SAFETY INFORMATION
Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
package contents list and diagram on previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble,
install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Slotted Screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Electrical Tape, Wire
Cutters, Safety Glasses, Ladder, Wire Stripper.
PREPARATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
WARNING
• Turn off electricity at main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by removing fuse (or switching
off circuit breaker).
• Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during fixture installation. Do not permit wires to contact
any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire insulation, which could cause serious injury
or death from electric shock.
• LED electronics can be damaged by electro static discharge (ESD) shock. Before installation, discharge yourself
by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid damage, do not touch the LED module.
CAUTION
• All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the national electric code (NEC).
Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits and/or inspections.
• Risk of fire – most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140°F/60ºC. Consult a qualified electrician
before installation.
•
This fixture is dimmable with a forward phase electronic dimmer. Dimmers tested to be compatible with this
fixture are the Lutron: TGCL-153PH, MACL-153MH, SCL-153P, DVWCL-153PH.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical installation, it is recommended to use a qualified electrician for your installation(s).

Adjust the desired color temperature of the light before installation. (Reference Fig.5, Fig.5-a)
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

separated from the main
body (B). Disconnect the male
connector from the female
connector.

2. Pull out the source wires from the
outlet box, thread them through
the big hole of the ceiling pan (A).
Attach the ceiling pan (A) to the
outlet box by inserting two
mounting screw (AA), and slide the
ceiling pan (A) until it is locked in
place. Then secure the mounting
screws tightly with a screwdriver
(not included).

Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.
3. Connect the fixture black wire to house black (power) wire, fixture white wire to
house white (neutral) wire with supplied wire connectors (BB). Tuck all wires
into outlet box. Finally connect the Female Connector to the Male Connector.
4. Attach the main body (B) to the ceiling pan (A) by aligning studs and slots,
then turn it clockwise until it is locked in place.
Adjus�ng the color Temperature of the Light
Customizc the correlated color temperature (CCT) of the LED light by moving the toggle switch (For Reference).
a. Move the toggle switch to "3000K", the color temperature is set at 3000K.
b. Move the toggle switch to "4000K", the color temperature is set at 4000K.
c. Move the toggle switch to "5000K", the color temperature is set at 5000K.
Notice: Please move the toggle switch to make your selection before attaching main
body (B) to the ceiling pan (A).

● To clean, turn off and wipe with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
1) The light does not work:
a) Make sure the wall switch and circuit breaker are on.
b) Make sure the wiring is correct.
2) Fuse blows or circuit trips when light is turned on.
Check for crossed wires, ensure wiring is correct.
3) The "main light mode" work but the "night light mode" doesn't work.
Make sure the male connector and the female connector are well connected.
4) Main light mode and night light mode are out-of-step.
Turn off the wall switch
, then back on again 7 times within 10 seconds, all light fixtures connected in a same
electrical circuit will reset to main light mode.

FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING lighting fixture breaks or fails
due to a defect in material workmanship within five (5) years from the date of original purchase, simply bring this
lighting fixture with the original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT
LIGHTING agrees to have the product or any defective part(s) repaired or replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT
LIGHTING product or part free of charge, within the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser
with original sales receipt. This warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs; (2) does
not cover damage that has resulted from abuse or misuse; and (3) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to
persons/property or costs. This warranty does give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary
from state to state.

If unable to fix any of the above issues, please consult a certified electrician.
1. To turn on the main light mode, switch on the wall switch.
2. To change to night light mode, turn on the main light,
then switch the wall switch off then back on again quickly.
3. Light will cycle from "main light mode" to "night light mode"
if continuing to turn the switch "OFF" and "ON" within 3
seconds.
4. The reset function is used when using multiple color
selectable lighting products operating from the same
light switch. In the event that multiple fixtures are not
displaying the same color at the same time, the fixtures
must be RESET using your existing light switch. Simply
turn off the wall switch, then back on again 7 times
within 10 seconds, it will reset to main light mode.

5. The light has memory function
When the light turns off for more than 7 seconds, the memory function will initiate and keep the same setting when
the light turns back on.
