IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the

• Do not attempt to mix nonfoods with this appliance.
• Remove beaters from mixer before washing.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit correctly into the outlet, flip it. If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying
the plug in any way.
EXTENSION CORD USE
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping
over a longer cord.
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, longer extension cords may be used if care
is exercised.
• If an extension cord is used,
a. The leveled electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as
the electrical rating of the appliance.
b. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where
it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It
should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
Warning: This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer cover.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are no user
serviceable parts inside.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save instruction manual.
• Cut and remove tie wrap located between the electric plug blades.
• Before using your new appliance, wipe the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• Wash all the removable parts with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Place the appliance on a flat stable surface.
• Attaching the Beaters / Dough “Masa” Beaters Use the beaters for blending, beating, mixing,
whisking and creaming. You may use the dough “masa” hooks for kneading.
Warning: Do not plug the power cord into an electrical outlet until the beaters or hooks have been securely
attached.
1. Locate the two half circles near the end of each beater or hook.
2. Locate the breaks in the slots in the motor housing.
3. Insert the beaters or hooks into the slots so that the half circles align with the grooves.

HOW TO USE YOUR MIXER
• Make sure the appliance is OFF.
• Plug the power cord into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
• Place ingredients to be mixed in a bowl.
• Holding the mixer by the handle, insert the beaters or hooks into the center of the food in the bowl.
• Slide the speed switch to the desired settings. Speeds range from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). See the
Speed Chart below.
Caution: To prevent the mixer from overheating, do not operate it for more than 5 minutes at a time. Allow
5 minutes off after 5 minutes of operation.
Note: For best results, begin with the lowest speed setting (1) and increase to a higher speed as necessary.
• When adding ingredients, turn the mixer off and allow the motor to stop. Lift the beaters or hooks out
of the mixture and rest the mixer on its heel. Add ingredients and place the beaters or hooks back
into the mixture before continuing.

• When mixing is complete, turn the mixer off.
Note: Make sure the motor has stopped before lifting the beaters or hooks out of the mixture.
• Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Caution: Always turn the mixer off and unplug the power cord before leaving the mixer unattended and
when it is not in use.
• Eject the beaters or hooks by firmly pressing the eject button.
Caution: Never eject the beaters or hooks while the mixer is operating.

CARE AND CLEANING
This product contains no user serviceable parts.
• Unplug the cord and allow to cool.
• After each use, remove the beaters or hooks from the motor housing before washing. Wash all
the removable parts with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Keep attention not to wet
the electrical parts; therefore, never rinse the mixer under tap water or immerse it in water or other
liquids.
Note: Make sure all the parts are properly reassembled before each use.
• The appliance and its parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads to clean the appliance.
• Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the appliance.
• This mixer was permanently lubricated at the factory before shipping and will not require further
lubrication for the life of the mixer.
Caution: Additional lubrication of electric motor parts could create a fire hazard.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
• Place beaters, hooks and power cord into the storage case.
• Snap the storage case onto the base of the mixer, making sure to insert the tabs on the front of the
storage case into the second row of slots on the front of the mixer. To remove the storage case, pull
from the heel end of the base first.
• Store your appliance in a dry location, such as on a tabletop, countertop, or on a cupboard shelf.
• Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (un contacto es más ancho que el otro). Para reducir el riesgo de
choque eléctrico, este enchufe entra en un contacto polarizado de una sola manera. Si el enchufe no entra
correctamente, inviértalo. Si aún así no encaja, busque la ayuda de un electricista calificado. No intente
hacerle ninguna modificación al enchufe.
USO DE UN CABLE DE EXTENSIÓN
El producto viene con un cable corto de suministro de potencia para reducir el riesgo que resulta de
enredarse o tropezarse con un cable más largo.
No se recomienda el uso de un cable de extensión. Sin embargo, puede usarse un cable de extensión si
se emplea el cuidado requerido.
• Si se usa un cable de extensión:
a. El voltaje eléctrico del cable de extensión debe ser como mínimo igual al voltaje del aparato.

ANTES DE UTILIZAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
• Retire todo el material de empaque y las calcomanías adheridas al producto y conserve el manual
de instrucciones.
• Corte y retire la banda plástica que pasa por los contactos del enchufe.
• Antes de usar la batidora, limpie toda la superficie de la misma con un paño húmedo.
• Lave todas las partes removibles con agua tibia y jabón. Enjuague y seque.
• Coloque el producto sobre una superficie plana y estable.
• Armando los Batidores o los Ganchos para Masa Use los batidores para mezclar, batir, y hacer
crema. Los ganchos se pueden usar para amasar.
Advertencia: No enchufe la batidora a una toma de corriente eléctrica hasta que los batidores o ganchos
se han incorporado de manera segura a la batidora.
1. Busque los dos semicírculos que se encuentran en cada batidor o gancho.
2. Busque en la carcasa del motor los orificios para los accesorios.
3. Inserte los batidores o los ganchos en los orificios de tal manera que los semicírculos
entren en las ranuras.

COMO USAR SU BATIDORA
• Asegúrese que la batidora este apagada.
• Enchufe el cable de corriente a una toma de corriente estándar de 120 voltios de corriente alterna.
• Coloque dentro de un tazón los ingredientes que va a mezclar.
• Sostenga la batidora por el asa, inserte los batidores o los ganchos en el centro de los ingredientes
que se encuentran dentro del tazón.
• Coloque la velocidad deseada en el control de velocidad. La velocidad va desde 1 (la más baja)
hasta 5 (la más alta). Véase la Tabla de Velocidades a continuación.
Advertencia: Para evitar que la batidora se sobrecaliente, no la utilice durante más de 5 minutos a la vez.
Luego de 5 minutos de funcionamiento debe esperar 4 minutos para volver a usarla.
Nota: Para obtener los mejores resultados, comience con la velocidad más baja (1) y aumente a una
velocidad más alta según sea necesario.
• Cuando necesite agregar más ingredientes, apague la batidora y espere que el motor se detenga.
Levante de la mezcla los batidores o ganchos y apoye la batidora sobre el lado de la base para
descanso. Luego, añada los ingredientes y coloque los batidores o ganchos de nuevo en la mezcla
antes de prenderla de nuevo.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Este producto no contiene piezas reparables por el consumidor.
• Desconecte el cable del tomacorriente y deje que se enfríe la batidora.
• Después de cada uso, retire los batidores o los ganchos de la carcasa del motor antes de lavarlos.
Lave todas las piezas removibles con agua y jabón. Enjuague y seque completamente. Tenga
cuidado de no mojar las partes eléctricas. Nunca enjuague la batidora directamente bajo el agua del
grifo ni la sumerja en agua u otros líquidos.
Nota: Asegúrese de que todas las partes estén instaladas correctamente antes de cada uso.
• La batidora y sus partes no son aptas para el lavaplatos automático.
