Step 1: Connect the battery

Connect the red alligator clip to the positive electrode of the battery and the black clip to the negative electrode. The device supports reverse polarity protection: even if the positive and negative polarity is wrong, it will not damage the equipment or the battery.

Note: If the text flashes “The clip is not properly clamped please reconnect”, it means the connection is not secure — please reconnect the clips.

Step 2: Select the battery type

Press the button to switch between battery types. The currently selected type will flash on the screen. Once the correct type is shown, press the next button to proceed.

Available battery types: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 (refer to the battery manufacturer’s specifications for the correct type).

Step 3: Enter CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)

Click or long press the adjustment button to continuously increase or decrease the CCA value. When the desired value is displayed, press the confirm button to complete the entry and start the test.

Step 4: View the test results

After the test is finished, the main parameters are shown on the screen. Press the view button to cycle through additional test results.

To reselect the battery type or perform another test, long press the reset button . Press the back button to return to the previous step.

Test Parameters & Interpretation

Battery Voltage (VOL04)

Measures the current voltage of the battery.

Internal Resistance (R03)

Displays the internal resistance value in milliohms.

Battery Power (SOC02) – State of Charge

Indicates the remaining charge percentage.

Battery Life (SOH01) – State of Health

Assesses the overall condition of the battery.

Condition

  • Good – The battery is in good condition, feel free to use it.
  • Normal – General state of the battery, may continue to use.
  • Poor – The battery is in poor condition, please replace it in time.

Safety & Protection

Reverse polarity protection: The tester is protected against incorrect connection of the positive and negative clips. No damage will occur to the device or the battery if the polarity is reversed.

Connection warning: If the clips are not properly clamped, the text on the screen will flash as a reminder to reconnect securely.

Supported batteries: 6V, 12V, and 24V systems – suitable for various common vehicle models.

Display illumination: The 1.8‑inch screen features a high‑definition backlight for easy reading in low light conditions.
