The scooter is factory equipped with aspeed limiter that limits its maximum speed
to 25 km/h to meet the conditions for its operation on roads. Only electric scooters
with apower of up to 1,000 W and amaximum speed of up to 25 km/h can be used on
roads. Detailed information regarding this issue can be found in Annex 8 of Decree
No. 153/2023 Coll., on the approval of technical fitness and technical conditions of
operation of vehicles. The scooter complies with the conditions set out in the decree
only when the speed limiter is switched on. The speed limiter can be deactivated
exclusively for the use of the scooter off-road, in places such as closed circuits or
private land. In the event that the speed limiter is switched off, the scooter is deemed
to be amotor vehicle unfit for use on the road with all the consequences thereof and its
operator is responsible for ensuring that it is used exclusively off the road and that the
speed limiter is switched back on before it is used on the road. Please note that it is not
possible to register an electric scooter as amotor vehicle.
Unblocking / Blocking the Speed Limiter
1. How to Unblock the Speed Limit above 25 km/h
Starting the Operating Mode
1) Switch on the electric scooter.
2) Fully press and hold down the speed control until the display shows avalue of 16.
3) Keep holding down the speed control and press the brake lever simultaneously.
4) Release the brake lever.
How to Unblock SPORT Driving Mode
1) Set the speed control to the highest position while holding the brake lever.
2) Press the on/off button 8 times quickly.
3) Successful unblocking will be announced by an audible tone.
4) Release the speed control and brake lever.
2. Blocking the Speed Limit up to 25 km/h
How to Block SPORT Driving Mode
1) Put the electric scooter into operating mode.
2) Set the speed control to the highest position while holding the brake lever.
3) Press the multi-function button 10 times quickly.
4) Successful locking will be announced by an acoustic tone.
5) Release the speed control and brake lever.
CAUTION:
Always make changes to the controller settings when the SCOOTER S71 is
not in motion.
