IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this use and care guide.
2. This refrigerator must be properly installed in accordance with the installation instructions before it
is used. See grounding instructions in the installation section.
3. Never unplug your refrigerator by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug rmly and pull
straight out from the outlet.
4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
5. Unplug your refrigerator before cleaning or before making any repairs. NOTE: If for any reason this
product requires service, we strongly recommend that a certied technician performs the service.
Component parts shall be replaced with like components and servicing shall be done by factory

6. Do not use any electrical device or any sharp instrument in defrosting your refrigerator.
7. After your refrigerator is in operation, do not touch the cold surfaces in the freezer compartment,
particularly when hands are damp or wet. Skin may adhere to these extremely cold surfaces.
8. Do not refreeze foods that have been thawed completely. The United States Department of
Agriculture in Home and Garden Bulletin No. 69 reads: “…You may safely refreeze frozen foods that
have thawed if they still contain ice crystals or if they are still cold-below 40˚F.
“…Thawed ground meats, poultry, or sh that have any off-odor or off-color should not be refrozen
and should not be eaten. Thawed ice cream should be discarded. If the odor or color of any food
is poor or questionable, discard it. The food may be dangerous to eat … Even partial thawing and
re-freezing reduce the eating quality of foods, particularly fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods.
The eating quality of red meats is affected less than that of many other foods. Use refrozen foods
as soon as possible, to save as much of its eating quality as you can.”
9. This refrigerator should not be recessed or built-in in an enclosed cabinet. It is designed for
freestanding installation only.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
The electrical requirements are a 115 volt 60 Hz, AC only, 15 amp. It is recommended
that a separate circuit serving only the product be provided. The product is equipped
with a 3-wire cord having a 3-prong grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall
receptacle that is properly installed and grounded.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
The cord provided with this appliance is equipped with a grounding wire and a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed
and grounded.
Avoid the use of three prong adapters or cutting off the third grounding prong in
order to accommodate a two prong outlet. This is a dangerous practice since it
provides no effective grounding for the refrigerator and may result in shock hazard.
Consult a qualied electrician or serviceman if:
1) The grounding instructions are not completely understood.
2) You are unsure that the appliance is properly grounded.
3) You have any questions about the grounding or electrical instructions.
POWER SUPPLY CORD
Avoid the use of an extension cord because of potential safety hazards under certain
conditions. Have a qualied electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the
appliance.
If it is absolutely necessary to use longer cord sets or an extension cord, extreme care
must be exercised.

USE OF EXTENSION CORDS WITH REFRIGERATORS
Only use a grounded extension cord that is rated at least 15 amps and has a
third-wire ground. When a long extension cord is used to connect the refrigerator, a voltage drop
occurs. The longer the cord, the greater the voltage drop. This results in less voltage being supplied
to the refrigerator and increases the amount of current (amp) draw or reduces performance. A
heavier cord with a larger wire size will reduce the voltage drop. Be sure to choose a cord that will
supply enough voltage to operate the refrigerator. The table below indicates appropriate gauge for
extension cords.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Unpack your refrigerator by removing all packaging materials like carton, base, foams, adhesive
tape, etc.
2. Remove all accessories, internal packaging material used to hold shelves, ice tray, etc. in place.
3. Clean the remains of all adhesive tape used and remove all printed material supplied.
4. Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. Allow sufcient
clearance between the refrigerator and side wall so the door(s) will open without obstruction.
Refrigerator is not designed for recessed installation.
5. The oor on which the refrigerator should be placed must be at, hard, solid, and even. The
refrigerator should not be placed on any soft material such as foam, plastic, etc.
6. To level your refrigerator, use the two leveling legs located on the bottom front of your
refrigerator. Adjust by turning the legs counterclockwise to raise or clockwise to lower your
refrigerator. The door will close easier if the leveling legs are extended.
7. The following are recommended minimum clearances around the refrigerator for proper air
circulation:
Sides: 2” (50.8 mm)
Top: 2” (50.8 mm)
Back: 4” (101.6 mm)
Proper air circulation will help your refrigerator work at maximum efciency.
NOTE: · The appliance must be correctly connected to the power supply.
CAUTION
Care should be taken during the handling, moving and use of the refrigerator to
avoid damaging the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of a leak.
WARNING
It is important to keep the power cord away from the compressor at the
back of the refrigerator during operation, the compressor can reach a high
temperature and could cause serious damage to the power cord.

PROTECTION FROM HEAT AND MOISTURE
• Do not install your refrigerator in any location where heavy moisture is present or if the location is
not properly insulated. This refrigerator is not designed to operate in temperature settings below
50° Fahrenheit.
• Location for the refrigerator should be on a hard surface and away from direct sunlight and heat
sources, e.g., radiators, baseboard heaters, cooking appliances, etc..
DOOR ALIGNMENT
1. Remove the top hinge cover.
2. Loosen the top hinge screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Adjust the door and then tighten the screws.
LEVELING THE REFRIGERATOR
Adjust the two levelling feet at front of the unit. If the unit is not level,
the doors and magnetic seal frame will not be aligned properly

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
STARTING YOUR NEW REFRIGERATOR
After cleaning your refrigerator thoroughly. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth, the interior with a
clean moist cloth.
1. Insert the power supply cord into the socket.
2. Adjust refrigerator compartment temperature to “coldest” setting. Let the unit run for 15-20 minutes.
NOTE: As the door gets pressed in during shipping, the gasket may have to be reset. This is done to
prevent the cool refrigerated air from escaping. If there is a gap between the door gasket and
the cabinet, set the gasket by gently pulling it out of the seal gap.
FREEZER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SETTING
• Plug in your appliance. The internal temperature is controlled by a sensor.
There are 3 settings MIN, MED (RECOMMENDED) and MAX.
• The appliance may not operate at the correct temperature if it is
in a particularly hot environment or if you open the door often.
• Set the freezer compartment temperature to a mid point setting.
Always wait 24 hours after any adjustment to reach the desired
temperature and adjust as needed.
REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SETTING
OPERATION
• The settings of the temperature control in the refrigerator compartment are 1-5 (5 being the coldest).
Adjust by pushing the “SET” button. Initially set the control at “3” and adjust as needed.
• Power off and power on
The power is switched off after press “SET” key for 3 seconds.
Then the compressor is stopped, and the OFF indication light is on.
And the power will be switched on, when you press “SET” key for 3 seconds again.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
NOTE: If the refrigerator/freezer has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for any period of
time, wait 24 hours before plugging the unit in.
NOTE:
• Wait 3-5 minutes before restarting if you unplug the refrigerator. The unit may fail to operate properly
if restarted too quickly.
• If the ambient temperature is too high, the refrigerator may not reach the desired target temperature.
• Large amounts of food will lower the cooling efciency of the appliance.
• Do not place food items on the air outlet and leave spaces for airow.
• If you choose to change the thermostat setting, adjust thermostat control one increment at a time.
Allow several hours for temperature to stabilize between adjustments.

SABBATH MODE (AVAILABLE ON SOME VERSIONS OF
THIS MODEL)
Entering the Sabbath Mode
Press and hold the temperature control button for 5 seconds. The display lights will ash for 10 seconds
during which time you need to push temperature control button again to enter Sabbath mode.
NOTE: In Sabbath mode, interior light and display panel lights will be off and settings cannot be
adjusted. All settings, including lighting, selected before entering Sabbath mode will be maintained in
the memory function even when appliance is powered down.
Exiting the Sabbath mode
Press and hold the temperature control button for 5 seconds. The display lights will ash for 10 seconds
during which time you need to press the temperature control button again to exit Sabbath mode.
NOTE: After exiting Sabbath mode, interior lighting and display panel lighting return and settings can
again be adjusted.

REVERSE DOOR
Tools Required: Philips screwdriver, at head screwdriver
• Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
• To take the door o, it is necessary to tilt the unit backwards. You should rest the unit on something
solid so that it will not slip during the door reversing process.
• All parts removed must be saved to do re-installation of the door.
• Do not lay the unit flat as this may damage the coolant system.
• It’s better that 2 people handle the unit during assembly.
1. Remove the top hinge cover and then unscrew
the top hinge. Then lift the upper door and
place it on a soft surface to avoid scratches and
damage.
2. Remove the top left screw cover.

3. Unscrew the middle hinge. Lift the refrigerator
door and place it in a safe place to protect it
from damage and scratches.
4. Move the shaft sleeve and the pinhole plug
from left side to right side.
5. Move the middle hinge hole covers from the
left side to the right side.
6. Unscrew bottom hinge. Then remove the
adjustable feet from both sides.
7. Remove the washer and nut that secure the
hinge pin to the hinge, then move the pin and
screws with the washer and nut into to left hole
hinge.
8. Transfer the lower door hinge to the proper
position. Replace both adjustable feet.
9. Move the bottom hinge hole covers from the left side to the right side.

10. Reverse the direction of the middle hinge 180° and then move it to the left side of the refrigerator.
Insert the middle hinge pin in the upper hole of the lower door and tighten the screws.
12. Move the hole cover from the left side to the right side and tighten it with a screw.
11. Place the upper door back on. Ensure the door is aligned horizontally and vertically so that it seals
properly. Insert the middle hinge pin in the upper hole of the lower door and tighten the screws.

FOOD STORAGE
• When storing fresh food that is not prepackaged, be sure to wrap or store food in airtight and
moisture proof material unless otherwise noted. This will ensure proper shelf life and prevent the
transfer of odors and tastes.
• Wipe containers before storing to avoid needless spills.
• Eggs should be stored in an upright position in their original carton to maximize shelf life.
• Fruit should be washed and dried, then stored in sealed plastic bags before storing in the
refrigerator.
• Vegetables with skins should be stored in plastic bags or containers.
• Leafy vegetables should be washed and drained and then stored in plastic bags or containers.
• Hot food should be allowed to cool before storing in the refrigeration. This will prevent
unnecessary energy use.
• Fresh seafoods should be used the same day as purchased.
• When storing meats in the fresh food section, keep the original packaging or rewrap as necessary.
REFRIGERATOR INTERIOR SHELF
1. Carefully tilt the shelf up and slide forward until the shelf has been completely removed.
2. Slide the shelf back to replace.

CLEANING AND
MAINTAINING
The refrigerator should be cleaned and
maintained once a month. Before doing so, you
must unplug the refrigerator.
POWER INTERRUPTION
In case of a power interruption/outage, unplug
the power cord from the wall outlet. Replug the
power cord to the wall outlet once the power has
been restored. For long period of power outage,
inspect and discard the spoiled or thawed foods
from the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Clean the refrigerator thoroughly before using
again.
CLEANING METHOD
Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons
of baking soda mixed with warm water. Use
sponge or soft cloth, dampened with the cleaning
solution to wipe down your refrigerator.
• Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a
soft cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives,
ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated
detergents, solvents or metal scouring pads.
Some of these chemicals may dissolve,
damage and/or discolor your refrigerator.
DOOR GASKET
Clean door gaskets every three months
according to general instructions. Gasket must be
kept clean and pliable to assure a proper seal.
• Petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge
sides of gaskets will keep the gasket pliable
and ensure a good seal.
VACATION AND MOVING
CARE
• When going on vacation, it is best that you
empty all the food from your refrigerator and
freezer. Set the temperature dial to “0” and
unplug the refrigerator. Clean the unit as per
“Cleaning Method” and leave the door open
to remove any odors.
• When travelling or moving the refrigerator,
always transport the unit vertically. Moving
the unit on its sides may damage the
refrigerator and/or its compressor.

ENERGY SAVING TIPS
• The refrigerator should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing
appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
• Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator. Overloading the
refrigerator forces the compressor to run longer and thus increase energy consumption. Foods
that refrigerate too slowly may lose quality or spoil.
• Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing in the refrigerator.
• The shelves should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper towels. This will interfere
with cold air circulation, making the refrigerator less efcient.
• Organize food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed
at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
DEFROSTING
This is a frost free refrigerator which will not require manual defrosting.

IF THE REFRIGERATOR FAILS TO OPERATE:
A) Check to make sure that the refrigerator is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove
the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again securely.
B) Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these seem to
be operating properly, test the outlet with another appliance.

weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges,
or mileage expenses for service calls to remote areas,

or built-in xtures (e.g., trim, decorative panels, ooring,
cabinetry, islands, countertops, drywall) that interfere with
servicing, removal or replacement of the product.
16. Appliances with original, factory installed model/serial
numbers removed, altered or not easily determined.
17. Incidental or consequential damages (e.g., loss of food or
medicine) resulting from appliance breakdown or delay in
service, repair or replacement.
18. Transportation and shipping costs associated with the
replacement of the unit.
19. Glass parts and other accessory items included with the
unit.
20. Products that have been purchased as refurbished, like
new, second-hand, under “as is” or “nal sale” terms.
21. Units that have been transferred from the original owner/
purchaser.
22. If there is damage due to power line surge, user damage
to the AC power cord or connection to improper voltage
source.
23. Products which are not defective or broken, or which are
working as described in the owner’s manual.
