness, and balances the minerals to provide water with a stable, non–aggressive nature that can reduce
water-related equipment problems including corrosion and scale.
