polygonindicatesthattheobjectisfoundandisdetectedasamovingobject.Agreenpolygonindicatesthattheobjectisfoundbut

isignoredbecauseitisnotintheincludeareaorbecauseofoneoftheignorelters.

Whenvisualconrmationisenabled,allmovingobjectsfoundbytheapplicationwillbeencircledandfollowedbypolygons.Ared

polygonindicatesthattheobjectisfoundandthattrackinghasstarted.Agreenpolygonindicatesthattheobjectisfoundbutis

ignoredbecauseitisnotintheincludeareaorbecauseofoneoftheignorelters.

Theyellowrectangleshowshowtheviewareafollowsmovingobjectsandhowtheviewareazoomlevelisadaptedtoincludeall

movingobjects.

Toenablevisualconrmation:

1.SelecttheEnablevisualconrmationoption.

2.ClickSave.

•Visualconrmationisdisabledafter15minutes.

•Aftermodifyingasetting,clickSavetoapplythechange.Thevideostreamwillberestartedanditmaytakeafewseconds

beforethechangeisapplied.

•Enablingvisualconrmationmayintroducevideolatency.

IgnoreFilters

IfAXISVideoMotionDetection3detectstoomanyunwantedobjects,startbymodifyingtheincludeandexcludeareas.Ifstilltoo

manyobjectsaredetected,useoneormoreoftheignorelters.

IfAXISDigitalAutotrackingtrackstoomanyunwantedobjects,startbymodifyingtheincludeandexcludeareas.Ifstilltoo

manyobjectsaretracked,useoneormoreoftheignorelters.

Supportedignorelters:

•Swayingobjects—Usedtoignoreobjectsthatonlymoveashortdistance

•Short-livedobjects—Usedtoignoreobjectsthatonlyappearintheimageforashortperiodoftime

•Smallobjects—Usedtoignoresmallobjects

Ignoreltersareappliedtoallmovingobjectsfoundbytheapplicationandshouldbeconguredwithcaretoensurethatno

importantobjectsareignored.

Onlyuseignoreltersifneededanduseasfewltersaspossible.Enableandcongureonelteratatimeandusevisualconrmation

toverifythesettingsbeforeenablinganotherlter.Whenconguringalter,startwithasmallltersize,clickSaveandusevisual

conrmationtoverifythesettings.Ifrequired,increasetheltersizeinsmallstepsuntilthenumberofunwantedobjectsisreduced.

SwayingObjectIgnoreFilter

Theswayingobjectlterisusedtoavoiddetectingobjectsthatonlymoveashortdistance,forexamplemovingtrees,agsandtheir

shadows.Usethelterifsuchobjectscausealotoffalsedetections.Iftheswayingobjectsinthescenearelarge,forexamplelarge
