Idlebatterypacksshouldbekeptawayfrommetalobjectssuchaspaperclips,coins,keys,
nails,andscrews.Theseobjectsmayshort-circuitthepositiveandnegativeelectrodesofthe
batterypack,whichcancauseburnsorfires.

Improperuseofbatteriesmaycauseliquidleakage.Avoidcontactwithleakingliquids.If

2.6 Maintenance

3.1 OperatorInstructions

allowedtooperatethemachine.
•
Donotwearclothingwithsafetyhazardssuchasscarves,looseclothing,shorts,andopen-
toedshoestocutgrass,inordertoavoidbeingcaughtbycomponentsduringmachine
operation.Donotusethemachinebarefoot.
•
Whenoperatingalawnmowerinadustyenvironment,alwayswearafullfacemaskordust
mask.
•
Alwaysweargloveswhenhandlingcuttingknives.
•
Whenoperatingthemachine,useearprotectorstoavoidhearingloss.Donotusetheradio
orwearmusicheadphones.

Toensuresafeoperation,theoperatorneedstobeattentive,focusedonthemowingtask,

ownerhastheobligationtotrainpersonnelwhousethismachine.

3.4 Slopeoperation
•
Slopesarethemaincauseofequipmentlossofcontrolandoverturning,whichcanleadto
seriousinjuriesordeath.Operatingonslopesrequiresmorecare.Ifyoucannotconfirm
whethertheslopeconditionsaresuitableforoperation,pleasedonottrimit.
•
Avoidstartingorstoppingonslopes.
•
Itisrecommendedtotrimslopeswithaslopeofnomorethan20degrees.
•
Donotoperatethemachineunderconditionswherethereareproblemswithtirefriction,
steering,orstability.Evenifthecarisparkedonaslope,thetiremayslide.
•
Alwayskeepthemachinerunningwhengoingdownhill,donotslideinneutral.
•
Payattentiontoholes,ruts,rocks,orotherobstaclesthatarenoteasilynoticed,especially

machinetotipover.

3.6 Batteryandchargingsafety
Ifusedimproperly,thebatterymayposeariskoffireorchemicalburns.Donotoverheator
disassembleorburnthebattery.Leaksmayoccurduringoveruse,charging,extreme
temperatureconditions,orwhenthebatteryisdamaged,squeezed,orpunctured.Suchleaks
indicateamalfunctioninthebattery,pleasedisposeofitproperly.

Intelligencecanbeused.Chargingbyothermethodsmaydamagethelawnmowerorremote

Itisstrictlyprohibitedtousechargingpiles(chargers)inrainy,humidenvironments,or
placeswithflammableliquidsorgases,nortoinstallthemoutdoors,inareaspronetowater
accumulation,orinareaswithflammableandexplosivesubstances.
•
Besuretoconfirmtheapplicablevoltagemarkedonthechargingpile(charger),andprohibit
connectingmismatchedACpowersources.
•
Donotuseextensioncordsunlessnecessary.Ifnecessary,ensurethattheratedcurrentof
theextensioncordsmeetstheneedsofthechargingpile(charger)toavoidvoltagedrop,
powerfailure,oroverheatingduetoinsufficientcurrent,whichmaycausefireorelectric
shockrisks.Atthesametime,itisforbiddentousemultiplepowerextensioncordsatthe
sametime.

Regularlycheckthepowercordandextensioncordofthechargingpile(charger).Ifany

Beforeyoubeginthesesteps,makesureyourDMMcanmeasure
resistanceupto1.20millionohms(Q).
Beforeperforminganymaintenanceorrepair,besuretodisconnectthebatterycable.After
disconnectingthebatterycable,waitfor5minutesbeforeoperatingthemachine.
1. Removedebrisaccumulatedonallcuttingtablecomponents.
b. Verifythatallpowerconnectionsonthemowingmotorandthemowingmotorcontroller
areproperlytightened.Alsocheckthatthecuttingtableisworkingproperly.Ifaloose
connectionisnotfound,continuewiththefollowingsteps.
3. Labeltheconnectionpointsofthemowingmotorcontrollersothattheycanbeeasilyseen
forcorrectreconnection.
4. Toensurecorrectreconnection,labelallwiringwiththeappropriateconnectionpointlabel
instep3.
5. Removeallwireconnectionsfromthemowingmotorcontroller.
f. Measuretheresistance(Q)ofthemowingmotorcontroller
i. First,adjustthemultimetertotheshort-circuittestmode.
ii. Placethepositiveelectrodeofthedigitalmultimeteronthepositiveterminalofthe
mowingmotorcontroller;placethenegativeelectrodeofthedigitalmultimeteron
thenegativeterminalofthemowingmotorcontroller.
iii. Atthistime,ifthemultimeterbeeps,thecontrollerisdamagedandneedstobe
replaced.
7. Ifnoproblemisfound,pleasere-tightenthewiringofthemowingmotorcontrollerandthe
motor.
8. Measuretheresistance(Q)ofthemowingmotor.
a. First,adjustthegearofthemultimetertotheresistancegear.
b. PlacethepositiveelectrodeofthemultimeteronthemotorterminalUandthenegative
electrodeonthemotorterminalV,andobservetheresistancereading.
c. PlacethepositiveelectrodeofthemultimeteronthemotorterminalUandthenegative
electrodeonthemotorterminalW,andobservetheresistancereading.
d. PlacethepositiveelectrodeofthemultimeteronthemotorterminalVandthenegative
electrodeonthemotorterminalW,andobservetheresistancereading.

e. Iftheresistanceoftheabovethreetestsisgreaterthan5ohms,themowingmotorneeds
tobereplaced.
i. Placethenegative(-)dialofthedigitalmultimeteronpin2andthepositive(+)dialonpin
3tomeasuretheresistanceinthesix-pinmotorconnector.Theresistancereadingshould
bebetween800k(Q)and1.2m(Q)ohms.Theresistancebetweenpin2andpins1,4,5,
and6shouldbe0ohms.Iftheresistanceishigherorlowerthantheseranges,themowing
motorneedstobereplaced.
j. Ifsteps1through9havebeencompletedandtheproblempersists,refertothewiring
harnesstroubleshootingprocessbelow.
