• Page 2 - English - : Door edge NOT chiseled Door edge chiseled Hold the latch in front of the door hole with the latch face ush against the door edge If the latch holes are centered in the door hole no adjustment is required Proceed to step 2 If the latch holes are NOT centered adjust latch See Latch Adjustment step 1C Latch Adjustment only if needed Move the pin to extend the latch not centered centered wood block slant of latch bolt faces door frame slant of latch bolt faces door frame Use hammer and wood block to tap in latch without damaging it door frame Remove plates Install drivein collar door frame A B C or Adjust the backset of the latch if needed Install latch
• Page 3 - English - : A B C D F Push bolt to install exterior lever interior interior interior E interior Keep turn button horizontal as shown interior Install levers concealed screws Tip Pull lever slightly away from door to see where screws insert IMPORTANT If installing a passage lock on an entry door make sure the lever without the screw holes is on the exterior side of the door A B D Install levers exposed screws C E Privacy locks only Lever handle faces away from latch Option 1 Install privacypassage levers exterior interior Hole must be on the side for privacy levers Keep parallel to the door edge Save the bedroombathroom emergency unlock tool for future use Press latch bolt to install lever
• Page 4 - English - : Make sure the preinstalled lever adapter is still on the chassis interior A B C Option 2 Install entry levers exterior Keep parallel Option 3 Install dummy nonrotating levers A CB Note Locking function may dier per locklever A Install levers exposed screws Option 4 Install storeroom levers Measure the thickness of your door to determine if adjustment are required before installing interior lever assembly or A Place a wood block on a solid surface tap the end of spindle down until the bump is even with lever assembly as shown No additional adjustment needed Proceed to step B Proceed to step B 44 mm 134 35 mm 138
• Page 5 - English - : If small bolt of latch enters strike hole reposition strike small bolt in strike hole small bolt NOT in strike hole If latch is loose in the strike adjust the strike tab so it grips the latch bolt better when the door is closed tab Close door test latch operation and make adjustments as needed A B Install strike to door frame Tip Pull lever slightly away from door to see where screws insert IMPORTANT If installing a storeroom function lock on a secured door make sure the keyed lever is on the exterior side of the door B C E D F Lever handle faces away from latch Option 4 Install storeroom levers exterior interior Keep parallel to the door edge Press latch bolt to install lever interior interior interior Install levers exposed screws
