STYLING TIPS
1 Begin with freshly washed hair with Neuro
care
products, and towel dry to remove excess moisture.
2 Apply Neuro
Prime HeatCTRL
®
Blowout Primer and/
or Neuro
Li HeatCTRL
®
Volume Foam to hair for a
longlasting, full-body blowout.
3 Section the hair.
4 Starting at the nape of the neck, use the Neuro
Round
brush to wrap a section of hair.
5 For added volume, begin section by pointing the nozzle
upward at the roots and blow-drying for added li.
6 Pull the brush through the section as you continue to
blow-dry, pointing the nozzle downward onto hair to
eliminate frizz and add shine.
7 As you pull the brush through the hair, follow it with
the dryer to evenly distribute the heat for a fast dry.
8 When you reach the end of the hair, either turn the
brush inward or outward depending on the style.
9 Lock in style by pressing the cool shot buon.
10 Continue through all sections until hair is completely
dry and styled.
11 To set your look, spray hair with Neuro
Finish

FOR CURLY HAIR TYPES
1 Aach the diffuser.
2 Begin by drying the hair at a low heat and speed at
the roots using circular motions, always moving in the
same direction.
3 Finish by increasing the heat and gathering sections
of hair into the diffuser for gentle drying and styling.
4 For maximum volume, point the dryer at the roots.
5 To set the style, release a cool shot of air.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
When you plug in the dryer, the power buon and
cool buon will dimly illuminate.
1 Press the power buon and the NEURO
logo will illuminate, as well as:

2 Press the cool buon , and the light
will become bright (cool shot is on).
Press it again, and the buon will turn
back to a dim light (cool shot is off).
3 Touch ; the ion feature will be turned
on and the dim light will change to a
bright light (ion feature off is the
default seing).
4 Touch to increase or decrease
the air speed.
5 Touch to decrease or increase
the temperature.
SMARTSENSE “CLEAN FILTER” LIGHT
After 30 hours of use, the SmartSense “Clean Filter”
light will begin to blink to alert you to wash and clean
the filter (thoroughly wash filter with warm water
and air dry). To Reset press the clean filter icon and it
will be reset for another 30 hours. The “Clean Filter”
light will stop blinking once reset.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric appliances, especially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

KEEP AWAY FROM WATER.

when switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always unplug it immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. If an appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.

Do not use attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.

Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
Plug the dryer into an electrical outlet of AC 125V/60Hz.

Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
DO NOT WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE DRYER. Allow the cord to hang
loose and straight at the point of entry into the dryer.
Never drop or insert objects into any of the dryer openings.
Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.
DO NOT USE WHEN CORD HAS BEEN DAMAGED OR IF PLUG IS LOOSE.
DO NOT REPAIR, TAMPER WITH, OR TRY TO RECONSTRUCT the dryer or
electric shock, personal injury, property damage, malfunction or accidents
may result.
When inserting or pulling out the plug, hold the plug rmly to prevent
the cord from peeling and to prevent accidents, misuse, personal injury,
property damage or malfunction.
Stop using immediately if you smell an offensive odor. If ignored, it could
cause a re or other accidents.
Do not keep the dryer in a damp place, such as a bathroom, or it
may malfunction.
Stop using the dryer and remove from the power source when there is an
earthquake or thunder.
Unplug the dryer from the power source when cleaning or wiping to prevent
re or electric shock.
Never block the air openings of the dryer or place it on a soft surface, such
as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked.

Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, etc.
Never use while sleeping
Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
Avoid multiple cables to a plug.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.
Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
Do not place the dryer on any surface while it is operating.
While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlets.
Do not operate with a voltage converter.
THE ALCI PLUG
This appliance is equipped with an ALCI (appliance leakage current interrupter)
safety device specically engineered for safety. The ALCI plug is intended to
interrupt its load circuit when there is an electrical fault to the appliance. It is
for household use and may be plugged into a standard AC electrical outlet
(ordinary household current). The ALCI safety device in this unit is built into the
plug. This device will make it inoperable under some abnormal conditions, such
as accidental immersion in water. If the appliance is immersed in water, do not
attempt to reset the ALCI safety device.
The ALCI safety device is equipped with a test button so that its operation can
be checked.
TO TEST
1. Press the Reset button on the ALCI safety device.
2. Plug your blow-dryer into an AC outlet, then press the Test button.
3. The Reset button will pop out. This veries the safety device is operating
properly. If the Reset button does not pop out, do not use the unit. Return it
immediately for service.
4. Press the Reset button to reactivate the ALCI safety device. Your blow-dryer
is ready for use. Repeat this procedure every time you use the blow-dryer to
conrm that the safety device is operating properly.
SPECIAL ATTENTION
If the unit detects an electrical shock hazard, it will immediately shut off. To
restore power, press the Reset button on the ALCI safety device to reactivate
the circuit.
Test the ALCI plug before each use as noted:
1. Press Test button.
2. Reset button will pop up. If it doesn’t, do not use appliance.
3. Press Reset button to test for power.
If the ALCI plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
MAINTENANCE
Daily Maintenance: For the safe use of the dryer, check the following daily:
Check the cord and surface of the cord. Never use if any parts are cracked,
split, torn or damaged.
Check the plug and never use if it is cracked, split or damaged.
Check the plug pins and never use if transformed or damaged.
Check the controller and do not use if cracked, split, broken or damaged.
When not in use, clean and dry the entire dryer and store in a cool, dry place.
When ready to use, follow the directions for daily maintenance.
Routine Cleaning: To keep dryer clean, unplug the dryer from the power
source. Once the dryer is cool, check to see if lter is dirty. Clean lter often for
optimal performance and longevity.
WARNING: Do not wipe the dryer with thinner, benzene, gasoline, lamp oil, and
other solvents or chemicals, as that may cause accidents or malfunction and
may damage the dryer and void the warranty.

conditions may vary depending on salon/authorized retailer’s individual
exchange or return policy) and stylists can return it to their distributor,
making sure to bring the original proof of purchase. Otherwise, you may send
us your appliance, postage paid, along with completed Warranty Request,
your proof of purchase, and a money order or credit card information for
$14.00 (USD) payable to Paul Mitchell
®

cover shipping, handling and insurance back to you. Repair or servicing of
defective appliances is not offered. Warranty replacement of Limited Edition
appliances is subject to availability; appliances may be replaced with a similar
or equal product.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR

rights, which may vary from state to state both in the USA and Canada.
If tool is registered, 12 months is automatically extended to 24 months.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Normal wear and tear, which includes, but is not limited to housing scratches,
shorts or cuts in the power supply cord or plug; damage due to misuse
and abuse such as dropping, wrong voltage supply or neglecting safety
precautions; tampering, such as repair or attempted repair by unauthorized
party; neglect or lack of proper maintenance; damage to cord. Do not wrap the
cord around the dryer as it can result in the cord breaking.
