1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure the electricity has been

turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before you begin.

2. All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code

ANSI/NFPA 70 and local electrical codes. Electrical installation should

be performed by a qualied licensed electrician.

3. The outlet box and support structure must be securely mounted and

capable of reliably supporting a minimum of 35 lb (15.9 kg). Use

only UL Listed outlet boxes marked “Acceptable for Fan Support of

35 lb (15.9 kg) or less.”

4. Do not place objects in the path of the blades.

5. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, use

caution when working around or cleaning the fan.

6. After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should be

turned upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box. The

wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the

equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box.

7. All set screws must be checked and retightened where

necessary before installation.

8. Use only with light kits marked “Suitable for use in damp locations.”

bend the blade brackets (also referred to as anges)

during assembly or after installation. Do not insert

objects in the path of the blades.

The supplier warrants the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of shipment from the factory for a

lifetime after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The supplier warrants that the light kit, excluding any glass, to be free from defects in

workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of ve years after the date of purchase by the original purchaser.

The supplier also warrants that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or acrylic blades, to be free from defects in workmanship and material at the

time of shipment from the factory for a period of two years after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. We agree to correct such defects

without charge or at our option replace with a comparable or superior model if the product is returned. To obtain warranty service, you must present

a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. All costs of removing and reinstalling the product are your responsibility. Damage to any part, such as by

accident, misuse, improper installation, or by afxing any accessories, is not covered by this warranty. Because of varying climatic conditions this

warranty does not cover any changes in brass nish, including rusting, pitting, corroding, tarnishing, or peeling. Brass nishes of this type give their

longest useful life when protected from varying weather conditions. A certain amount of “wobble” is normal and should not be considered a defect.

Installation

MOUNTING OPTIONS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or

personal injury, mount to outlet box marked “Acceptable

for fan support of 35 lb (15.9 kg) or less”, and use

screws provided with the outlet box. An outlet box

commonly used for the support of lighting xtures may

not be acceptable for fan support and may need to be

replaced. If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician.

If your ceiling fan does not have an existing UL Listed mounting

box, then install one using the following instructions:

□ Disconnect the power by removing the fuses or turning off

the circuit breakers.

□ Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure. Use

the appropriate fasteners and materials. The outlet box and

support structure must be securely mounted and capable of

reliably supporting a minimum of 35 lb (15.9 kg). Use only UL

Listed outlet boxes marked “Acceptable for fan support of

35 lb (15.9 kg) or less.” Do not use a plastic outlet box.

The illustrations below show three different ways to mount the

outlet box.

To hang your fan where there is an existing xture but no ceiling joist,

you may need an installation hanger bar as shown above (available at

any Home Depot store).

Assembly - Hanging the Fan

Attaching the mounting plate to the

electrical box

□ Turn the power off.

□ Loosen the two mounting screws (GG) supplied with the

outlet box, but do not remove the screws.

□ Securely attach the mounting plate (A) to the outlet box

by sliding the mounting plate (A) over the two mounting

screws (GG) supplied with the outlet box.

□ Pull the 120-volt supply wires (the black, white and ground

wires) out of the outlet box (FF) and through the hole in the

mounting plate (A) and lay them to the side.

□ Securely tighten the two mounting screws (GG).

Hanging the fan motor assembly

□ Attach the trim ring (B) to the fan motor assembly (C) at the

opening of the motor housing. Make sure the slots of trim

ring (B) are on top.

□ Carefully lift the fan motor assembly (C) and hang the fan

motor assembly (C) on the hook of the mounting plate (A)

by utilizing one of the holes at the outer rim of the motor

housing so that it is securely suspended.

□ Connect the wiring to your fan according to step 3 “Making

the Electrical Connections”.

Installing the receiver

□ Spread the wires apart so that the green and whites are one side

of the outlet box and the black wire is on the other side.

□ Connect the green fan wires to the household ground wire (this

may be a green or bare wire) using a wire connecting nut (AA).

□ Connect the receiver (F) black wire to the household black (hot)

wire using a wire connecting nut (AA).

□ Connect the receiver (F) red wire to the household red wire using

a wire connecting nut (AA).

□ Connect the receiver (F) white wire to the household white

(neutral) wire using a wire connecting nut (AA).

□ Secure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.

□ Connect the receiver (F) to the fan by connecting the molded

adaptor plug from receiver (F) with molded adaptor from the fan

motor assembly (C) together.

□ Push the receiver (F) into the bracket on the mounting plate (A)

as shown, at side towards the ceiling.

WARNING: Each wire nut supplied with this fan is

designed to accept up to one 12-gauge house wire

and two wires from the fan. If you have larger than

12-gauge house wiring or more than one house wire

to connect to the fan wiring, consult an electrician for

the proper size wire nuts to use.

IMPORTANT: Use the wire connecting nuts (AA) supplied

with your fan. Secure the connectors with electrical tape

and ensure there are no loose strands or connections.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electrical

shock, remember to disconnect power. The electrical

wiring must meet all local and national electrical code

requirements. The electrical source and fan must

be 110/120 volt, 60HZ. Do not use this product in

conjunction with any variable wall control. Incorrect

wire connection can damage this receiver.

CAUTION: If other fan wires are different color, have this

unit installed by a licensed electrician.

CAUTION: Do not pull on or cut the receiver leads

shorter. Do not drop or bump the unit.

NOTE: 3-wire receiver will enable independent control

of fan and light at the wall switch if house wiring has

separate household red and black power wires.

NOTE: If your house wiring does not have a red switch

wire, please connect the receiver black wire and receiver

red wire to the house black wire and secure using a

plastic wire nut.

Installing the motor assembly

□ Remove two of the four screws (located diagonally from each

other) (NN) from the top of the mounting plate (A) and loosen

the other two screws (NN).

□ Align the two key slots in the top of the fan motor assembly (C)

with the two loosened screws (NN) on the mounting plate (A).

Push the fan motor assembly (C) up and turn it clockwise to

lock in the mounting plate (A). Tighten the two screws.

□ Install the two screws that were removed at the beginning

of this step into the remaining two holes and tighten the four

screws rmly.

□ Install the trim ring (B) by aligning the ring’s slots with the

screws on the mounting plate (A). Rotate the ring clockwise to

lock in place.

□ Attach a blade (D) to the fan motor assembly (C) by inserting

the blade (D) into the slot in the side of the fan motor assembly

is correctly installed. Ensure the blade is snapped into locking

clip (LL) completely by pulling the fan blade away from the

motor assembly.

□ Repeat these steps for the remaining blades (D).

Removing the blades from the motor

□ Pull the blade locking pin down and turn to the right. Make sure the pin is engaged with the black slot properly.

□ To remove the blade (D) from the fan motor assembly (C), squeeze the tab of the locking clip (LL) towards the direction of blades and pull the

fan blade away from the motor housing.

□ Repeat these steps for the remaining blades (D).

□ Connect the wires from the light kit assembly (E) to the wires

from the fan motor assembly (C) by connecting the molded

adaptor plugs together. Carefully tuck all wires and splices into

the switch cup and connect the safety cable (SS) from the light

kit assembly (E) to the hook from motor assembly (C).

□ Push the light kit assembly (E) up to the motor assembly (C) by

aligning the magnet part of the motor assembly (C) until it is

secure.

Preparing the Remote Control

Preparing the remote control

□ Conrm that the power to the fan is off at either the wall switch or

breaker box.

□ Return power to the fan and, within 30 seconds, press and hold the

learn button for 1-2 seconds and release.

□ If pairing is successful, the blades will begin to spin and the light will

also ash.

NOTE: The remote control has already been paired to the

ceiling fan for your convenience. If the remote control does not

communicate with the fan, follow the pairing instructions below.

NOTE: The remote control battery will weaken with age and

should be replaced before leaking takes place, as this will damage

the remote control. Dispose of used battery properly and keep the

battery out of the reach of children.

Pairing one remote to one ceiling fan

□ Conrm that the power to the fan is off at either the wall switch or

breaker box.

□ Turn the power to the fan on at the breaker box or wall switch and,

within 30 seconds, press and hold the “Learn” button for 10 seconds

and release. Once pairing is successful, the blades will begin to spin

and the light will also ash.

□ Repeat the above process for the remote controls you want to work

with this fan.

Pairing multiple remote controls to one

ceiling fan

NOTE: The fan can be controlled by up to three remote controls. To

order extra remote controls, please call customer service 1-800-

986-3460.

NOTE: The fan can only be controlled by 3 remote controls

maximum at the same time after “Learning”. If you pair a fourth

remote control to the fan, the rst remote control will be erased

from the receiver memory.

NOTE: The default setting for the remote display is °F (Fahrenheit),

press the “Learn” button once to change settings to °C (Celsius).

Assembly - Mounting the remote wall cradle

1a. Attaching over a standard toggle switch

□ Remove the two screws from the toggle switch face plate.

□ Place the toggle switch spacer over the toggle switch face

plate and align the two large holes of the toggle switch spacer

with the holes in the face plate. Secure the toggle switch

spacer to the face plate using the two included machine

screws (BB).

□ Attach the remote wall cradle (I) to the toggle switch spacer

using the included two short tapered screws (CC). Screw a

short tapered screw (CC) into the top hole and bottom hole of

the wall cradle and into the toggle switch spacer until tight.

NOTE: Screw wall anchors are included for extra support. The

included screws are designed to screw easily into the wall. If

you would like a more permanent or secure hold, install the wall

anchors prior to attaching the wall cradle to the wall.

1b. Attaching over a paddle switch

□ Remove the two screws from the paddle switch face plate.

□ Place the remote wall cradle (I) over the paddle switch and align

the two holes of the remote wall cradle (I) with the holes in the

face plate. Secure the remote wall cradle (I) to the face plate

using the two included machine screws (BB).

1c. Attaching to the wall

□ Position the remote wall cradle (I) in the desired position

and attach to the wall using the included two long tapered

screws (DD).

NOTE: The remote wall cradle is designed to allow you to

access an existing switch. The remote wall cradle can be

mounted on the wall or to the face plate of a standard toggle

switch or a paddle switch. Follow the instructions below for the

option that best suits your needs.

Summer - (Forward) A downward airow creates a

cooling effect. This allows you to set your air conditioner

on a higher setting without affecting your comfort.

Operating - Your Fan and Remote Control

Remote Control - Your fan is equipped with a remote control to operate

the speed and lights of your new ceiling fan.

Power fan + light:

Press and release “ALL” button to turn the fan and light on or off.

Power Uplight:

Press and release to turn uplight on or off.

Light level:

Press and release the “+” button to increase the light level.

Press and release the “-” button to decrease the light level.

Power Downlight:

Press and release to turn downlight on or off.

LED Panel display:

Displays temperature and fan/light settings.

Power fan:

Press and release the button to turn the fan on or off.

Fan speed:

Press and release the “+” button to increase the fan speed.

Press and release the “-” button to decrease the fan speed.

Breeze mode:

Press the button to enable Breeze; this will change your fan randomly,

simulating a relaxing breeze. Holding the Breeze button for 3 seconds will

cancel this function.

Thermostat Temperature:

This setting allows the fan to automatically turn on and off at a previously

set room temperature.

“+” - Press 1 time to adjust the set temperature + 1°, press and hold to

raise the set temperature multiple degrees.

“-” - Press 1 time to adjust the set temperature - 1°, press and hold to lower

the set temperature multiple degrees.

Digital display shows the set temperature when + or - is pressed.

Timer:

While the fan is on, press “2 HR”: turns on a 2-hour run timer.

While the fan is on, press “4 HR”: turns on a 4-hour run timer.

While the fan is on, press “8 HR”: turns on a 8-hour run timer.

Fan direction:

Speed setting for warm or cool weather depends on factors such as the

room size, ceiling height, number of fans and so on.

Hold the SUMMER button for 3 seconds to rotate fan forward.

Hold the WINTER button for 3 seconds to rotate fan in reverse.

Light Settings:

Select Uplight or Downlight by pressing and releasing the uplight or

downlight button.

MANU: Press and release to change the color of the selected light to the

next color in the programmed sequence.

AUTO: Press and release to set the light into fade mode to automatically

cycle through the light’s color sequence.

TEMP: Press and release to cycle through the preset color temperature

settings of the light from 2700K (warm white) to 6500K (daylight deluxe).

NOTE: On start up your ceiling fan will oscillate back and forth.

This is NORMAL OPERATION for DC ceiling fans as it goes through

its calibration cycle. The fan is NOT DEFECTIVE.

Winter - (Reverse) An upward airow moves warm air off

of the ceiling. This allows you to set your heating unit on

a lower setting without affecting your comfort.

NOTE: The fan must be on and rotating prior to pressing the winter

or summer button. The fan will not reverse direction if the fan is

not moving.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution

The fan will not start. □ Check the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers.

□ Check to make sure the wall switch is in the on position if applicable.

□ Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing.

□ Check the battery in the remote control.

□ Ensure you are in the normal range of 10-20 feet.

□ Ensure the dip switch settings are the same on the remote control and receiver.

□ Remember to turn off the power supply before checking the dip switch settings.

The fan is noisy. □ Ensure all motor housing screws are snug.

□ Ensure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight.

□ Ensure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing.

□ Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time.

□ If you are using the ceiling fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight. Check that the light bulbs are also secure.

□ Ensure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling.

□ Ensure your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box.

The fan wobbles. □ Check that all blade and blade arm screws are secure.

□ Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip

of one of the blades. Measure from a point on the center of each blade to the point on the ceiling. Rotate the fan until the next blade is

positioned for measurement. Repeat for each blade. Any measurement deviation should be within 1/8”. Run the fan for ten minutes. If

the fan continues to wobble please contact Customer Service and a balancing kit will be sent to you at no charge.

The fan moves backwards and

forwards when turned on

□ This is normal start-up procedure for DC motor fans. The partial movement during start-up is the result of the DC motor aligning the

internal magnetic poles for proper motor operation. This design saves electricity and allows the fan to operate much more quietly than

standard AC motor fans.

□ Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade

attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling.

□ Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage

the motor or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish. The

plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.

□ You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a

light application of shoe polish.

□ You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings.

WARNING: Make sure the power is off before cleaning

your fan.

1. Para disminuir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, asegúrate de cortar

la electricidad en el cortacircuitos o la caja de fusibles antes de

comenzar.

2. Todo el cableado tiene que cumplir con el Código Nacional de

Electricidad ANSI/NFPA 70 y con los códigos eléctricos locales. La

instalación eléctrica debe hacerse por un electricista calicado con

licencia.

3. La caja eléctrica y la estructura de soporte tienen que montarse de

forma segura para poder sostener con conanza y como mínimo

35 lb (15.9 kg). Usa solo cajas eléctricas aprobadas por UL y

marcadas como “Apropiada para sostener ventiladores de 35 lb

(15.9 kg) o menos”.

4. No coloques objetos en la trayectoria de las aspas.

5. Para evitar lesiones físicas o daños al ventilador y otros artículos,

ten cuidado al limpiarlo o al trabajar cerca de él.

6. Después de concluir las conexiones eléctricas, debes voltear los

conductores empalmados hacia arriba y meterlos con cuidado en la

caja eléctrica. Los cables deben quedar separados, con el cable y el

conductor de conexión a tierra del equipo hacia uno de los lados de

la caja eléctrica.

7. Antes de la instalación, todos los tornillos de fijación tienen que

comprobarse y reajustarse donde sea necesario.

8. Úselo únicamente con kits de luces marcados como “Apto para uso

en lugares húmedos”.

□ Desconecta la electricidad.

□ Aoja, sin quitarlos, los dos tornillos de montaje (GG)

incluidos con la caja eléctrica.

□ Fija con seguridad la placa de montaje (A) a la caja

eléctrica deslizando aquella (A) sobre los dos tornillos (GG)

incluidos con la caja eléctrica.

□ Saca los cables de alimentación de 120 V (negro, blanco y

a tierra) fuera de la caja eléctrica (FF) y a través del oricio

en la placa de montaje (A); colócalos a un costado.

□ Ajusta rmemente los dos tornillos de montaje (GG).

motor del ventilador

□ Fija el aro de la moldura (B) al conjunto del motor del

ventilador (C) en la abertura de la carcasa del motor.

Asegura que las ranuras del aro de la moldura (B) queden en

la parte superior.

□ Levanta con cuidado el conjunto del motor del ventilador (C)

y cuelga el conjunto del motor del ventilador (C) del gancho

de la placa de montaje (A) utilizando uno de los oricios

de la moldura exterior de la carcasa del motor para dejarlo

suspendido de forma segura.

□ Conecta el cableado a tu ventilador como indica el paso 3

"Cómo hacer las conexiones eléctricas".

□ Separa los cables de modo que el cable verde y el cable blanco queden

en un lado de la caja eléctrica y el cable negro en el otro.

□ Conecta los cables verdes del ventilador al cable de conexión a tierra de

la casa (este puede ser verde o pelado) con una tuerca de conexión de

cables (AA).

□ Conecta el cable negro del receptor (F) al cable negro (vivo) de la casa

usando una tuerca de conexión de cables (AA).

□ Conecta el cable rojo del receptor (F) al cable rojo de la casa usando una

tuerca de conexión de cables (AA).

□ Conecta el cable blanco del receptor (F) al cable blanco de la casa,

usando una tuerca de conexión de cables (AA).

□ Asegura cada tuerca de conexión de cables con cinta de electricista.

□ Conecta el receptor (F) al ventilador conectando el enchufe del

adaptador moldeado del receptor (F) con el adaptador moldeado del

conjunto del motor del ventilador (C).

□ Empuja el receptor (F) dentro del soporte sobre la placa de

montaje (A) tal como se muestra, con el lado plano hacia el techo.

ADVERTENCIA: Cada tuerca para cable incluida con este

ventilador está diseñada para aceptar un cable doméstico

de calibre 12 o menos y dos cables del ventilador. Si tu

cableado doméstico tiene calibre mayor de 12 o más de un

cable para conectar al cableado del ventilador, consulta a un

electricista para saber el tamaño adecuado de las tuercas a

usar para los cables.

IMPORTANTE: Usa las tuercas de conexión de cables (AA)

incluidas con tu ventilador. Asegura los conectores con cinta de

electricista y asegúrate de que no haya conexiones ni cables

sueltos.

ADVERTENCIA: Para disminuir el riesgo de descarga

eléctrica e incendios, recuerda desconectar la corriente. El

cableado eléctrico tiene que cumplir todos los requisitos

de los códigos eléctricos nacionales y locales. La fuente de

electricidad y el ventilador tienen que ser de 110/120 V y

60 HZ. No utilizar este producto con ningún control variable

de pared. Conectar el cableado de manera incorrecta dañará

este receptor.

CUIDADO: Si otros cables del ventilador son de color diferente,

esta unidad tiene que instalarse por un electricista con licencia.

CUIDADO: No hales ni recortes los cables terminales del

receptor. No dejes caer ni golpees la unidad.

NOTA: El receptor de 3 cables permitirá controlar de manera

independiente el ventilador y la luz en el interruptor de pared si

el cableado del hogar cuenta con cables de alimentación rojo y

negro separados.

NOTA: Si el cableado de tu hogar no tiene un cable rojo para

interruptor, conecta el cable negro y el cable rojo del receptor

al cable negro del hogar y asegúralos con una tuerca plástica

para cables.

Cómo instalar el conjunto del motor

□ Quita dos de los cuatro tornillos (ubicados en diagonal uno de otro)

(NN) de la parte superior de la placa de montaje (A) y aoja los otros

dos (NN).

□ Alinea las dos ranuras tipo ojo de cerradura en la parte superior del

conjunto del motor del ventilador (C) con los dos tornillos sueltos

(NN) en la placa de montaje (A). Empuja el conjunto del motor del

ventilador (C) hacia arriba y girarlo hacia la derecha para jarlo en la

placa de montaje (A). Aprieta los dos tornillos.

□ Instala los dos tornillos retirados en el inicio de este paso en los dos

oricios libres y aprieta rmemente los cuatro tornillos.

□ Instala el aro de la moldura (B) alineando las ranuras del aro con los

tornillos en la placa de montaje (A). Gira el aro hacia la derecha para

jarlo en su lugar.

Cómo conectar las aspas al motor

□ Fija un aspa (D) al conjunto del motor del ventilador (C) insertando

el aspa (D) en la ranura en el costado del conjunto del motor del

ventilador (C) hasta que se detenga. El sujetador de bloqueo (LL)

hará clic cuando el aspa esté instalada correctamente. Asegúrate de

que las aspas quedan completamente aseguradas en el sujetador de

bloqueo (LL) tirando de las aspas del ventilador para separarlas del

conjunto del motor.

□ Repite estos pasos para ensamblar las aspas restantes (D).

Cómo desconectar las aspas del motor:

□ Hala hacia abajo el pasador de cierre del aspa y gíralo hacia la derecha. Asegúrate de que el pasador esté bien enganchado en la ranura negra.

□ Para retirar el aspa (D) del conjunto del motor del ventilador (C), aprieta la pestaña del sujetador de bloqueo (LL) hacia la dirección de las aspas y hala

el aspa para separarla de la carcasa del motor.

□ Repite estos pasos para ensamblar las aspas restantes (D).

□ Conecta los cables del conjunto del kit de luz (E) a los cables

del conjunto del motor del ventilador (C) juntando los enchufes

de adaptador moldeado. Coloca con cuidado todos los cables y

empalmes dentro de la caja del interruptor y conecta el cable de

seguridad (SS) del conjunto del kit de luz (E) al gancho del conjunto

del motor (C).

□ Empuja el conjunto del kit de luz (E) hacia el conjunto del motor (C)

alineando la parte magnética del conjunto del motor (C) hasta que

quede seguro.

Cómo preparar el control remoto

□ Conrma que la electricidad del ventilador está desconectada en el

interruptor de pared o en el cortacircuitos.

□ Vuelve a encender el ventilador y, antes de 30 segundos, mantén presionado

el botón de aprendizaje durante 1 a 2 segundos y suéltalo.

□ Si la conguración es correcta, las aspas comenzarán a girar y la luz también

parpadeará.

NOTA: El control remoto ya ha sido congurado con el ventilador de techo

para tu conveniencia. Si el control remoto no se comunica con el ventilador,

sigue las instrucciones de conguración que aparecen a continuación.

NOTA: La batería del control remoto se debilitará con el tiempo y debe ser

reemplazada antes de que se produzca alguna fuga, ya que esto dañará

el control remoto. Mantén la batería fuera del alcance de los niños y

deséchala adecuadamente tras agotarse.

Congurar un control remoto a un ventilador

de techo

□ Conrma que la electricidad del ventilador está desconectada en

el interruptor de pared o en el cortacircuitos.

□ Enciende el ventilador en la caja de interruptores o en el interruptor de

pared y, en 30 segundos, mantén presionado el botón "Aprender" durante

10 segundos y suéltalo. Si el emparejamiento es correcto, las aspas

comenzarán a girar y la luz también parpadeará.

□ Repite el proceso anterior para los controles remotos que deseas que

funcionen con este ventilador.

Congurar varios controles remotos a

un ventilador de techo

NOTA: El ventilador se puede controlar con hasta tres controles remotos.

Para ordenar controles remotos adicionales, llama a Servicio al Cliente al

1-800-986-3460.

NOTA: El ventilador sólo puede ser controlado por 3 controles remotos

como máximo al mismo tiempo después del "Aprendizaje". Si conguras

un cuarto control remoto con el ventilador, el primer control remoto se

borrará de la memoria del receptor.

NOTA: El ajuste predeterminado del la pantalla del control remoto es °F

(grados Fahrenheit), presiona el botón "Learn" (Aprendizaje) una vez para

cambiar los ajustes a °C (grados Celsius).

Ensamblaje - Montaje del soporte de pared para control remoto

1a. Como jar sobre un interruptor de

palanca estándar

□ Retira los dos tornillos de la placa frontal del interruptor de

palanca.

□ Coloca el separador del interruptor de palanca sobre la placa

frontal del interruptor de palanca y alinea los dos agujeros

grandes del separador del interruptor de palanca con los agujeros

de la placa frontal. Fija el espaciador del interruptor de palanca a

la placa frontal con los dos tornillos maquinados incluidos (BB).

□ Fija el soporte de pared para control remoto (I) al espaciador

del interruptor de palanca utilizando los dos tornillos cónicos

cortos incluidos (CC). Atornilla un tornillo cónico corto (CC) en el

oricio superior y el oricio inferior del soporte de pared y en el

espaciador del interruptor de palanca hasta que quede apretado.

NOTA: Se incluyen anclajes de pared atornillados para soporte

adicional. Los tornillos incluidos están diseñados para atornillarse

fácilmente en la pared. Si deseas una sujeción más permanente o

segura, instala los anclajes de pared antes de jar el soporte de pared

a la pared.

1b. Como jar sobre un interruptor de

paleta

□ Retira los dos tornillos de la placa frontal del interruptor de paleta.

□ Coloca el soporte de pared para control remoto (I) sobre el

interruptor de paleta y alinea los dos oricios del soporte de pared

para control remoto (I) con los oricios de la placa frontal. Fija el

soporte de pared para control remoto a la placa frontal con los dos

tornillos maquinados incluidos (BB).

1c. Cómo jar en la pared

□ Coloca el soporte de pared para control remoto (I) en la

posición deseada y fíjalo a la pared con los tornillos cónicos

largos incluidos (DD).

NOTA: El soporte de pared para control remoto está diseñado para

permitirte acceder a un interruptor disponible. El soporte de pared para

control remoto puede montarse en la pared o en la placa frontal de un

interruptor de palanca estándar o de un interruptor de paleta. Sigue

las siguientes instrucciones para la opción que mejor se adapte a tus

necesidades.

un efecto refrigerante. Esto permite jar tu aire acondicionado

en una conguración más alta sin afectar tu comodidad.

Cómo usar tu ventilador y el control remoto

Control remoto - Tu ventilador está equipado con un control remoto que

controla la velocidad y las luces.

Encendido del ventilador + luz:

Presiona y suelta el botón “TODO” para encender o apagar el ventilador y la luz.

Encendido de luz ascendente:

Presiona y suelta el botón inmediatamente para encender o apagar la luz

ascendente.

Nivel de luz:

Presiona y suelta el botón “+” para aumentar la velocidad del ventilador.

Presiona y suelta el botón “-” para reducir la velocidad del ventilador.

Encendido de luz descendente:

Presiona y suelta el botón inmediatamente para encender o apagar la luz

descendente.

Pantalla con panel LED:

Muestra los ajustes de temperatura y ventilador/luz.

Encendido del ventilador:

Presiona y suelta el botón para encender o apagar el ventilador.

Velocidad del ventilador:

Presiona y suelta el botón “+” para aumentar la velocidad del ventilador.

Presiona y suelta el botón “-” para reducir la velocidad del ventilador.

Modo Breeze (Brisa):

Presiona este botón para activar el modo Breeze (Brisa), esto cambiará la velocidad

del ventilador al azar, simulando una brisa relajante. Mantener presionado el botón

del temporizador por 3 segundos cancelará esta función.

Temperatura del termostato:

Esta conguración permite que el ventilador se encienda y apague automáticamente

para mantener la temperatura ambiente previamente establecida.

“+” - Presiona 1 vez para ajustar la temperatura establecida + 1°; mantén

presionado para aumentar varios grados la temperatura establecida.

“-” - Presiona 1 vez para ajustar la temperatura establecida - 1°; mantén presionado

para bajar varios grados la temperatura establecida.

La pantalla digital muestra la temperatura programada cuando se presiona + o -.

Temporizador:

Con el ventilador encendido, presiona "2 HR": activa el temporizador con 2 horas de

funcionamiento.

Con el ventilador encendido, presiona "4 HR": activa el temporizador con 4 horas de

funcionamiento.

Con el ventilador encendido, presiona "8 HR": activa el temporizador con 8 horas de

funcionamiento.

Dirección del ventilador:

Las conguraciones de velocidad para clima cálido o frío dependen de factores tales

como tamaño de la habitación, altura del techo, cantidad de ventiladores y otros.

Mantén presionado el botón SUMMER (Verano) durante 3 segundos para hacer girar

el ventilador hacia delante.

Mantén presionado el botón WINTER (Invierno) durante 3 segundos para hacer girar

el ventilador en sentido inverso.

Ajustes de luz:

Selecciona luz ascendente o luz descendente presionando y soltando el botón de luz

ascendente o luz descendente.

MANU: Presiona y suelta para cambiar el color de la luz seleccionada al siguiente

color de la secuencia programada.

AUTO: Presiona y suelta para poner la luz en modo de atenuado y pasar

automáticamente por la secuencia de colores de la luz.

TEMP: Presiona y suelta para cambiar entre los ajustes preestablecidos de

temperatura de color de la luz, desde 2700K (blanco cálido) hasta 6500K

(luz diurna deluxe).

NOTA: Al encenderlo, tu ventilador de techo oscilará hacia adelante y hacia

atrás. Esto es un FUNCIONAMIENTO NORMAL en ventiladores de techo de CC,

ya que realiza un ciclo de calibración. El ventilador NO ESTÁ DEFECTUOSO.

Invierno - (Reversa) Un ujo de aire ascendente mueve el aire

cálido lejos del techo. Esto permite jar tu unidad de calefacción

en conguración más baja sin afectar tu comodidad.

NOTA: El ventilador debe estar encendido y girando antes de

presionar el botón de Winter (invierno) o Summer (verano). Si el

ventilador no está en movimiento, no cambiará de dirección.

El ventilador no enciende. □ Verica los fusibles o cortacircuitos principales y secundarios.

□ Asegúrate de que el interruptor de pared esté en posición de encendido (ON), si corresponde.

□ Verica las conexiones de cables en línea al ventilador y las conexiones de cables del interruptor en la caja correspondiente.

□ Revisa la batería del control remoto.

□ Asegúrate de que estén en el rango normal de 10 a 20 pies.

□ Asegúrate de que las conguraciones del interruptor en línea sean las mismas para el control remoto y el receptor.

□ Recuerda desconectar la electricidad antes de vericar las conguraciones del interruptor.

El ventilador hace ruido. □ Asegúrate de que todos los tornillos de la carcasa del motor estén ajustados.

□ Verica que los tornillos que unen el soporte de aspa al cubo del motor estén bien apretados.

□ Asegura que las conexiones de tuerca de cable no choquen unas con otras ni con la pared interior de la caja del interruptor.

□ Deja que transcurra un período de “adaptación” de 24 horas. La mayoría de los ruidos asociados con un ventilador nuevo desaparecen

en ese período.

□ Si usas el kit de luz de ventilador de techo, asegura que los tornillos que sujetan el vidrio estén bien ajustados. Verica que las bombi-

llas estén bien apretadas.

□ Controla que la cubierta quede a corta distancia del techo. No debe tocar el techo.

□ Asegúrate de que la caja eléctrica quede bien ajustada y se hayan instalado almohadillas aislantes de goma entre la placa de montaje y

la caja eléctrica.

El ventilador oscila. □ Verica que todas las aspas y los tornillos de sus brazos estén bien ajustados.

□ La mayoría de los problemas de oscilación del ventilador se debe a que las aspas no están al mismo nivel. Verica este nivel

seleccionando un punto en el techo sobre la punta de una de las aspas. Mide desde un punto en el centro de cada aspa al punto en

el techo. Gira el ventilador hasta que la siguiente aspa quede en posición para medir. Repite el procedimiento para cada aspa. Las

desviaciones de la medición no deben pasar de 1/8”. Deja que el ventilador funcione durante diez minutos. Si continúa oscilando,

comunicarlo al servicio al cliente y te enviarán un kit de compensación de aspas sin costo alguno.

El ventilador se mueve hacia atrás y

hacia delante al encenderse.

□ Este es el procedimiento normal de arranque para ventiladores con motor de CC. El movimiento parcial durante el arranque se deba a

que el motor de CC está alineando los polos magnéticos internos para su funcionamiento adecuado. Este diseño ahorra electricidad y

permite que el ventilador funcione más silenciosamente que los ventiladores estándar con motor de CA.

□ Debido al movimiento natural del ventilador, algunas conexiones pueden aojarse. Revisa dos veces al año las conexiones de soporte,

los soportes y los accesorios de las aspas. Comprueba que estén seguros. No es necesario desmontar el ventilador del techo.

□ Limpia el ventilador con frecuencia para que luzca como nuevo con el paso de los años. No uses agua al limpiar, esto puede dañar

el motor o la madera, o causar descargas eléctricas. Usa solo un cepillo suave o un paño sin pelusas para evitar rayar el acabado. El

revestimiento está sellado con laca para minimizar la decoloración u opacidad.

□ Puedes aplicar a la madera una na capa de pulimento para muebles y dar así más protección y belleza. Cubre los rayones diminutos

con una ligera aplicación de lustrador para calzado.

□ No necesitas lubricar tu ventilador. El motor tiene cojinetes de bola sellados y permanentemente lubricados.

ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrate de que la corriente esté

apagada antes de limpiar el ventilador.

Mantenimiento y limpieza

Este equipo fue sometido a prueba y se determinó que cumple con los límites establecidos para un dispositivo digital Clase B según la Parte 15 de las Normas FCC. Estos límites fueron

establecidos para dar protección razonable contra la interferencia dañina en uso residencial. Este equipo genera, consume y puede irradiar energía de radiofrecuencia; si no se instala y
