About the Battery
The tablet uses a rechargeable Li-polymer battery as its power
source. Several factors determine the life of your battery, such
as display brightness, display timeout, input device, extreme
temperature, and usage. We recommend that you keep the
battery charged at all times to prevent data loss.
Charge the Battery Before Use
The device ships with a partially charged battery. Fully charge
the battery with the adapter before using your tablet for the
first time.
To charge the device, connect the AC adapter to the tablet and
an electrical outlet. The battery icon in the status bar indicates
charging status.
When setting up the computer, you should consider how apps,
services, and UI settings affect battery power consumption.
Set the screen tirmeout feature to turn off the screen sooner
and enable the Adaptive brightness featurre to minimize
battery use. Restrict unnecessary apps or services from
runningin the background to prevent battery drain.
