• Whererigidwallorsupportisavailabletopreventtheincreaseofoperation

• Wherethereisnoriskofcombustiblegasleakage.
• Wheninstallingtheunit,besuretosecuretheunitlegs.
• Whereitisatleast10ft.(3m)awayfromtheantennaofTVsetorradio.Op-
erationoftheairconditionermayinterferewithradioorTVreceptioninareas
wherereceptionisweak.Anampliermayberequiredfortheaffecteddevice.
• Installtheunithorizontally.
• Pleaseinstallitinanareanotaffectedbysnowfallorblowingsnow.Inareas
withheavy snow, pleaseinstall a canopy,a pedestaland/or some bafe
boards.

Itisadvisabletomakeapipingloopnearoutdoorunitsoastoreducevibration
transmitted from there.
Note:
When operating the air conditioner in low outside temperature, be sure to
follow the instructions described below.
• Neverinstalltheoutdoorunitinaplacewhereitsairinlet/outletsidemay
be exposed directly to wind.
• Topreventexposuretowind,installtheoutdoor
unitwithitsairinletside
facing the wall.
•
Topreventexposuretowind,itisrecommendedtoinstallabafeboardon
the air outlet side of the outdoor unit.
Avoidthe following places for installation where airconditioner trouble is
liable to occur.
• Whereammablegascouldleak.
• Wherethereismuchmachineoil.
• Saltyplacessuchastheseaside.
• Wheresuldegasisgeneratedsuchashotspring,sewage,wastewater.
• Wherethereishigh-frequencyorwirelessequipment.
• WherethereisemissionofhighlevelsofVOCs,includingphthalatecom-
pounds,formaldehyde,etc.,whichmaycausechemicalcracking.
3. Obstacles in front (blowing) only
Whenthereisanobstacleinfrontoftheunitasshowninthegure,open
spaceabove,behind,andonthesidesoftheunitisrequired.
