1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure all Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are strictly adhered to when using
tools.
8 DO NOT use tools if damaged or worn.
9 Maintain the tools in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.
9 Ensure all threads are clean and well lubricated.
9 Always check that puller is correctly assembled and is square with the workpiece.
9 If vehicle is raised, ensure it is adequately supported with axle stands, ramps, etc. as appropriate.
9 Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear jewellery. Tie back long hair.
9 Wear approved eye protection. A full range of personal safety equipment is available from your Sealey stockists.
9 Where possible shield workpiece with canvas or similar to provide protection against failed parts.
8 DO NOT heat puller jaws when heating a gear or bearing as this will aect the temper and, therefore, the strength of the material.
8 DO NOT hit workpiece, with a hammer if workpiece has not moved with maximum puller force applied. Use a larger capacity
puller.
9 Account for all tools and parts being used and DO NOT leave them in or on the vehicle.

external pulling operations. Adjustable shims for precise t into the deep grove bearing. Ideal for use with a ratchet or spanner.
Manufactured from high-grade steel for added strength and durability. Supplied in a storage case.

5. OPERATION
5.1. Assemble as above.
5.2. Hold spanner in one hand and wind draw bar (3/4) to remove bearing. DO NOT use air tools.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Keep draw bars well lubricated (see above).
6.2. Keep components clean and store in a dry, childproof location.
