Caution
Use of controls or adjustments or
performance of procedures other than
herein may result in hazardous radiation
exposure or other unsafe operation.
Always follow the instructions in this
chapter in sequence.
Assemble the turntable
The belt is pre-installed under the
platter.
Turn the platter upside down, pull
the belt over the motor pulley.
Release your hand from the belt
once the belt on the motor pulley.
Slowly rotate the platter about ten
times by hand in the direction of
the arrow. Get rid of any twists in
the belt and make sure the belt
rides smoothly.
Place the slip mat on the platter.
Insert the counterweight into the
tone arm in the direction of the
arrow.
Gently parallelly pull the stylus
cover forward to remove.
Unlock the tone arm clip.

Tip
Use the lift lever to raise the tone
arm.
Use the lift lever to lower the tone
arm on the record to begin playing.
Insert the dust cover hinges into the
hinge pockets at two sides of the
dust cover.
Use the �nger lift to align the stylus
over the record.
Turn the counterweight on the back
of tone arm until the tone arm is �at
and balanced.
Move the tone arm back to the tone
arm rest. ONLY turn the number ring
in the direction of the arrow, until the
number ‘0’ is in the top most position.
Hold and rotate both the number
ring and the counterweight in the
direction of the arrow 1 1/2
rotations until the number ‘1’ is in
the top most position.
The number ring and counterweight
move separately from each other. Do
not turn the counterweight in this
step.

Note
To remove the dust cover, grasp the two sides of
the dust cover and slowly lift upward to remove
the cover together with its hinges.

Insert the hinges completely into
the hinge bases located at the back
of the turntable.
Connect the RCA cable (not included)
to the external speaker.
RED plug - Plug into the
R-channel output.
WHITE plug - Plug into the
L-channel output.
This product has a built-in phono
equalizer feature. You can use the
product even if you do not have a
built-in phono ampli�er. Use the
pre-ampli�er selector switch on the
back of the turntable to set the
output as below.
If the audio device has a PHONO
input jack, set the switch to PHONO.
An audio signal from the MM
cartridge is output from the audio
cable without passing through the
phono preamp from the turntable.
The phono preamp for the audio
device is used.
If the audio device does not have a
PHONO input jack, set the switch to
LINE. The audio signal that passes
through the phono preamp from the
turntable is output from the audio
cable.
Tip
In BT/CD mode, using the
pre-ampli�er selector switch is
not necessary.

Place the unit on a �at and level
surface.
Place the slipmat on the platter
before placing the vinyl record.
Use the speed switch next to tone
arm to adjust the speed (33-1/3,
45 RPM) to match the record.
Phono operation
Note
The turntable switches to standby mode
after 15 minutes inactive.

Caution
Risk of product damage! Ensure that the
power supply voltage corresponds to the
voltage printed on the back or the under-
side of the unit.
Risk of electric shock! Before you plug the
adaptor, make sure that the plug is �xed
securely, when you unplug the adaptor,
always pull the plug, never pull the cord.
Before you connect the adaptor, make
sure that you have completed all the
other connections.
Connect power
Connect the power adapter to the
wall outlet.
Press to power on, and go
to last source.
Press the PAIRING/ button to switch
the source.
Phono/Bluetooth /Disc.
The unit switches to standby.
Press the button to switch the unit
on.

Connect the headphone
Connect the headphone/ earphone
through the headphone jack on the
back of your turntable.

Replace the stylus
Place your �ngers at the tip of the
stylus and push down to the
direction ’A’.
Removing the stylus from the tone arm:

Lower the lift lever, and lock the
tone arm clip to �x it.
Install the stylus cover to protect
the stylus tip.
Use the lift lever to raise the tone
arm, and use the �nger lift to move
the tone arm back on the tone arm
rest.
Do not bend or force the stylus into
the cartridge.
Do not touch the stylus tip to avoid
injury to your hand.
Turn off the unit's power before you
replace the stylus.

the other edge by pressing toward
direction ‘C’, and push the stylus up

Check the volume.
Check if the source is switched to the
Phono properly.
Check if the stylus cover is removed
properly.
Check if the tone arm lift lever is
already pushed down to make it fall
on the record.
Bluetooth device cannot be connected

repair the system yourself. If you
encounter problems when using this
device, check the following points
before requesting service. lf the problem
remains unsolved, go to the Philips web
page (www.philips.com/support). When
you contact Philips, make sure that the
device is nearby and the model number
and serial number are availaple.
Check if power adaptor of the unit is
connected improperly.
Check if there is power at the AC outlet.
No power
No sound
Check the volume.
Check if the source is selected properly.
Check if connecting cable is connected
properly.
Decline in turntable audio performance
Check if the turntable stylus is worn
out. Replace the stylus.
The audio quality is poor after connec-
tion with a Bluetooth-enabled device.
The Bluetooth reception is poor.
Move the device closer to this unit or
remove any obstacle between them.
Record sounds too fast or too slow
Check if the speed is selected
properly to match the vinyl record.
No response from the unit
Disconnect and reconnect the power
adaptor, then turn on the unit again.
As a power-saving feature, the system
switches off automatically 15 minutes
after track play reaches the end and no
control is operated.
