2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance
out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance
when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure
all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.
- Before using the appliance for the rst time, boil water twice without cleaning agents.
3. OPERATION
1. Remove the lid and ll the kettle with water while watching the water level gauge.
2. Place the lid on the kettle.
3. Place the kettle on the power supply base.
4. Press the lever down: the corresponding LED indicator will light up. The kettle will start
boiling water. With the exterior temperature gauge, you will be able to view the water
temperature at all times.
5. After boiling the water, the appliance will switch o automatically.
6. Before serving water, wait until it stops boiling.
7. Do not open the lid when serving.

Note
Fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum level, without exceeding the limit capacity.
It is important to let the kettle cool down until the water stops boiling.
If the kettle is hot and you wish to remove the lid, use a cloth and do so carefully.
Tip
- Use the kettle exclusively to boil water, the use of other liquids could damage the appliance.
- It is not recommended to use hard water, as this may cause limescale build-up inside the
appliance. To lengthen the appliance’s shelf life, adhering limescale must be removed on
a regular basis.
- If you want to use the kettle to make some tea, you can use bags or tea owers. Make sure
the contents are big enough for the lter to hold and extract the tea from the bag or ower.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always disconnect the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the appliance.
- If the kettle is hot, wait until it completely cools down to clean it.
- Do not immerse the appliance, its power cable, plug, or base in water.
- Do not use steam to clean the kettle.
- The interior and exterior can be cleaned with a slightly dampened cloth. Do not use powder
detergent or abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents, as these could damage the appliance’s
surface. Rinse the kettle interior and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Before storing the appliance, check it is completely dry and store it in a fresh and dry place.
- If you notice mineral deposits such as limescale, we recommend following the steps below:
1. Pour water and a descaler for kitchen appliances in the ratio specied by the manufacturer.
2. Let it stand for one hour with the appliance switched o.
3. Discard the descaler and rinse the kettle with clean water several times until washing o
all descaler residue.
4. Fill up the kettle and boil some water, then discard it.
5. If you notice traces of descaler, repeat from step 3.
Warning
Never use ammonia, chlorine or other appliances to clean or descale the kettle. These could
damage the appliance. Follow only the previous steps.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause and solution
The kettle
does not turn
on.
Make sure the kettle is plugged to the electric circuit.
Make sure the plug works.
Make sure the lever was pressed down.
The kettle
does not boil.
Make sure the water level is between the minimum and maximum.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose
of the batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated
by the local authorities.

correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
