• If water leaks from the appliance, the appliance should no longer be used.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Use appliance on a sturdy or level surface.
• Do not use this product for more than 20 minutes at a time.
• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur,
discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• Never use any foot spa on open wounds, discolored areas, or any area of the body that is
swollen, burned, inflamed, or where skin eruptions or sores are present.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and
consult a doctor. Persistant pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.
• DO NOT use while sleepy or drowsy.
• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result,
discontinue use and consult your physician.
• This product is intended for household use only.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before
cleaning.
• DO NOT reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
• DO NOT place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• DO NOT place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in
use, and before putting on or taking o parts.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids, or
disabled persons.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments
not recommended by HoMedics; specifically any attachments not provided with the unit.
• NEVER operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a HoMedics Service
Center for examination and repair.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric
shock, or injury to persons.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as a handle.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the “o” position, then remove plug from outlet.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• NEVER operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint,
hair, and the like.
• DO NOT stand on or in appliance. Use only while seated.
• Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over insensitive skin areas
or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated
persons may be dangerous.
• DO NOT handle plug with wet hands.
• Always unplug the unit when filling or moving the unit.
• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing the plug.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Unfold the foot spa by pulling up the edge one side at a time while holding the base fi rmly
(Fig. 1–3).
2. Use the anti-collapse system to lock the unit. To do this, pull out the metal props at the front and
back of the foot spa and push them into place under the edge of the tub (Fig. 4–5).
3. Ensure that the unit is unplugged before fi lling with water. Fill with warm water to the MAX fi ll
line, located on the inside of the tub.
NOTE: HEAT MAINTENANCE WILL ONLY HELP TO MAINTAIN THE TEMPERATURE OF WATER
PLACED INSIDE THE FOOT SPA. IT WILL NOT HEAT COLD WATER. FOR A WARM WATER
MASSAGE, FILL THE UNIT WITH WARM WATER.
4. Place the unit on the fl oor in front of a chair. It is recommended to place the product on a towel.
5. Plug the unit into a power outlet.
6. Sit down and place your feet in the tub.
7. To operate the unit, press the power button on the back of the product.
NOTE: THE HEAT MAINTENANCE FUNCTION IS AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED WHEN THE
VIBRATION MASSAGE IS SWITCHED ON. THE VIBRATION MASSAGE + HEAT MAINTENANCE
MUST ONLY BE USED WITH WATER.
8. Enjoy a deep massage by sliding feet back and forth over the stimulating acu-nodes on the foot
spa fl oor.
9. To turn o , press the power button again to deactivate.
10. To empty, unplug the unit and pour the water out.
11. To store the foot spa, unlock the anti-collapse system by unclipping the metal props from under
the edge of the tub and folding them away. Then fold the foot spa down by pressing down on
the edges while holding the base fi rmly.

TO CLEAN
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth and mild
cleansing agent.
• After cleaning, wipe surfaces with a dry cloth.
• Never use strong abrasives, detergents, or cleansing agents.
• Periodically straighten cord if it becomes twisted.
TO STORE
Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow to cool and dry.
• Store in its box or a clean, dry place.
• To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
• Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
• This appliance is designed for household use only.
CAUTION: TO AVOID INJURY AND IRREPARABLE DAMAGE, ALWAYS REMAIN SEATED WHEN
