The air purier will take 5 seconds
to detect the air quality each time it
is turned on. During this time, the air
quality indicator rings will be blue. After
5 seconds, the air quality indicator
rings will change color based on the

The VeSync app also supports ECO
Auto Mode (see page 14).
Note: The percentage is approximate. The
sensor can only detect airborne particles, not
odors or gasses.
Your air purier automatically scans your air
and analyzes the quality. By default, the air
purier shows the overall clean air percentage
on the center of the display.
1. Tap to change the air quality
information shown on the center of the
display.
2. Keep tapping to cycle through air
quality readings for PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10,
and overall clean air percentage. For more
information, see PM Values (page 11).
3. When you stop tapping , the
current air quality reading will stay on the
display until you restart the air purier.
If you restart the air purier, the display
will again show the overall clean air
percentage.
Clean air percentage is an estimated
measurement of the amount of clean air in the
room, between 0% (bad) to 100% (very good).
This percentage is calculated by an algorithm,
based on:
The concentration of particles detected in the
air, including micro-particles.
The change in detected particles in the air
during purication.
“PM” stands for “Particulate Matter,” and usually
refers to airborne particles oating in your air,
including dust and most allergens. Many of
these particles are too small to be seen with
the naked eye, and without air purication,
they stay in the air much longer than heavier
or larger particles.
Your air purier’s AirSight Plus 2.0 Laser
Dust Sensor detects the amount of airborne
particles that are in a given space (µg/m³).
Generally, the lower the number, the better
your air quality.
background
12
When you press to show PM
readings on the display, the number is the
estimated amount of airborne particles (µg)
that are detected per 1 cubic meter (m³) of air
volume.
The PM value (1.0, 2.5, or 10) refers to
particulate matter (PM) less than or equal to
1, 2.5, or 10 microns (µm) in size (measured
by the diameter of the particle). For example,
PM2.5 refers to particulate matter that is 2.5
microns or smaller.

Vent Angle
Light Detection
Timer
You can set the vents on top of the air purier
to dierent angles to disperse puried air
throughout your room more eciently.
Puried air is typically dispersed in a xed
direction through the top of the air purier.
Having dierent vent angles is especially
eective in rooms with a lot of furniture or
other objects that can block airow, as well as
rooms with an unusual layout or high ceilings.
Light Detection uses the built-in light sensor to
automatically adjust air purier settings based
on the amount of light in the room.
You can set a timer for 1–12 hours.
1. By default, the vents disperse air at a
xed 75º angle.
2. Press to rotate the vents to a
dierent angle. The vents will cycle
through 45º, 60º, 75º, and 90º angles.
The display will automatically turn o when
the room gets dark. If the air purier is in
Auto Mode, it will not use the high fan speed
or Turbo Mode, even when the air quality is
poor, to avoid making too much noise.
When the room becomes light again, the air
purier will return to its previous settings.
The display will automatically turn back on,
and Auto Mode will no longer be limited.
1. Tap repeatedly to set a timer in 1-hour
increments, beginning with 1 hour. If you
don’t touch any buttons for 5 seconds, the
display will switch to showing the air quality
reading and the timer will start automatically.
Note: You can set a timer for 1–24 hours in the
VeSync app.
Note: If the vents start at a 75º angle, press
to change the vent angle to 90º. Press the button
repeatedly to rotate the vents down to 75º, 60º,
and 45º.
Note: Light Detection can be turned on/o in the
VeSync app (see page 14).
Note:
Do not unplug the air purier while it is
running. Tap to turn o the air purier,
then unplug.
The vents will not close if power is
unexpectedly cut o.
The angle of the vents can be adjusted
to any angle between 45º–90° in the
VeSync app.

ABOUT THE FILTER
The air purier uses a 3-stage ltration system to purify air.
A. Washable Pre-Filter
Captures large particles such as dust,
lint, bers, hair, and pet fur.
Maximizes the lter’s life by
protecting it.
Removable and washable to increase
ltering eciency (see Cleaning the
Pre-Filter, page 17).
B. Main Filter
99.97% ltration eciency for 0.1-
0.3μm airborne particulates, including
pollen, dust, and animal dander
allergens.
Traps small particles such as ne
A B C
Note: Carbon lter eciencies decrease with use. If your air purier isn’t as eective at ltering odors or
gasses, make sure to replace the lter (see page 19).
Note: Levoit has not tested its air puriers for eectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 and makes no claims
that these air puriers help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
dust, smoke particles, and allergens
such as pollen and pet dander.
C. High-Eciency Activated Carbon Filter
Physically adsorbs smoke, odors, and
fumes.
Filters compounds such as
formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia,
and hydrogen sulde.
Reduces household odors from food,
cigarettes, and pets.
Tested to eectively lter volatile
organic compounds (VOCs).
According to the CDC, portable Main ltration units that combine a Main lter with a powered
fan system are eective at cleaning air within spaces to reduce the concentration of airborne
particulates, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) viral particles.

Moisture may damage the lter. This air
purier should be used in an area with a
humidity level below 85% RH. If you use the
air purier in excessively humid areas, the
surface of the lter may become moldy.
Do not add essential oils to the air purier or
lter. The lter will become damaged by the
oil and will eventually release an unpleasant
smell. Do not use diusers near the air
purier.
The air change rate is how many times all of
the air in a room can be puried (or “changed”)
by the air purier in 1 hour. Air changes
per hour (ACH) are calculated with the
recommended room size assuming 8 ft / 2.4
m ceilings. For smaller rooms, the air change
per hour will increase. This air purier can
change air 5 times per hour at the max speed
in a single, closed room up to 549 ft² / 51 m².
This is measured at ACH 5. The air purier is
eective for larger rooms, but air purication
will take longer, with fewer air changes per
hour. For example, the air purier’s eective
range is 1,373 ft² / 128 m² based on 2 ACH, or
purifying the air in the room 2 times per hour.
This air purier has a Clean Air Delivery Rate of
354 cubic feet per minute (CFM), or 602 m³/h.
Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) measures the
eciency of an air purier by indicating the
volume of clean air that an air purier produces
per minute. This is based on removal of dust,
pollen, and smoke, which are the 3 most
common indoor air pollutants. The higher the
CADR, the more particles the air purier will
remove and the larger the area it can clean.

time to check your lter.
The VeSync app uses a scientic algorithm to
determine your lter life based on air quality,
amount of use, and other factors. The lter
life percentage is based on 12 hours of daily
use.

VESYNC APP TROUBLESHOOTING
My smart air purier isn’t connecting to the VeSync app.
Make sure your phone has Bluetooth® turned on and is not currently connected to another
Bluetooth device.
During the setup process, you must be on a secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi® network. Conrm that the
network is working correctly.
Make sure the Wi-Fi password you entered is correct.
There should be no spaces at the beginning or end of the password.
Test the password by connecting a dierent electronic device to the router.
If you’re manually typing in the SSID and password, double check that both are entered
correctly.
Try moving your air purier closer to the router. Your phone should be as close as possible
to your air purier.
Your router may need to be at a higher location, away from obstructions.
Make sure your air purier and router are away from appliances (such as microwave ovens,
refrigerators, electronic devices, etc.) to avoid signal interference.
If you’re using a VPN, make sure it’s turned o while setting up your air purier.
