Installation for Sliding (Casement) windows
1. This fan has been designed for a sliding (casement) window
with minimum opening of 22-1/2" high x 11-1/8" wide. The fan
will be positioned vertically in the window opening, with the rigid
panels (if needed) at the bottom.
2. Open window and place the fan in the opening.
3. There is an accordion style expanding side panel on one side
of the fan, leave this retracted for this step. The other side has
2 rigid extension panels that slide onto the fan to give you
more room for expansion. Check the t of the window fan in
the window opening and attach as many of the rigid side
panels as will t in the window opening.
4. Position the fan in the window so that the Speed
Selector knob is facing toward the inside of the
room. With power cord aligned in its slot and
coming inside the house, place the bottom of
the fan against the side of the window frame.
5. Extend the accordion side panel until the space
on both sides of the fan are fully blocked.
6. Slide the window closed, making rm contact
with the top of the fan (See Fig. 2). Secure
window in position tight against the fan top.
Note: It is the customer's responsibility to be sure the fan is
secure in the window. If the fan does not t securely into window,
pull out the Built-In Extender Panel to achieve a secure t.
CAUTION: Fan will not stop a child from falling out of the window.
Keep children away from open windows.

4 slots on the base of fan (See Fig. 3). Push fan leg into slot to lock in
place. Repeat this action on the other leg.
Adjustable Fan Head Angles:
Fan heads rotate individually to adjust the direction of air ow. Push
the fan heads in either direction to adjust the direction of airow for
comfort and circulation. Each fan head can be rotated completely
around to reverse the air ow. Push the right side of each fan until it
rotates 180° and blows in the opposite direction. (See Fig. 4).
USAGE:
Fan Operation: Always operate the fan following all instructions
and recommendations listed in this manual. This fan can be
used horizontally in double-hung windows, or vertically in sliding
(casement) windows.

outlet. Be sure plug ts tightly in outlet. A loose connection may
cause overheating and damage to the plug or fan.
Note: To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the fan into a
circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.
Turning Fan On/Off: To start the fan, rotate Control Dial from 0
position to desired fan speed (I or II). Rotate dial to 0 to discontinue
use. Unplug fan when not in use.
