Q: This a brand new unit. It does not appear to work. The motor comes on, the blades for the wind move up and down, the humidity sensor seems to be accurate, but there is no movement of air into or through the unit. I have had it running for two (2) weeks and have no water to show for the work. I have another humidifier, that agrees with the humidity but has no drain hose. I bout this because of the automatic drain feature because I need to to travel and would not be available to empty the water chamber. I turned off my other humidifier and left town. The unit did not remove any water from the air. When I checked, it was completely dry. I turned on my 2nd dehumidifier and within several hour I had almost 2 gallons of water. But nothing from the Blauwahl unit in 10 full days. What am I missing on my setup?
