3.2.7 802.1x
IEEE 802.1x is an IEEE standard for port-based Network Access Control. It provides an
authentication mechanism to devices wishing to attach to a LAN or WLAN. Note this function
is only applicable to GV-ABL2702 / 4712 / 8712, GV-AVD2700 / 4710 / 8710, GV-BLFC5800,
GV-EBD2702 / 4700 / 4704 / 4711 / 4813 / 8700 / 8711 / 8800 / 8813, GV-EBFC5800, GV-
FER5702, GV-PTZ5810-IR, GV-TBL4705 / 4710 / 4810 / 8710 / 8804 / 8810, GV-TDR2700 /
4700 / 4704 / 4803 / 8805, TFD4800, and GV-TVD4710 / 4810 / 8710 / 8810.

1. Enable IEEE 802.1x.
2. Type the Username and Password. Type the password again for confirmation.
