DOOR HINGE REVERSAL INSTRUCTIONS

Materials needed:
1) Phillips head screwdriver
2) Work gloves
NOTICE: Be careful handling unit during
assembly and dissasembly
1) Open door fully.
2) Lift door to remove from cabinet.
3) Using the screwdriver, remove all #8-
32 x 1/2” machine screws from the hinges
mounted on the current hinge side.
4) Carefully lift and remove each hinge
from the frame. Keep the hinges and
screws organized for reuse
5) Locate the magnetic catch assembly on
the opposite side of the door frame.
6) Remove the screws securing the mag-
netic catch bracket and strike plate. Set
aside both pieces with their screws.
7) Position the hinges in the pre-punched
holes on the opposite side of the door
frame.
8) Align hinge leafs with the frame and
door.
9) Secure each hinge with the #8-32 x 1/2”
phillips at head screws. Ensure all screws
are tightened snugly but not overtightened
(to avoid thread stripping).

10) Position the magnetic catch body on
the frame, opposite the hinges.
11) Align the strike plate on the door so
that it lines up with the catch when closed.
12) Fasten both pieces using the original
#8-32 x 1/2” screws.
13) Remove door panel hinge leaf screws
and fasten door hinge leafs to the opposite
side of the panel
14) Re-install door panel to unit
15) Verify smooth operation by opening/
closing the door several times
