Setup
1. Never allow children to shred or to play with the
paper shredder, or else, serious injury could occur.
2. Do not place hands or ngers into the shredder,
as it could result in serious injury.
3. Never spray canned air or any type of lubricant
into the shredder, while the shredder is plugged in.
4. Never place any lubricants or cleaning solutions
into the paper shredder, as it could result in serious injury.
5. Keep all loose articles of clothing;
ties, jewelry, hair or other items away from
the feed opening, in order to prevent injury.
6. Remove all paper clips and staples from paper before shredding.
The shredder will cut staples and small paper clips,
however, discretion is recommended.
7. Keep the shredder turned off or unplugged,
when not in use for prolonged periods of time.
8. When manually changing feed direction, pause long enough
for the motor to stop, to avoid possible damage to the motor.
9. Turn off and unplug the shredder prior to moving,
cleaning or emptying the wastebasket.
10. Empty the wastebasket frequently to avoid possible paper jams
caused by shredded material being pulled back into the cutter assembly.

The PS410 shredder should be placed on a flat, level surface.
Depending on the surface where the shredder is placed,
casters have been included, and can be installed with ease.
It is recommended that casters should be used,
if the shredder is being placed on a hard, smooth surface.
2. Ensure that the wastebasket is inserted into the
shredder and that it ts ush with the shredder cabinet.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard 230-240V AC outlet,
which should be installed near the equipment.
4. Place the power switch into the ON position,
the Power LED should light up.
You are now ready to start shredding.

Operation
Shredding Capacity
With the item plugged in, place the power switch in the ON position,.
Ensure the shredder wastebasket is in place, the LED will light up.
This means that the shredder in now ready for operation.
When the paper is inserted into the feed opening, the shredding process will
start automatically, and stop when the paper has completed its travel through
the feed opening.
The PS410 mode selection switch is located on the top of the shredder.
Also located on top of the shredder is the ready LED. Their purposes are:
1. When the power switch is in the ON position,
the shredding process will start when the paper
is inserted into the feed opening, and will continue
until it has completely passed through the feed opening.
2. The reverse button is used to assist in the removal of a paper jam,
which reverses the shredding process prior to a completed forward cycle,
therefore, clearing the cutters. When switching from forward to reverse,
always stop momentarily to prevent prevent possible damage to the motor.
3. It is recommended to turn the shredder off,
when it is not being used for a prolonged period of time.
4. When the ready LED is lit up, it lets the user know that the wastebasket
is inserted correctly, and that the shredder is turned on and ready for use.
If the ready LED does not light up, make sure that the plug is plugged in,
and the basket is inserted correctly.
The PS410 will shred up to 8 sheets of paper and will
accept paper widths up to 220mm.
When shredding small material like envelopes or credit card receipts,
Insert them into the middle of the feed opening.

Paper Jams and Motor Overload Protection Circuit
The
PS410 is equipped with an automatic motor overload protection circuit.
The PS410 will automatically terminate power, caused by the following
abnormal situations:
1. Operating the shredder at the maximum 8 sheets
capacity continuously for a prolonged period of time.
2. Exceeding the shredding capacity,
eg. Inserting more than 8 sheets of paper in one pass,
or if the paper is not fed squarely int o the feed opening.
Both abnormal operations may result in the activation of the automatic thermal
motor overload protection circuit, which terminates the power to the shredder.
A paper jam could cause the thermal motor overload
protection to terminate AC power to the motor.
Never allow the shredder to remain in a jammed condition
with the AC power turned on, if this occurs:
In case of a minor paper jam:
1. Press the switch in reverse button and pull the remaining sheets of paper
out of the feed opening. Remove the unshredded portion of paper from the
top and clear any excess paper shreds from the feed opening.
In case of a major paper jam:
1. Turn off or unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and wait at least 30
minutes for the thermal overload protection to reset.
2. Plug in the AC power cord and place the Power switch back into the ON
position. If paper was left inside the feed opening prior to the overload,
press the reverse button and grasp the excess paper from the top and
pull it out. Be careful not to place your ngers near the feed opening or, it
could result in serious harm. Clear any excess paper shreds from the feed
opening.
3. You are now ready to resume normal shredding.

Installation

Utilisation
Capacité
Lorsque l’appareil est branché et que l’interrupteur est en position automatique, la
lumière s’allumera. L’appareil est prêt à l’utilisation. Lorsqu’un document est inséré,
le processus de destruction démarrera et s’arrêtera une fois la destruction des
documents achevée.
L’interrupteur dispose de 4 paramètres :
1. Lorsque la position « auto » est sélectionnée, l’appareil s’allumera lorsque du
papier est inséré.
2. La fonction « reverse » permet de lancer la marche arrière en cas de bourrage de
papier. Lorsque vous passer du mode automatique à la marche arrière, veuillez
toujours patienter que l’appareil se soit arrêté afin d’éviter d’endommager le moteur.
3. L’interrupteur « OFF » permet d’éteindre l’appareil. Il est recommandé d’éteindre
l’appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé fréquemment.
4. Lorsque l’appareil est prêt à l’utilisation, un indicateur lumineux s’allumera. Si
l’indicateur lumineux ne s’allume pas, assurez-vous que l’appareil est branché et
que le réservoir est correctement inséré.
Note
L’indicateur lumineux ne s’allumera pas si l’appareil est éteint (position « OFF ») ou
si la tête n’est pas correctement insérée sur le réservoir.
L’appareil permet de détruire jusqu’à 8 feuilles et acceptera du papier de 220
mm d’épaisseur. Pour détruire des documents plus compacts, tels que des
enveloppes ou des reçus par exemple, insérez-les au milieu de l’ouverture.

Bourrage de papier et protection du moteur
Cet appareil est équipé d’un circuit de protection automatique du moteur
en cas de bourrage de papier. Il n’est pas recommandé de détruire plus de
3 feuilles de papier à la fois et d’utiliser cet appareil plus de 2.30 minutes à
la fois.
L’appareil s’éteindra automatiquement dans les situations suivantes :
1.
Si l’appareil est utilisé dans des conditions excédant les capacités de
l’appareil.
2. Si le papier n’est pas correctement inséré dans l’ouverture, ce qui
provoque un bourrage de papier.
Ces opérations peuvent déclencher l’activation du circuit de protection
automatique du moteur, ce qui a pour effet de couper l’alimentation. Ne
laissez pas l’appareil allumé si un bourrage de papier survient.
En cas de bourrage de papier mineur :
- Enclenchez la marche arrière et retirez le papier qui sort de l’ouverture.
Assurez-vous de garder vos doigts et effets personnels en dehors de
l’ouverture lorsque le moteur est en fonctionnement.
En cas de bourrage de papier majeur :
1. Eteignez l’appareil pendant 30 minutes afin que le circuit de protection
automatique se désactive.
2. Branchez l’alimentation et placez l’interrupteur sur « auto ». Si du papier
subsiste, enclenchez la marche arrière et retirez le papier qui sort de
l’ouverture. Assurez-vous de garder vos doigts et effets personnels en
dehors de l’ouverture lorsque le moteur est en fonctionnement.

Konfiguration
1.
Lassen Sie Kinder niemals den Aktenvernichter benutzen oder mit diesem

3.

Bedienung
Zerkleinerungskapazität
Wenn das Stromkabel angesteckt, der Schalter in der ON-Position steht und der
Aktenvernichter montiert ist, leuchtet die Power-LED Lampe auf.
Sobald der Papierkorb an seinem Platz ist, leuchtet die LED Lampe auf.
Dies bedeutet, der Aktenvernichter ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
Wenn das Papier in die Zufuhröffnung eingeführt wird, startet der
Schredderprozess automatisch und stoppt, sobald das Papier seine Bewegung
durch die Zufuhröffnung beendet hat.
Der PS410 Modusschalter befindet sich oben auf dem Aktenvernichter
ebenso wie die Ready-LED Leuchte. Diese leuchtet wenn:
1.
Ist der Schalter auf ON, beginnt der Schredderprozess sobald das Papier
in die Zuführöffnung eingeführt wird. Es setzt solange fort bis das Papier
vollständig durch die Zuführöffnung durchgegangen ist.
2.
Die Rückwärts-Taste wird verwendet, um einen Papierstau zu beseitigen. Der
Zerkleinerungsvorgang wird von einem Vorwärtszyklus umgekehrt, wodurch
die Klingen freigegeben werden. Halten Sie kurz beim Umschalten von
Vorwärts auf Rückwärts an, um eine mögliche Beschädigung des Motors zu
verhindern.
3.
Schalten Sie den Aktenvernichter aus, wenn er für längere Zeit nicht benutzt
wird.
4.
Leuchtet die LED Lampe auf, bedeutet das, dss der Papierkorb korrekt
eingelegt und der Aktenvernichter eingeschalten sowie betriebsbereit ist.
Wenn die LED Lampe nicht aufleuchtet, stellen Sie sicher, dass der Stecker
eingesteckt ist und der Korb richtig eingesetzt ist.
Der PS410 kann bis zu 8 Blatt Papier in einem Vorgang zerkleinern
und Papierbreiten bis zu 220 mm bearbeiten.
Wenn Sie kleine Materialien wie Umschläge oder Kreditkartenbelege
zerkleinern, legen Sie diese in die Mitte der Zufuhröffnung.

Papierstau und Motorüberlastungsschutz
Der PS410 ist mit einer automatischen Motorüberlastschutzschaltung
ausgestattet.
Der PS410 beendet die Stromversorgung automatisch in folgenden Situationen:
1.
Wenn der Aktenvernichter mit maximal 8-Blatt-A6-Papier über einen längeren
Zeitraum kontinuierlich betrieben wird.
2.
Bei Überschreiten der Zerkleinerungskapazität, z.B. das Einlegen von mehr
als 8 Blatt A6-Papier in einem Arbeitsvorgang, oder wenn das Papier nicht
direkt in die Zufuhröffnung eingeführt wird.
Beide oben genannten Situationen können zur Aktivierung der automatischen
Motorschutzschaltung führen, welches den Strom zum Aktenvernichter beendet.
Ein Papierstau könnte ebenfalls dazu führen, dass der Überhitzungsschutz des
Motors die Wechselstromversorgung des Motors beendet. Lassen Sie den
Aktenvernichter mit einem Papierstau bei eingeschaltetem Wechselstrom stehen.
Im Falle eines kleineren Papierstaus:
1.
Schalten Sie den „Rev“ bzw. ‚Rückwärtsschalter ein und ziehen Sie die
restlichen Papierblätter aus der Zufuhröffnung. Entfernen Sie das nicht
geschredderte Papier von oben. Entfernen Sie überschüssige Papierschnitzel
von der Zufuhröffnung, achten Sie darauf, dass der Aktenvernichter
ausgeschalten ist.
Im Falle eines größeren Papierstaus:
1.
Schalten Sie das Netzkabel aus oder ziehen Sie dieses aus der Steckdose.
Warten Sie mind. 30 Minuten, bis der Überhitzungsschutz zurückgesetzt ist.
2.
Stecken Sie das Netzkabel ein und stellen Sie den Schalter wieder auf ON.
Wenn das Papier vor der Überlastung in der Zufuhröffnung verblieben ist,
drücken Sie die Rückwärts-Taste und greifen Sie das überschüssige Papier von
oben und ziehen es heraus. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie Ihre Finger nicht in der
Nähe der Zufuhröffnung sind, da dies zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen kann.
Entfernen Sie die überschüssigen Papierschnitzel von der Zufuhröffnung.
3.
Sie sind jetzt bereit den Shreddervorgang fortzusetzen.

La trituradora PS410 debe colocarse sobre una superficie plana. Este producto
incluye ruedas que se pueden instalar fácilmente si el tipo de superficie lo
requiere. Se recomienda el uso de las ruedas en superficies duras y suaves.
2. Compruebe que el depósito está correctamente instalado en la trituradora.
3. Enchufe el cable a una toma de alimentación AC estándar de 230-240V.
4. Pulse el interruptor de encendido ON. Una vez que piloto LED esté encendido,
podrá comenzar a utilizar la trituradora.

Capacidad
Con el aparato conectado a la corriente, pulse el interruptor de
encendido "ON". Compruebe que el depósito de papel está
instalado.
El piloto LED se encenderá indicando que la trituradora está lista para ser
utilizada.
El proceso de triturado comenzará automáticamente al introducir las hojas de
papel por la ranura y se detendrá una vez haya terminado de triturar el papel.
El interruptor de selección, así como el piloto LED están situados en la
parte superior de la trituradora PS410. Sus funciones son:
Una vez pulsado el interruptor de encendido, el
proceso de triturado comenzará al insertar el papel en
la ranura de corte y continuará hasta haber triturado el
papel por completo.

El interruptor de reversa está pensado para retirar el papel
atascado, invirtiendo el proceso de triturado durante un ciclo
completo con el fin de desatascar el papel. Al cambiar de la
dirección directa a la inversa, espere un momento hasta que el
motor se detenga para evitar que este resulte dañado.

Se recomienda apagar la trituradora cuando esta no vaya a
ser utilizada durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado.

EL piloto LED indica que el depósito está correctamente colocado
y, por tanto, la trituradora está encendida y lista para su uso. Si el
piloto LED no se enciende, compruebe que el aparato esté
conectado a la toma de luz y que el depósito de papel esté

La PS410 tritura hasta 8 hojas de papel de hasta 220 mm de
ancho. Al triturar material de menor tamaño como sobres o recibos
bancarios, insértelos por el medio de la ranura de corte.

Atascos de papel y circuito de protección de sobrecalentamiento
La PS410 está equipada con un circuito automático de protección
contra el sobrecalentamiento del motor. La PS410 se apagará de forma
automática en las siguientes situaciones atípicas:
1.
Al triturar grupos de 8 hojas de papel de forma continuada
durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado.
2.
El exceder la capacidad de triturado; por ejemplo, insertando
más de 8 folios de una vez o si el papel no se introduce en la
posición correcta en la ranura de corte.
Las siguientes situaciones pueden resultar en la activación del circuito
automático de protección contra el sobrecalentamiento del motor,
haciendo que el aparato se apague.
Un atasco de papel podría causar el sobrecalentamiento
de la protección de la alimentación AC del motor.
Nunca deje la trituradora encendida si hay papel
atascado o si ocurre lo siguiente:
En caso de un atasco menor de papel:
1.
Seleccione la función reversa y tire de las hojas de papel hacia afuera de
la ranura de corte. Retire el papel no triturado, así como el exceso de
papel triturado que pueda haber en la entrada.
En caso de un atasco mayor de papel:
1.
Apague el aparato y desconecte el cable de la fuente de alimentación
AC. Espere al menos 30 minutos hasta que la protección contra
sobrecalentamiento se resetee.
2.
Vuelva a enchufar el aparato y pulse el interruptor de encendido. Si
quedó algo de papel atascado antes de que la unidad se apagase,

Impostazione
1.
Il distruggidocumenti PS410 deve essere utilizzato su di una superfice
piana. L'apparecchio, è dotato di rotelle rimovibili che possono essere
montate e smontate in base alla superficie di appoggio. Si consiglia di
montare le rotelle se si posiziona il distruggidocumenti su una superficie
dura e liscia.
2.
Assicurarsi che il cestello sia inserito nel distruggidocumenti e che aderisca
correttamente nell'apposito vano.
3.
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione ad una presa di corrente vicino al
distruggidocumenti.
4.
Posizionare l'interruttore su ON e l'indicatore LED si accenderà ad indicare che
il distruggidocumenti è pronto all'utilizzo.
Avvertenze
1.
Non consentire a bambini di utilizzare o giocare con il distruggidocumenti

Funzionamento
Capacità di triturazione
Con il cavo di alimentazione collegato, l'interruttore in posizione ON e il cestello
della carta in posizione, l’indicatore LED si accende.
Questo significa che il distruggidocumenti è ora pronto per essere utilizzato.
Quando la carta viene inserita nel distruggidocumenti, il processo di tritatura
inizierà automaticamente e si ferma quando tutta la carta inserita sarà passata
attraverso le lame.
L'interruttore di selezione del distruggidocumenti di truva sulla parte superiore
dell'unità, così come il led di accensione. Di seguito le funzioni dettagliate:
1.
Quando l’interruttore è impostato su ON il processo di tritatura
inizierà automaticamente all’inserimento della carta e si ferma
quando tutta la carta inserita sarà passata attraverso le lame.
2.
L’impostazione di inversione (reverse) è utilizzata per liberare le lame da
possibili inceppamenti di carta invertendo il processo di tritatura. Prima di
passare all’impostazione di inversione, arrestare sempre l’apparecchio, al
fine di evitare possibili danni al motore.
3.
Si consiglia di scegliere l'impostazione OFF mentre si svuota il cestello
della carta oppure non si utilizza l’apparecchio per un periodo di tempo
prolungato.
4.
Quando l'indicatore LED è illuminato, indica che il cestello della carta è
inserito correttamente e che il distruggidocumenti è acceso e pronto
all'utilizzo. Se l'indicatore LED non si accende assicurarsi che
l'apparecchio sia collegato alla presa di corrente e che il cestello sia
inserito correttamente.
Il
PS410 trita fino a 8 fogli di carta con larghezza fino a 220mm. Quando si
tritano materiali più piccoli come buste o carte, è possibile inserirle nel mezzo
dell’apertura di inserimento della carta.

Inceppamenti della carta e meccanismo di protezione per
sovraccarico del motore
Il PS410 è dotato di un meccanismo di protezione automatica per il
sovraccarico del motore. Il PS410 cesserà automaticamente l’alimentazione
in caso si verifichino le seguenti situazioni:
1.
Funzionamento continuo del distruggidocumenti alla capacità massima
di8 fogli per un periodo prolungato di tempo.
2.
Eccedere la capacità di triturazione, ad esempio, l’inserimento di più di 8
fogli di carta in un unico passaggio, o se la carta non viene inserita
correttamente nell'apertura di inserimento della carta.
Entrambe le situazioni anomale potrebbero causare l'attivazione automatica
del circuito di protezione contro il sovraccarico del motore, interrompendo
l'alimentazione del distruggidocumenti. Un inceppamento potrebbe provocare
l’attivazione del circuito contro il sovraccarico motore cessando
l’alimentazione. Non lasciare mai che il distruggidocumenti rimanga acceso
quando si provoca un inceppamento di carta ed interrompere
immediatamente l’alimentazione.
In caso di inceppamenti di carta minori:
1.
Invertire il senso di tritatura della carta rimuovendo quella in eccesso e
liberare le lame da qualsiasi brandello rimanente. Assicurarsi di tenere dita e
oggetti alla larga dall’apertura di inserimento della carta mentre le lame sono
in funzione.
In caso di un inceppamento di entità maggiore:
1.
Impostare l’interruttore su OFF e/o scollegare il cavo di alimentazione
dalla presa di corrente e attendere almeno 30 minuti affinché il
distruggidocumenti si raffreddi e sia nuovamente pronto all’utilizzo.
2.
Ricollegare la spina alla presa di corrente ed impostare l’interruttore su auto.
Se sono presenti brandelli di carta tra le lame da quando l’apparecchio si è
inceppato, invertire la direzione di tritatura delle lame e rimuovere la carta in
eccesso. Porre estrema cautela a non mettere le dita nell’apertura di
inserimento e/o toccare le lame, per evitare il rischio di lesioni.
3.
Il distruggidocumenti è pronto per essere usato.

Przygotowanie do pierwszego uruchomienia
1.
Nigdy nie zezwalaj dzieciom, aby używać lub bawić się niszczarką,

Zacięcia papieru i przegrzanie
Niszczarka została wyposażona w automatyczny system zapobiegający
przegrzaniu silnika. Zalecany cykl pracy to 2,5 min. pracy, 30 min
bezczynności. Niszczarka automatycznie wyłączy się w przypadku
zaistnienia poniższych sytuacji:
1.
Długotrwały cykl pracy urządzenia przy maksymalnej wydajności
(8 kartek).
2.
Przekroczenie maksymalnej wydajności niszczarki (ponad 8 kartek)
przy jednorazowym użyciu lub gdy niszczone materiały nie zostały
umieszczone prostopadle do wlotu.
W przypadku wystąpienia obu lub jednej z powyższych sytuacji może
nastąpić automatyczne wyłączenie urządzenia, aby zapobiec jego
przegrzaniu. W przypadku zacięcia się papieru lub innego niszczonego
materiału w urządzeniu, niszczarka uruchomi tryb zapobiegania przegrzaniu
silnika i odłączy zasilanie. Nigdy nie pozwól pracować urządzeniu, gdy
