is specìcally designed to smoothen harsh volume peaks when using
dynamic slaps or other playing styles. Thanks to its high-performance
features you get full dynamics and tone control for absolute exibility
and limitless creative options.
A limiter reduces the dynamic range of a signal. This means that signal
peaks will be attenuated and the level dierences between loudest
and softest playing are reduced. This results in a more powerful and
pressure-rich tone. The loss of high frequencies due to compression
can be compensated by using an enhancer that adds high-frequency
harmonics to the sound.
Controls
(1) The LEVEL control adjusts the output level.
(2) Turn up the ENHANCE control to achieve more presence and
bass clarity.
(3) The RATIO control determines the amount of compression when
the chosen threshold (see below) value is exceeded.
(4) Use the THRESH(old) control to dè ne a level threshold. When this
value is exceeded by the input signal, the BLE400 starts limiting
with the chosen amount of ratio.
(5) The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the eect is activated. It also
serves as a battery level indicator.
(6) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect.
(7) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable.
(8) The ¼" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection at the front of the unit to plug in a 9 V power
supply (not included).

2 BASS LIMITER ENHANCER BLE400
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover.
To install or replace the 9 V battery, press the hinges with a ballpen and
remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch the unit.
◊ ◊
The BLE400 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the
jack into the in connector, the BLE400 begins running.
When not using the BLE400, remove the jack from the in
connector. This extends the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the bottom.

attachments/accessories. Do not service product yourself. Contact our

Un limitador reduce el rango dinámico de una señal. Esto signica que
los picos de señal se atenuarán y se reducirán las diferencias de nivel
entre la reproducción más fuerte y la más suave. Esto da como resultado
un tono más potente y rico en presión. La pérdida de altas frecuencias
debido a la compresión se puede compensar utilizando un potenciador

Controles
(1) LEVEL regula el nivel de salida.

(6) Al presionar el pedal se activa/desactiva el efecto.

(8) Salida jack de 6,3 mm para enviar la señal al amplìcador.
El conector DC IN te permite enchufar a tu pedal un adaptador de
corriente de 9 V (no incluido).
El COMPARTIMENTO DE LA BATERÍA se encuentra debajo de la cubierta
superior del pedal. Para instalar o cambiar la batería de 9 V, presiona
las bisagras laterales con un bolígrafo y retira la cubierta del pedal.

Behringer. Cette pédale d’eet est conçue pour adoucir les crêtes les plus
abruptes du signal de ta basse lorsque tu joues en slap ou de façon très
dynamique. Ses performances exceptionnelles t’orent un contrôle total
sur la dynamique et le son à n de décupler ta créativité.
On utilise un limiteur pour réduire la dynamique des signaux. Le limiteur
atténue les crêtes, ce qui revient à réduire l’écart entre les portions les
plus fortes et les plus faibles de signal. Il en résulte un accroissement de
la pression et de la puissance sonores. L’éventuelle perte d’aigus du fait
de la compression peut-être compensée par la fonction enhanceur de la
BLE400 qui ajoute des harmoniques hautes au signal.
Commandes et Connexions
(1) La commande LEVEL détermine le niveau du signal de sortie.
(2) Ouvre le bouton ENHANCE pour ajouter de la présence et de la
clareté au son.
(3) Le potentiomètre RATIO détermine l’intensité de la compression
lorsque le signal dépasse le seuil choisi (voir ci-dessous).
(4) Utilise la commande THRESH(old) pour dénir un niveau seuil.
La BLE400 limite les portions de signal dont le niveau dépasse le
niveau seuil choisi.
(5) La LED ON/BATT reste allumée tant que l’eet est actif. Elle sert
également de témoin de l’état de la pile.
(6) Appuie sur le commutateur pour activer ou désactiver l’eet.
(7) Branche le câble de ton instrument dans l’entrée IN sur jack
asymétrique.
(8) Relie la sortie OUT sur jack asymétrique à l’entrée de ton ampli.
Utilise le connecteur DC IN pour le branchement d’un bloc
d’alimentation de 9 V (non inclus).

ultimative Eektpedal dient speziell zur Unterdrückung von plötzlich
auftretenden Lautstärkespitzen, die beispielsweise beim Slappen
oder bei anderen Spieltechniken entstehen können. Dank zahlreicher
Features erlangst Du absolute Dynamik- und Klangkontrolle für ein
Höchstmaß an Flexibilität und kreativen Möglichkeiten.
Ein Limiter reduziert den Dynamikumfang eines Signals.
Lautstärkespitzen werden abgesenkt, wodurch der Unterschied
zwischen den lautesten und leisesten Passagen eines Signals verringert
wird. Auf diese Weise erlangt man einen wesentlich fetteren und
druckvolleren Klang.
Bedienungselemente
(1) Der LEVEL-Regler bestimmt die Ausgangslautstärke.
(2) Mit dem ENHANCE-Regler fügst Du dem Signal Brillanz und
Obertöne hinzu.
(3) Der RATIO-Regler regelt die Intensität der Kompression, sobald
das Signal einen festgelegten Lautstärkepegel überschreitet (s u.).
(4) Der THRESH(old)-Regler bestimmt eine Pegelschwelle.
Sobald der Lautstärkepegel des Eingangssignals diesen Wert
überschreitet, beginnt der BLE400 das Signal mit der gewählten
Intensität zu limitieren.
(5) Die ON/BATT-LED leuchtet, sobald der Eekt aktiviert ist.
Zusätzlich kannst Du den Batteriezustand überprüfen.
(6) Der Fußschalter dient zum Aktivieren/Deaktivieren des Eekts.
(7) Die 6,3-mm IN-Monoklinkenbuchse dient zum Anschluss
des Instruments.
(8) Die 6,3-mm OUT-Monoklinkenbuchse leitet das Signal an Deinen
Verstärker weiter.
Der DC IN-Anschluss rechts am Gerät dient zum Anschluss eines 9 V
Adapters (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
Das BATTERIEFACH bè ndet sich unter dem Fußschalter. Um die Batterie
einzubauen oder auszutauschen, drücke die Gelenke vorsichtig zusammen
und entferne das Pedal. Achte darauf, das Gerät nicht zu zerkratzen.
◊ ◊ Der BLE400 hat keinen On/O -Schalter. Der BLE400 ist
betriebsbereit, sobald ein Kabel in der IN-Buchse steckt.

agudos de intensidade sonora, que podem, por exemplo, alterar certas

(7) A conexão mono IN de 6,3 mm serve para ligar o instrumento.
(8) A conexão mono OUT de 6,3 mm transmite o sinal para o seu
amplìcador.
A ligação DC IN destina-se a ligar um adaptador de 9 V (não fornecido).
O COMPARTIMENTO PARA PILHAS encontra-se por baixo do
interruptor de pedal. Para inserir ou trocar as pilhas, comprima
cuidadosamente as patilhas com uma esferográca e retire o pedal.

Un limitatore riduce la gamma dinamica di un segnale. Ciò signica

Controlli

Bediening
(1) De LEVEL-regelaar regelt het uitgangsniveau.
(2) Zet de ENHANCE-regelaar hoger voor meer aanwezigheid en
helderheid van de bas.
(3) De RATIO-regeling bepaalt de hoeveelheid compressie wanneer
de gekozen drempelwaarde (zie hieronder) wordt overschreden.
(4) Gebruik de THRESH(old)-regelaar om een niveaudrempel te
deniëren. Wanneer deze waarde wordt overschreden door het
ingangssignaal, begint de BLE400 te begrenzen met de gekozen
hoeveelheid verhouding.
(5) De ON/BATT-LED licht op wanneer het eect is geactiveerd. Het
dient ook als indicator voor het batterijniveau.
(6) Gebruik de voetschakelaar om het eect te activeren/deactiveren.
(7) Gebruik deze ¼" TS IN-connector om de instrumentkabel in te
pluggen.
(8) De ¼" TS OUT-connector stuurt het signaal naar je versterker.
Gebruik de DC IN-aansluiting aan de voorkant van het apparaat om een
9 V-voeding aan te sluiten (niet meegeleverd).
Het BATTERIJCOMPARTIMENT bevindt zich onder de pedaalcover.
Om de 9 V-batterij te plaatsen of te vervangen, drukt u met een balpen
op de scharnieren en verwijdert u de pedaalcover. Pas op dat u het
apparaat niet bekrast.
◊ ◊ De BLE400 heeft geen aan/uit-schakelaar. Zodra je de jack
in de in-connector steekt, begint de BLE400 te draaien.
Als u de BLE400 niet gebruikt, verwijdert u de jack uit de
in-connector. Dit verlengt de levensduur van de batterij.
Het SERIENUMMER bevindt zich aan de onderkant.

En begränsare minskar det dynamiska området för en signal. Detta
innebär att signaltopparna kommer att dämpas och nivåskillnaderna
mellan högsta och mjukaste spel minskas. Detta resulterar i en mer
kraftfull och tryckrik ton. Förlusten av höga frekvenser på grund av
kompression kan kompenseras genom att använda en förstärkare som
lägger till högfrekventa övertoner till ljudet.
Kontroller
(1) LEVEL-kontrollen justerar utgångsnivån.
(2) Vrid upp ENHANCE-kontrollen för att uppnå mer närvaro och
basklarhet.

Ogranicznik zmniejsza dynamikę sygnału. Oznacza to, że szczyty sygnału
zostaną stłumione, a różnice poziomów między najgłośniejszym i
najcichszym odtwarzaniem zostaną zmniejszone. Skutkuje to mocniejszym i
bogatszym w ciśnienie tonem. Utratę wysokich częstotliwości spowodowaną
kompresją można zrekompensować za pomocą wzmacniacza, który dodaje
