Safety information presented here is generic
in nature – some advice may not be

"equipment" refers to the product, be it
electrical mains powered, battery powered or
combustion engine powered.
• Before Use - If you are not familiar with the
safe operation/handling of the equipment or
are in any way unsure of any aspect of
suitability or correct use for your
application, you should complete training
conducted by a person or organization
qualified in safe use and operation of this
equipment, including fuel/electrical handling
and safety.
• Do NOT operate the equipment in
flammable or explosive environments, such
as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases, or dust. The equipment may create
sparks or heat that may ignite flammable
substances.
• Keep clear of moving parts.
• Equipment may be a potential source of
electric shock or injury if misused.
• Do NOT operate the equipment if it is
damaged, malfunctioning or is in an
excessively worn state.
• Do NOT allow others to use the equipment
unless they have read this manual and are
adequately trained.
• Keep packaging away from children - risk
of suffocation! Operators must use the
equipment correctly. When using the
equipment, consider conditions and pay
due care to persons and property.
General Work Area Safety
• Wor
k areas should be clean and well it.
• Do not operate the equipment if
bystanders, animals etc are within
operating range of the equipment or the
general work area.
• If devices are provided for connecting dust
extraction / collection facilities, ensure
these are connected and used properly.
Dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
General Personal Safety
• Wear
appropriate protective equipment
when operating, servicing, or when in the
operating area of the equipment to help
protect from eye and ear injury, poisoning,
burns, cutting and crush injuries. Protective
equipment such as safety goggles,
respirators, non-slip safety footwear, hard
hat, hearing protection etc should be used
for appropriate equipment / conditions.
Other people nearby should also wear
appropriate personal protective equipment.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery,
which can be caught in moving parts. Keep
hair and clothing away from the equipment.
• Stay alert and use common sense when
operating the equipment. Do not over-
reach. Always maintain secure footing and
balance.
• Do not use the equipment if tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication.
• This equipment is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities.
General Fuel Safety
• P
etrol/fuel/gasoline is extremely flammable
– keep clear of naked flames or other
ignition sources.
• Do not spill fuel. If you spill fuel, wipe it off
the equipment immediately – if fuel gets on
your clothing, change clothing.
• Do NOT smoke near fuel or when
refuelling.
• Always shut off the engine before
refuelling.
• Do NOT refuel a hot engine.
• Open the fuel cap carefully to allow any
pressure build-up in the tank to release
slowly.
• Always refuel in well ventilated areas.
• Always check for fuel leakage. If fuel
leakage is found, do not start, or run the
engine until all leaks are fixed.
General Carbon-Monoxide Safety
• U
sing a combustion engine indoors CAN
KILL IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust
contains carbon-monoxide – a poison you
cannot smell or see.
• Use combustion engines OUTSIDE only,
and far away from windows, doors, and
vents.
General Equipment Use and Care
• K
eep packaging away from children and
pets, potential risk of suffocation or
choking.
• The equipment is designed for domestic
use only.
• Handle the equipment safely and carefully.
• Before use, inspect the equipment for
misalignment or binding of moving parts,
loose components, damage, or any other
condition that may affect its operation. If
damaged, have the equipment repaired by
an authorised service centre or technician
before use.
• Prevent unintentional starting of the
equipment - ensure equipment and power
switches are in the OFF position before
connecting or moving equipment. Do not
carry equipment with hands or fingers
touching any controls. Remove any tools or
other items that are not a part of the
equipment from it before starting or
switching on.
• Do not force the equipment. Use the
correct equipment for your application.
Equipment will perform better and be safer
when used within its design and usage
parameters.
• Use the equipment and accessories etc. in
accordance with these instructions,
considering working conditions and the
work to be performed. Using the equipment
for operations different from those intended
could result in hazardous situations.
• Always keep equipment components
(engines, hoses, handles, controls, frames,
housings, guards etc) and accessories
(cutting tools, nozzles, bits etc) properly
maintained. Keep the equipment clean and,
where applicable, properly lubricated.
• Store the equipment out of reach of
children or untrained persons. To avoid
burns or fire hazards, let the equipment
cool completely before transporting or
storing. Never place or store the equipment
near flammable materials, combustible
gases, or liquids etc.
• The equipment is not weather-proof, and
should not be stored in direct sunlight, at
high ambient temperatures or locations that
are damp or humid.
• Do not clean equipment with solvents,
flammable liquids, or harsh abrasives.

General Electrical Safety
• I
nspect electrical equipment, extension
cords, power bars, and electrical fittings for
damage or wear before each use. Repair or
replace damaged equipment immediately.
• Ensure all power sources conform to
equipment voltage requirements and are
disconnected before connecting or
disconnecting equipment.
• When wiring electrically powered
equipment, follow all electrical and safety
codes.
• Always use a Residual Current Device
(RCD) (GFCI) / Earth Leakage Circuit
Breaker / Safety Switch when operating this
item (electrical items only).
• High voltage / high current power lines may
be present. Use extreme caution to avoid
contact or interference with power lines.
Electrical shock can be fatal.
General Electrical Safety
• E
lectrically grounded equipment must have
an approved cord and plug and be
connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
• Do NOT bypass the ON/OFF switch and
operate equipment by connecting and
disconnecting the electrical cord.
• Do NOT use equipment that has exposed
wiring, damaged switches, covers or
guards.
• Do NOT use electrical equipment in wet
conditions or in damp locations.
• Do NOT use electrical cords to lift, move or
carry equipment.
• Do NOT coil or knot electrical cords, and
ensure electrical cords are not trip hazards.
General Service Information
• T
he equipment must be serviced or
repaired at authorised service centres by
qualified personnel only.
• Replacement parts must be original
equipment manufacturer (OEM) to ensure
equipment safety is maintained.
• Do NOT attempt any maintenance or repair
work not described in this manual.
• After use, the equipment and components
may still be hot – allow the equipment to
cool and disconnect spark plugs and/or
electrical power sources and/or batteries
from it before adjusting, changing
accessories, or performing repair or
maintenance.
• Do NOT adjust while the equipment is
running.
• Perform service-related activities in suitable
conditions, such as a workshop.
• Replace worn, damaged or missing
warning/safety labels immediately.
Child Choking Hazard!

• Carefully inspect anything a baby or child could gain access to, including this product & packaging.
• Dangers include anything of a size that could become stuck or lodged in a baby or child's airway.
• Dangers include things like raw, hard fruit and vegetable pieces, large pieces of meat, bones or sausage skins, popcorn, nuts,

shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.

• If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the
risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
• S
tay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or
carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may
result in personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or
long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• Warning- Be sure to wear ear protectors when using this product.
• WARNING- Be sure to wear dust masks when using this product.
• If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust
collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
Power tool use and care
• D
o not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the
power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories, and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, considering the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

ave your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
Diamond Core Drill Safety Warnings
• U
se auxiliary handles supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
• Consider work area environment: Don’t use diamond core drill in damp or wet locations. Don’t expose diamond core drill to rain. Keep work area
well-lit. In particular no inflammable liquids or gases must be present. The series motor produce sparks during normal rotating, the sparks may
cause the risk of fire.
• Grounding of class I tools is necessary while in use to protect you from electric shock, class I tools is equipped with an approved three-conductor
cord and three-prong grounding-type plug, the green/yellow conductor in the cord is the grounding wire, one end of wire is in the grounding sign
of tool outer shell, the other end of wire is connected with the ground wire of plug. Never connect the green/yellow wire to a live terminal.

WARNING THE SOCKET MUST FIT WITH GROUNDING, DON’T INSERT CLASS I TOOLS INTO THE SOCKET WITHOUT GROUNDING.
• Use extension cords when tool is used outdoors or indoors, use special extension wire board. Use only three-conductor cord and with reliable
grounding.
• Take care of downward direction in the high position, safety belt and safety cap etc are recommended.
• In order to avoid unintentional electric shock, please check the grounding condition of electrified body in working area before operating, it is not
allowed to operate the tool under the uncertain condition, once the drill bit touched the electrified body in the wall, floorboard or baseboard, the
electrified outer shell of drill may cause personal injuries.
• The safety equipment is recommended when drilling on high the ceiling to avoid the drill core injuring the persons downstairs or damaging the
property downstairs.
• Connecting the soft pipe with the inner diameterΦ16mm to the adaptor of the valve.
• Please make sure that there is no leak of water in order that it will not damp the motor when you use the liquid and the attachments.
• Usually inspect the hoses and other critical parts of the tool which could deteriorate; When appear of leak of water from the testing hole of the
gear box, must turn off the tool immediately then replacing the rubber seal.
• Replacement of the plug or the supply cord shall always be carried out by the manufacturer of the tool or his service organization.
• Keep liquid clear off the parts of the tool and away from persons in the working area in order that the water cannot enter into the electronic
equipment of the tool and keep your safety. It must be using catchment set when the machine working with elevation.

Before Use
•
Ensure the unit is firmly bolted to the ground.
•
Handle the core drill in a manner that will reduce injury from potential kickbacks.
•
Note that the core drill is equipped with a safety clutch to reduce the chance of injury.
•
Vibration and kickbacks will occur when the drill bit makes contact with any reinforcement/rebar or other
materials/debris within the concrete.
•
Product is only for use while fastened securely to the surface being drilled, so it cannot be dislodged during
use. Do not attempt to use this item by hand, without secure attachment to the surface being drilled, or in
any other manner.

Anchoring The Core Drill
WARNING! It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the core drill is
anchored correctly prior to operation. Incorrect use, anchoring, or anchor
bolt embedment depth can result in serious injury or death.
Use of the drill requires the base of the drill to be fastened to the surface
being drilled using “anchor bolts.” Fastening must be done with a type and
quantity of anchor bolts suitable for the surface being drilled, to ensure the
drill cannot become dislodged or loose during drilling. Anchor bolts are not
supplied with the drill, as anchor bolt requirements will vary depending on
the surface and location being drilled. When selecting anchor bolts to use for
your application, consult the manufacturer of the anchor bolts to confirm
suitability, correct use, and the required embedment depth of the anchor
bolts selected.
Ensure the surface you are drilling is clean, structurally secure, and free of
debris.
1. Determine the locations you will use for anchoring, mark the drill locations and
use the appropriate drill bit, using a handheld power drill to drill holes at the
marked locations.
2. Fasten the core drill to the surface being drilled using the type and quantity of
anchor bolts to ensure the core drill cannot come loose during operation.
3. Shake and rock the core drill to ensure it is fully secure and there is no play.
4. The core drill is now ready for operation.

Operation
1. How to install a bit:
Smear a bit of grease on the thread and tighten the drill bit in place.
2. Attach water supplier to the water inlet:
The core drill must be attached to a water source before use.
3. Material:
When drilling on the reinforced concrete begin by turning on the core drill at a low speed. Let the drill bit cut into
the concrete slowly to prevent overheating or damaging the bit, When drilling reinforced steel the motor speed
will ramp up and you will notice some vibration. Lower the drill at a lower rate in which you would with concrete.
If the drill bit catches or seizes up the safety clutch will activate, if this happens please shut off the tool, remove
the drill bit and clean and debris in the existing hole, please wait for about 3 minutes, let the drill cool down
before restarting the switch to continue drilling, when drilling the wood, thick blacktop and asphalt felt etc, its
current will be increased, so please drill slowly. If the clutch activates continuously, please stop the drill, and
retighten the clutch.
4. Keep the motor ventilated and cool
During operating the ventilated notches of the motor should not be blocked or congested. Failure to keep the
motor ventilated and result in motor burn out or reduced lifespan.
6. Waterless operation forbidden:
Do not use the core drill if there is no water source connected
7. Avoid water contact with the motor:
Keep the enclosure of the motor away from the water. Only use the machine in vertical orientation.
8. Drill vibration:
In the case of excessive vibration, please shut off the tool, inspect the mounting points and the surface it is
mounted to and tighten the mounting bolts accordingly.
9. Speed Adjustment:
When adjusting the speed, the machine must be stopped, the adjust the speed via the adjustment dial, you
cannot adjust the motor speed while the unit is in use.
ATTACHING THE CORE DRILL TO THE WORK SURFACE:
Before drilling any surface:
• Ensure there are no wires or pipes that could be damaged during drilling.
• Ensure work surface attachment point:
• Strong enough to hold the drill securely.
• Select a concrete anchoring bolt:

• Drill a hole for anchoring bolt(s):
• Use a handheld masonry/hammer drill.
• Hole should be suitable for your anchoring bolt(s).
• Mount the drill to the work surface:
• Use the centre slot on the mounting base of the drill.
• Firmly attach the drill using the selected anchoring bolt(s).
• Tighten levelling bolts (on each corner of the core drill mounting base):
• Ensure the core drill is correctly levelled.
• Ensure the core drill is firmly attached to the work surface and cannot come loose during operation.

Maintenance
ATTENTION! Surface corrosion will occur on metal surfaces over time and the rate of oxidation depends
on factors such as proximity to the ocean and humidity or condensation of water vapour on metal
surfaces. To mitigate this, WD40 can be used to remove surface corrosion then, when applied
periodically, it will prevent rust from forming.
•
If the drill had any troubles, please send it to an authorized service centre. It is not strictly allowed to
dismantle or replace the parts optionally.
•
Please check the electric brush and commutator periodically, when the brushes are worn by the length of
about 7mm, they must be changed. Use only original ones, otherwise, the commutator may be damaged,
both brushes must be changed at the same time. If you find heavy sparking in running or the commutator are
worn or burned seriously, please check, and repair the commutator or replace a new rotor.
•
The drill should be checked and repaired periodically after used for a long time. Its main items are whether
the electrical wire is good or not, the grounding is reliable or not, the inner wire, switch and plug works well
or not, the insulating resistance of motor is safe or not, the stator and rotor are in short circuit or not, the
bolts are loosened or not, please replace the lubricating oil and wearing parts etc.
•
Replace the rubber sealing washer in time. After using for a long time, if you find the water is coming in the
top of the drill, please check and replace the sealing washer immediately. The gear in the gear case can use
lubricating oil, if you find some lubricating oil penetrate the mid-cover airport, please replace the rubber
sealing oil ring on the rotor spindle. The brand of special lubricating oil is 110# industrial gear oil. It is not
allowed to use common engine oil.
•
Keep the drill clean and dry If not in use, please clean the drill and it should be kept in dry, clean place,
dismantle the drill bit, the main shaft of the drill and the connecting parts of drill thread should be smeared
some grease so as to protect them.
•
Adjust safety clutch (When you find the friction of clutch become too small).

Troubleshooting
