Safety Precaution
● Unpack the equipment carefully and save the original box and packing material for
possible future shipment.
● Follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to
persons.
● To prevent damaging this product, avoid heavy pressure, strong vibration, or immersion
during transportation, storage, and installation.
● Do not dismantle the housing or modify the module.
● Using supplies or parts not meeting the products’ specifications may cause damage,
deterioration or malfunction.
● Do not put any heavy items on the extension cable in case of extrusion.
● Install the device in a place with fine ventilation to avoid damage caused by overheat.
● Do not twist or pull by force ends of the optical cable. It can cause malfunction.
● The housing of this product is made of organic materials. Do not expose to any liquid,
gas, or solids which may corrode the shell.
● Unplug this device during lightning storms.
● Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean this unit. Clean only with a soft dry
microfiber cloth.
● Always unplug the power to the device before cleaning.
● If an object or liquid falls or spills on to the housing, unplug the module immediately.
● To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not open the case. Installation and maintenance
should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
● Do not use the product beyond the specified temperature, humidity, or power supply
specifications.
● This product does not contain parts that can be maintained or repaired by users.
Damage caused by dismantling the product without authorization from BZBGEAR is not
covered under the warranty policy.
● Installation and use of this product must strictly comply with local electrical safety
standards.
● Product specifications may be subject to technical upgrades without further notice.
● Unplug the power cord when left unused for a long period of time.
● Information on disposal for scrapped devices: do not burn or mix with general household
waste, please treat them as normal electrical wastes.

Introduction
The BG-DA-1X4AS is a 1x4 HDMI 2.0 splitter which simultaneously routes one HDMI source
to four HDMI displays. It supports resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz (4:4:4) and HDCP 2.2. This
product supports audio extraction from the HDMI source to optical and analog outputs. It
also features COPY and AUTO EDID settings. Output supports bypass and downscaler
(4K->1080P) functions.

● HDMI 2.0b, HDCP2.2/HDCP1.4 compliant.
● HDMI resolution the maximum up to 4K2K@50/60Hz (4:4:4)
● Digital and analog audio extract output from the HDMI source.
● Output bypass and 4K->1080P downscaler function via dial switch on panel.
● EDID features COPY and AUTO modes selectable via dial switch on panel.
(COPY: It copies OUT 1 port EDID setting to all output ports, If no HDMI OUT 1
capable EDID is detected then the unit will copy HDMI OUT 2. If no HDMI OUT 1~2
capable EDID is detected then the unit will copy HDMI OUT 3...etc. The priority order
is OUT 1 to OUT 4.
AUTO: Compare OUT 1~OUT 4 EDID setting and output the best resolution
supported by all outputs).
● Analog audio PCM 2.0.
● Optical audio pass-through format about LPCM 2.0/2.1/5.1CH, Dolby 5.1, Dolby True
HD, Dolby DD+, DTS 5.1, DTS-ES 6/DTS-HDMA 5.1, DTS HD-HRA 5.1.

Operation Controls and Functions
Front Panel
1. POWER LED: This blue LED will illuminate when the unit is connected to an active
power supply.
2. HDMI INPUT LED: This blue LED will illuminate when the HDMI IN port is connected
to an active HDMI source.
3. HDMI OUTPUT LED: These blue LEDs will illuminate when the HDMI OUT port is
connected to an active display device.
4. SERVICE port: Micro USB for firmware updates.
5. EDID Management:
● AUTO: Compares OUT 1-4 displays EDID settings and sends best to the source
device.
● COPY: Copy the HDMI OUT 1 port EDID settings to the source device.
6. Scaler Switches (4K→ 1080P):
● OFF: Signal input and output is in bypass status.
● ON: Signal input will downscale 4K to 1080P on toggled output.
NOTE: When changing EDID or Scaler Switches the unit should be disconnected from
power.

7. HDMI OUTPUT: Connect to an HDMI display device.
8. OPTICAL OUT: Optical audio output (this port outputs audio from the HDMI IN port).
9. L/R OUT: Analog audio output. (This port outputs audio from the HDMI IN port).
10. HDMI IN: Connect to an HDMI source device.
11. DC 5V: Plug the 5V/1A DC power supply into the unit and connect the adapter to an
AC outlet.
