IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip. The receipt and if possible
the box with inner packaging in a safe place!
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in
water or other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safe from electric shocks.
Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of children. Ensure that the
cable does not hang down.
6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
7. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return

16. A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material,
including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
17. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil
orother hot liquids.
18. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to“off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or
extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and
the cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

8. Use the Toaster on a hard, flat surface. Do not place it near a flame or heat or

use. Dropping the Toaster could cause it to malfunction.

or when you are attaching accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a
malfunction. Switch off the appliance. Do no pull the cable, pull the plug.

11. Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorized professional
instead.
12. Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture,
sharp edges and such like.
13. Never leave the appliance unsupervised if it is use! Always switch off the
appliance if you are not using it, even if only for a brief period.
14. Only use original parts.
15. Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not allow the
appliance to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use the
appliance with wet or moist hands.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS APPLIANCE
Only use the appliance if supervised (very dry bread may catch fire if toasted).
The metal parts heat up! Danger of burns!
Do not insert any forks, knives or such like in the toasting slot.
Do not place the appliance anywhere near inflammable objects (e.g. curtains,
wood, etc.)!

The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should
be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a

PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the finish of the counter top or
table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between
the appliance and the finish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may
cause the finish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
There may be manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the toaster or heating element, which might emit an odor
at the time of the first use. This is normal and will not occur after several uses. It is suggested to operate the toaster
without bread for first use according to the below steps. Then let the toaster cool down before you start toasting the
first slice.
HOW TO USE THE TOASTER
1. Ensure the toaster is connected to the main power supply.
2. Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots and press the loading lever down until it latches. The
toaster will heat up automatically and start toasting.
3. Adjust the browning control to brown the toast to your desired taste.
4. To stop toasting press the CANCEL button at any time.
5. The loading lever will rise automatically when toasting is finished. The toast can be safely removed.

6. If the toast is not dark enough, you can toast the bread again. Adjust the browning control to a higher setting
and replace the toast. Ensure the toast does not burn while re-toasting
CANCEL FUNCTION
Press the CANCEL button if bread starts to smoke. The CANCEL button can be pressed at any time
during toasting.
REHEAT FUNCTION
Your toaster can reheat bread if desired.
1. Place the bread in the toaster.
2. No shade adjustement is necessary or possible - the reheat setting is a pre-set time that will override any
previous selection.
3. Press the loading lever down.
4. Press the REHEAT button. The reheat indicator will light up.
5. The loading lever will rise automatically when reheating is finished.
DEFROST FUNCTION
Your Toaster can defrost bread and toast it in a single cycle.
1. Place the frozen bread in the toaster.
2. Set the browning control to desired shade setting.
3. Press the loading lever down.
4. Press the DEFROST button. The defrost indicator will light up.
5. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.
BAGEL FUNCTION
The bagel setting works great for English muffins, too!
1. Place one half in each toasting slot with the cut sides facing the center.
2. Set the browning control to desired setting.
3. Press the loading lever down.
4. Press the BAGEL button. The bagel indicator will light up. Ensure bagel doesn’t burn.
5. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.
BROWNING CONTROL
The browning control enables adjustment of toasting time and has the following settings:
• 1-2 for light toasting
• 3-4 for medium toasting
• 5-6 for dark toasting
CAUTION:
1. If toaster starts to smoke, press CANCEL to stop toasting immediately.
2. Remove all protective wrapping before using the toaster.
3. Do not toast food with runny ingredients.
4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without first unplugging the toaster from the electrical
outlet. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.
5. The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular
shaped bread or round bread.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Disconnect the toaster from outlet before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth after toaster cools down. Never use metal polish.
3. Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread crumbs
should be removed at least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is inserted correctly to the toaster and
completely closed before using the toaster again.
4. The power cord may be wound under the bottom of the toaster when not in use or for storage.
STORING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug unit, allow to cool, and clean before storing.
2. Store Toaster in its box in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store Toaster while it is hot or still plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance, wrap the cord around the cord clips located on the bottom of
the Toaster.
5. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date of purchase,
this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and workmanship, and
for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will
either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the
product during the warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this product do not have the
right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper
routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or
alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty
does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited
by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular
purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the
above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic legal
rights which may vary by state, province and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the
phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will
be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach
a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone
number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the
original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt,
and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO
Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for the returned product while in transit to
SENSIOInc.’s Customer Service Center.

NOTAS SOBRE EL ENCHUFE

ANTES DE UTILIZAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
Es posible que haya residuos de fabricación o aceite presentes en el tostador o el elemento calefactor, que pueden
emitir olor la primera vez que se use el aparato. Es normal y no ocurrirá más luego de algunos usos. Se recomienda
usar el tostador sin pan la primera vez, de acuerdo con los pasos que se describen abajo. A continuación, deje que el
tostador se enfríe antes de tostar una rebanada por primera vez.
CÓMO USAR EL TOSTADOR
1. Procure que el tostador esté conectado a la fuente de alimentación principal.
2. Coloque una o dos rebanadas de pan en la ranuras para tostar y presione la palanca de carga hacia abajo
hasta que se trabe. El tostador se calentará automáticamente y comenzará a tostar.

FUNCIÓN “CANCELAR”

FUNCIÓN “RECALENTAMIENTO”
Su tostador puede recalentar antes de tostarlo.
1. Coloque el pan en el tostador.
2. Congure el control de dorado en la posición elegida.
3. Presione hacia abajo la palanca de carga.
4. Presione el botón REHEAT (recalentar). El indicador de recalentamiento se encenderá. Procure que la tostada
no se queme.
5. La palanca de carga subirá automáticamente nalizada el recalentamiento.
FUNCIÓN “DESCONGELACIÓN”
Su Tostadora puede descongelar pan antes de ser tostado.
1. Coloque el pan congelado en la tostadora.
2. Ajuste el control de tostado a la posición deseada.
3. Presione hacia abajo la palanca de carga.
4. Pulse el botón “DEFROST “para descongelar. El indicador de descongelación se enciende.
5. La palanca de carga se elevará automáticamente cuando el ciclo de tostado sea completado.
FUNCIÓN “ROSCA DE PAN”
La conguración de rosca de pan también es ideal para los molletes ingleses.
1. Coloque una mitad en cada ranura para tostar, con el lado de corte orientado hacia el centro.
2. Congure el control de dorado en la posición elegida.
3. Presione hacia abajo la palanca de carga.
4. Presione el botón BAGEL (rosca de pan). El indicador de “rosca de pan” se encenderá. Procure que la rosca de
pan no se queme.
5. La palanca de carga subirá automáticamente nalizado el ciclo de tostadura.
CONTROL DE DORADO
Este permite el ajuste del tiempo de tostadura y comprende las siguientes conguraciones:
• 1-2 para tostadura ligera
• 3-4 para tostadura intermedia
• 5-6 para tostadura oscuro
PRECAUCIÓN:
1. Si el tostador comienza a despedir humo, presione CANCEL para que deje de hacerlo inmediatamente.
2. Extraiga todos los envoltorios protectores antes de usar el tostador.
3. No tueste alimentos que contengan ingredientes líquidos.
4. Nunca intente extraer el pan que se haya atorado en las ranuras sin antes desenchufar el tostador del
tomacorriente eléctrico. Procure no dañar el mecanismo interno ni los elementos calefactores cuando extraiga
el pan.
5. La ranura para el pan debe usarse para tostar rebanadas de pan común únicamente. Nunca use el tostador
para tostar pan redondo o con forma irregular.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Desconecte el tostador del tomacorriente antes de limpiarlo.
2. Limpie el exterior con un paño suave una vez que el tostador se haya enfriado. Nunca use un pulidor para
metales.
3. Extraiga la bandeja para migajas de la parte inferior del tostador y vacíela. Si usa el tostador con frecuencia,
se deben eliminar las migajas de pan acumuladas al menos una vez por semana. Procure que la bandeja
para migajas se introduzca correctamente en el tostador y se cierre por completo antes de usar el tostador
nuevamente.
4. El cable eléctrico puede enroscarse debajo de la parte inferior del tostador cuando este no se use o para
guardarlo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO
1. Desenchufe la unidad, déjela enfriar y límpiela antes de guardarla.
2. Guarde la tostadora en la caja o en un lugar limpio y seco.
3. Nunca guarde la tostadora mientras está caliente o enchufada.
4. Nunca ajuste el cable alrededor del electrodoméstico; enróllelo alrededor de los soportes para el cable que
