1. SAFETY

9 This kit should be used in conjunction with inspection maintenance procedures recommended in the vehicle manufacturer’s manual.
9 Ensure that the kit is correct for the task.
9 Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for the task. A full range is available from your Sealey stockist.
8 DO NOT use the kit for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
9 Ensure there is adequate lighting prior to using the kit. A range of inspection lamps are available from your Sealey stockist.
9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
8 DO NOT use the kit if any parts are damaged or missing, as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
8 DO NOT use the kit when you are tired, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

2. INTRODUCTION
Fast and effective in situ removal of bearings and bushes. Gently removes bearings where the use of a slide hammer or bridge puller
may damage the surrounding material. Heat treated carbon steel parts, for strength and rust resistance. Comprehensive kit including
two sizes of long reach spacers and ve bearing collets 9-23mm. Complete with storage case for quick and easy selection.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Select a suitable puller (slightly smaller than the inner diameter) g.1.
4.2. Use the tip of the correct draw rod, screw down clockwise, so that the opening of the
puller is held open and hooked tight to the inner diameter of the bearing (or the inner
wall of the outer ring) g.2.
NOTE: The opening of the puller must be open, otherwise it will cause the head to slip
or be damaged.
4.3. Attach the support sleeve (the inner wall of the sleeve must be larger than the outer
diameter of the bearing outer ring) g.3. Place the pressure plate on the top of the
sleeve.
4.4. Insert rod through the top hole of the screw, rotate the screw to remove the bearing
g.4.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.4.1. Keep the motorcycle internal bearing extractor clean. Wipe with a soft cloth after use,
apply a small amount of oil onto the thread of the screw.
5.4.2. Store in a safe place out of the reach of children.
