overthepressurereliefvalvetoverifythatthegasisowingout.

5.Liftthepressurereliefvalvetolettheoverpressureoutofthecameraunit.

6.Repeatthellingprocessatotalof3times,leavingthethecamerapressurizedthelasttime.

7.Putthecapsbackontheinletvalveandthepressurereliefvalve.

ToaccesstheAxisproduct,youmustsetthepasswordforthedefaultadministratoruserroot.ThisisdoneintheCongureRoot

Passworddialog,whichopenswhentheproductisaccessedforthersttime.

Topreventnetworkeavesdropping,therootpasswordcanbesetviaanencryptedHTTPSconnection,whichrequiresanHTTPS

certicate.HTTPS(HypertextTransferProtocoloverSSL)isaprotocolusedtoencrypttrafcbetweenwebbrowsersandservers.The

HTTPScerticateensuresencryptedexchangeofinformation.SeeHTTPSonpage48.

Thedefaultadministratorusernamerootispermanentandcannotbedeleted.Ifthepasswordforrootislost,theproductmustbe

resettothefactorydefaultsettings.SeeHowtoresettofactorydefaultsettingsonpage59.

TosetthepasswordviaastandardHTTPconnection,enteritdirectlyinthedialog.

WhenEnableE-ipisselected,asittiltsdownandcontinuestopanbackwards,theAxisproductwillautomaticallycorrecttheview

andipit180degrees.Theleftlimitmustbesetto–180degreesandtherightlimitto180degreesfore-iptowork.

Nearfocuslimitisusedtopreventthecamerafromautofocusingonobjectsclosetothecamera.Thisway,thecameracanignore

objectssuchasoverheadwires,streetlights,orothercamerasplacedclosetothecamera.

Tomakethecamerafocusontheareasofinterest,setthenearfocuslimittoavaluethatisgreaterthanthedistanceatwhichthe
