your home Wi-Fi network password.

8. Resetting Your TimeFrame
8.1 Minor Issues / Freeze
If the device is frozen for more than 2-3 minutes, it will automatically perform a reboot. You can also
manually reboot the device by pressing the reset button on the back for 5 seconds.
34. The device will restart. All settings and your Wi-Fi connection are preserved.
35. No re-pairing is required.
8.2 Resetting Your TimeFrame
There are two ways to reset your TimeFrame: Device Reset and Factory Reset. A factory reset
wipes all settings and Wi-Fi credentials. Use this when transferring the device to someone else, or
to resolve a persistent issue.
How to Reset Your TimeFrame
36. Go to your Settings on your device or in the web application
(https://app.gettimeframe.com/login) for the same device.
37. Use the arrow buttons to choose one of two options:
Device Reset — Wipes settings and Wi-Fi credentials, but the device stays linked to
your account. You will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Factory Reset — Wipes everything and removes the device from your account. A new
user can register it. Use this option when gifting or selling the device.
38. Confirm your selection by pressing the Selection Button.
Factory Reset is Permanent
A factory reset cannot be undone. Make sure you have selected the correct option before
confirming.
Note: Your warranty stays with the device and does not reset — even if ownership changes.
